Requirements

• 5+ years of DBA/DBE experience managing production-grade relational databases at large scale.
• Deep MySQL/Aurora internals knowledge, from slow queries to replication lag and everything in between.
• Strong experience with AWS-native database solutions and data tooling.
• Familiarity with Laravel or PHP-based ORM query behavior.
• Experience managing and monitoring databases with tens or hundreds of billions of rows.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. This role is focused on building tools and software components that offload, store, manipulate and provide access to robot data, managing on premise and cloud resources, and providing production support for this infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience building tools and infrastructure for a large-scale autonomous / deep learning system.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain tools and software components that offload, store, manipulate and provide access to robot data
• Architect and manage storage and compute resources across on-premise and cloud environments at a massive scale.

• 5+ years of experience in web development (any stack), solving challenging problems and implementing new features from scratch.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL. Designing relational DB schemas, complex queries, etc.
• Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles.
• Example of full-stack projects.
• At least one major demonstrable project with front-end code, back-end code and database.
• Ability to design, develop and launch a web application from start to finish.
• Ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills independently.
