We’re looking for a Product Designer to shape player journeys, design fast prototypes, validate ideas, and influence product direction from day one.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Define UX direction for brand‑new products and early‑stage features.
- Architect clear, conversion‑driven player flows across sportsbook and casino journeys.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for rapid validation and KPI‑driven decisions.
- Lead discovery: identify user friction, market gaps, and new product opportunities.
- Use data (funnels, heatmaps, behavior) to guide prioritization and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Product Analysts.
- Design A/B test variants and optimize LTV, engagement, and conversion.

About the Role
Shape the digital experiences that define how the world perceives Payhawk.
As a Senior Digital Experience Designer, you will create high-impact web experiences and digital assets that directly influence user engagement, conversion, and pipeline. You’ll work at the intersection of brand, UX, and performance — partnering closely with the Web Presence team, Content, SEO, Performance Marketing, ABM and Product Marketing teams.
You will take ownership of designing new sections of the website (homepage, pricing, platform, solutions, PPC and ABM landing pages), creating breakthrough creative for paid channels (LinkedIn and programmatic), and elevating UX consistency, motion, and visual quality across Payhawk’s digital ecosystem. This is a senior role for a designer who works autonomously, thinks strategically, starts with data, and drives evidence-based decisions.
If you’re a digital-first designer who combines strong craft with UX insight, performance thinking, and a bias for experimentation, this role gives you high visibility and meaningful impact on Payhawk’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end web pages (e.g., homepage, pricing, PPC, and ABM landing pages) informed by user data and business objectives.
- Develop high-quality UX layouts, wireframes, and designs that translate product messaging into intuitive digital experiences.
- Create paid social and programmatic ad creatives, optimizing performance through A/B testing and collaboration with Performance Marketing.
- Enhance and expand the design system, developing reusable templates and addressing UX/UI inconsistencies.
- Collaborate across teams (Content, PMM, SEO, ABM, Web PM, developers, and Brand Designers) to ensure high-impact, search-friendly designs and seamless execution.
Requirements

- 4–5 years of experience as a Web, Digital, or Marketing Designer.
- Experience in SaaS, tech, or performance-driven environments is a plus.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex web pages, UX flows, landing pages, components, and high-performing ads.
- Deep expertise in Figma (components, responsive design, prototyping, design systems).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, IA, conversion design, and behavioural patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and user research to inform design recommendations.
- Experience running or participating in user testing (e.g., Wynter, A/B tests, preference tests).
- Ability to pitch and defend design decisions based on evidence, not preference.
- Experience preparing developer-ready handoffs and working closely with engineers in iterative cycles.
- High proficiency designing ads for paid social and programmatic channels.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple workstreams, and committed to continuous improvement.
- A mindset that blends creativity, rigour, and performance thinking.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion assets is a plus.

You will apply system thinking, lead discovery and experimentation, and collaborate cross‑functionally to optimize complex iGaming experiences. The emphasis is on UX strategy, logic, and outcomes - not visual design execution.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Drive Product Strategy through UX: Move beyond "user satisfaction" to align UX roadmaps with core business KPIs (eg, Increasing NGR, improving FTD conversion, and reducing churn).
- Logical Architecture & Flow: Prioritize functional logic and system thinking over aesthetics. Map complex iGaming ecosystems to ensure user journeys are frictionless and conversion-optimized.
- Outcome-Based Design: Shift focus from "delivering features" to "solving user friction." Create wireframes and prototypes that serve as hypotheses to be tested against real-world product performance.
- Discovery & Validation: Lead continuous discovery. Instead of just "understanding behavior," identify market gaps and user pain points that represent new product opportunities.
- Data-Informed Iteration: Partner with Product Analysts to interpret funnel data and heatmaps, using these quantitative insights to prioritize the product backlog.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the bridge between Product Management and Engineering, ensuring design specifications are technically feasible and commercially viable.
- Rapid Experimentation: Design for A/B testing. Create variant experiences to scientifically determine which design patterns drive the best player lifetime value (LTV).
Who You Are:
- Product-Minded Strategist: You don't just care about "good design"; you care about why a feature exists and how it moves the needle for the company.
- Analytical Problem Solver: You are comfortable looking at a Fullstory or Google Analytics dashboard to identify where users are dropping off and proposing architectural solutions.
- Agile & Lean Practitioner: You prefer "low-fidelity" speed for validation over "pixel-perfect" stagnation. You understand the "Minimum Viable Experience."
- Business Fluent: You can speak the language of stakeholders discussing conversion rates, technical debt, and ROI just as easily as typography or spacing.
- iGaming Context: Familiarity with the psychological triggers of gaming, such as "near-miss" mechanics, reward loops, and responsible gaming friction.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Relevant experience and mindset:
Design craft: You bring a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and a clear point of view. You’re fluent in UX and visual design, and comfortable moving from ideation to high-fidelity execution.
Experience: You have a minimum 4+ years of designing digital products, preferably in fast-paced, agile environments. Experience in B2B SaaS is an advantage.
Collaboration: You thrive in cross-functional teams and know how to navigate the dynamics of working closely with PMs, developers, and stakeholders. You understand how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to move work forward effectively.
Mindset: You are curious, humble, and proactive. You take strong ownership of your work and drive initiatives forward. You are comfortable with ambiguity, energized by complex challenges, open to feedback, and committed to continuous learning and iteration.
Communication: You’re a clear communicator and effective storyteller who can articulate the "why" behind your design decisions to different audiences.
Tools: You’re fluent in Figma and other modern design and AI prototyping tools.
