We are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Director of Commercial Partnerships & Channel Sales to lead and expand our CLEAR1 partner ecosystem across ISVs, VARs, Marketplaces, and System Integrators. As a senior member of the team reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships & Channel Sales, you will shape our partner go-to-market strategy, drive significant revenue through channel-led motions, and help scale the business.
This role requires a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, can shift seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, and brings deep expertise in B2B channel sales and partnership models.
What you'll do:
- Execute against CLEAR1’s channel sales strategy to grow revenue through partners and indirect sales motions.
- Evaluate and structure new partnership opportunities that drive distribution, adoption, and new revenue.
- Own revenue targets for partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipelines.
- Manage day-to-day partner relationships, ensuring partners have the resources, support, and guidance needed to drive successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product, Legal, Marketing, and Sales leadership to align channel initiatives with business goals and deliver seamless end-user experiences.
- Develop and launch partner incentive programs, promotions, and performance levers that motivate and accelerate channel results.
- Monitor partner performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize channel productivity.
How you'll measure success:
- Growth in partner-sourced revenue and channel contribution to overall sales.
- High partner engagement with Sales, measurable through deal collaboration, forecasting accuracy, and co-marketing performance.
- Achievement of targeted pipeline generation and conversion rates within the channel.
- Ability to shape roadmap, commercial strategy, and ecosystem investments based on data-driven insights.
What you're great at:
- 8+ years of applicable experience with a proven track record of driving material B2B revenue through channel and ecosystem-based motions.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage complex commercial partnerships.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, including C-level leaders.
- Highly adaptable operator with exceptional context-switching abilities across strategy, deals, operations, and execution.
- Data-driven mindset with experience forecasting channel revenue and ROI.

Solution Architect, AI / Cloudflare Developer Platform
As a Solution Architect, Cloudflare AI / Developer Platform and a member of the sales team, you will help customers understand the value proposition of the Cloudflare Developer Platform and demonstrate how to effectively build applications with our products.
Every day as a Solution Architect is different. You will utilize both technical and business skills to advise customers and sales teams, support strategic opportunities, architect innovative solutions, and develop proofs of concept / demonstrations. Your technical knowledge of Cloudflare’s products and system design will be vital to designing solutions that meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
Serving as a trusted technical advisor, Solution Architects guide and enable clients, partners, and teams within Cloudflare on product capabilities, positioning and competitive intelligence. You will form a tight feedback loop with product, product marketing, and technical pre-sales to refine and evolve our products.
The ideal candidate possesses a consultative mindset, demonstrable success working with customers, and deep, practical knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud architecture, and experience building on a distributed serverless platform. No matter your background, you have natural curiosity and desire to solve problems, achieve goals, and design the most elegant and efficient solutions to address client needs. A successful Solution Architect at Cloudflare is able to act as a trusted advisor for our customers, while balancing the technical and business needs of the role – actively building and regularly presenting technical solutions to varied audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue, new customers and pipeline of AI and Developer Platform solutions.
- Lead technical discovery with customers and jointly architect best practice solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to drive developer platform revenue and customer adoption.
- Present to strategic customers as an expert of our Developer Platform solutions.
- Align Director and C-Level perceived business and technical value with Cloudflare developer solutions.
- Provide succinct feedback to cross-functional teams to deliver relevant Developer content, use cases, customer stories, and data driven value propositions.
Skill Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling or supporting technical sales in the cloud computing industry.
- Deep technical expertise across cloud infrastructure and AI/ML — you have built production systems that combine both as a solutions engineer, entrepreneur, or solution architect.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Practical knowledge and experience designing systems. You have built and deployed a production web application either professionally or as a hobbyist and are able to clearly articulate the design and explain the considerations / trade-offs. You are able to hear a clear, non-technical description of an application, ask clarifying questions, and quickly design a high-level, conceptual architecture.
- Software development experience delivering full-stack applications, preferably using modern JavaScript frameworks, a variety of databases, and Serverless tooling. Experience building with modern coding assistants.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows (branching, versioning, CI/CD practices, system integrations).
- Knowledge of key market players/competitors in the cloud computing, AI and storage spaces.
- Up to 30% travel.
Other desirable skills areas include:
- You’ve built something on Cloudflare Workers.
- AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Architect certifications.
- Providing structured customer feedback to influence product direction.
- Actively stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud computing to inform product strategy and roadmap.
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan.
For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of 212,000.00 - 292,000.00

About the Role
The Senior Director of Developer Product Marketing is the strategic lead for how Cloudflare’s developer platform is perceived and adopted in the global market. While our Product Managers build the "what," you own the "why," the "who," and the "how we win." You will lead the team responsible for defining the narrative for Workers, Workers AI, R2, and the broader developer ecosystem, ensuring our story resonates with everyone from solo builders to CTOs at Fortune 500 companies.
In this role, you will move beyond tactical growth loops to focus on the core tenets of Product Marketing: Positioning, Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy, Market Intelligence, and Sales/Field Readiness. You will be the primary bridge between a highly technical Product organization and our global Sales, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Positioning & Messaging: Define the category-level narrative for the Cloudflare Developer Platform. Create high-impact positioning that differentiates our "Connectivity Cloud" from legacy hyperscalers and niche compute providers.
- Go-to-Market Orchestration: Lead the end-to-end GTM strategy for new products and major feature launches. You will orchestrate the transition from "feature ready" to "market ready," ensuring all internal and external channels are aligned.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Act as the "outside-in" voice for the developer organization. Conduct deep competitive analysis and market research to influence the product roadmap and arm our field teams with "how to win" battlecards.
- Field & Sales Enablement: Partner with the Sales and Solutions Engineering leadership to build the playbook for selling to developers and technical buyers. Translate complex technical capabilities into value-based selling tools, demos, and training.
- Customer Insights & Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of our developer personas. Work with our customers to develop case studies and technical proof points that validate our platform’s impact at scale.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic partner to Product Management. While PMs own the product delivery and technical onboarding, you own the market success and the cohesive developer story across the entire Cloudflare portfolio.
- Team Leadership: Recruit and mentor a high-performing team of Product Marketers and Content Strategists, fostering a culture of excellence in storytelling and strategic thinking.
Who You Are
- A Master Strategist: You have a proven track record of taking complex developer technologies and turning them into clear, compelling market narratives. You think in terms of market categories and value props, not just feature lists.
- Technically Credible: You are comfortable "talking shop" with developers and PMs. You understand the nuances of serverless, edge computing, and AI architectures, and you know how to translate those into business outcomes.
- GTM Expert: You have led large-scale launches in the DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure space. You know how to align a global organization around a single launch moment.

Qualifications
- 10+ years in Product Marketing, with a significant focus on developer-facing tools or infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS).
- Experience leading PMM teams in a high-velocity, technical environment (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Vercel, Stripe).
- Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps through market research and competitive intelligence.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills—you can write the keynote and the technical whitepaper.

About the Role
Own the end-to-end partner strategy for Cloudflare’s Developer Platform—spanning channel partners (SIs/MSPs/service providers) and technology alliances (integrations, co-builds). Your mandate: prioritize the right partners, ship joint solutions, and align GTM so developers can adopt and scale faster—with measurable, partner-sourced and influenced revenue. You’ll set the strategy centrally and execute through the regional partner teams. (Cloudflare programs include technology partnerships aligned to developer services and other solution areas; partner network spans technology, global SIs, and service providers.
What You Will Do
- Set the ecosystem strategy: Map, segment, and prioritize partners (channel + tech) that matter for developer workloads; publish a focused “top-X” plan per region.
- Build technology alliances: Land integrations and reference architectures that improve customer outcomes on Workers/Workers AI, R2/D1/KV, Queues, Stream, and real-time primitives; define validation and co-support paths. (Cloudflare’s tech partnerships drive integrations and joint GTM aligned to Developer Services.
- Co-sell / co-market plays: Create repeatable partner plays (ICP, offer, proof, pricing posture), enable regional partner managers, and measure attach/impact.
- Channel acceleration: With SIs/MSPs/service providers, package implementation offers and services SKUs; raise partner capability and profitability with clear enablement and “give/get.”
- Program alignment: Coordinate listings and offers where relevant; align with central partner programs for readiness and incentives.
- Operate through regions: Run a global partner operating rhythm (monthly reviews, quarterly plans) through regional leaders; unblock deals and integrations.
- Own the scorecard: Partner-sourced and influenced pipeline/bookings, integration launches and adoption, partner attach on priority workloads, enablement completion, and partner NPS.
Who You Are
- Builder, not just broker: 10+ years across channel + developer/alliances; you’ve shipped integrations and built co-sell machines with SIs/MSPs/tech partners.
- Developer-fluent: Comfortable with workloads, APIs/SDKs, reference architectures, and how developers evaluate platforms; you translate technical value to commercial outcomes.
- Operator with range: You write crisp plans, run a global cadence, and drive matrixed execution with Sales, Product, PMM, Finance, and Legal.
- Metrics-driven: You size opportunities, forecast partner impact, and hold partners (and us) to results.
- Global & pragmatic: Experience working across Americas/EMEA/APAC through regional partner teams; clear communicator, excellent collaborator.

The Developer Solution Strategist (DSS) organization sits inside Developer GTM and partners tightly with Sales, Product, Finance, Legal, PMM, and DevRel. DSS connects developer activation to durable commercial outcomes: shaping usage into clear proposals, aligning pricing and packaging, enabling the field with repeatable plays, and feeding real-world signal back into product and go-to-market.
About the Role
We are hiring a Director, Developer Solution Strategists to lead regional Managers in Americas, EMEA, and APAC, each managing teams of Solution Strategists aligned to their sales regions. You will set the global DSS strategy, standardize operating rhythms, hire and develop managers, and ensure consistent execution on activation → expansion → commercial structure—while keeping pricing/contract approvals with the right governance teams.
This leader is equally fluent in developer workloads and commercial mechanics, can operate from strategy to hands-on deal guidance, and is energized by building a high-trust partnership with field leadership worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Own the global DSS strategy and operating model. Define goals, scorecards, and cadences for regional teams (usage activation, expansion, proposal velocity, win rate, disciplined discounting, sourced/influenced pipeline).
- Build and lead a high-performing, distributed org. Hire, develop, and coach regional Managers; set expectations, run QBRs, and establish a clear career ladder for Solution Strategists.
- Drive activation → expansion for priority workloads. Ensure teams use usage telemetry to identify “next-best actions,” expansion paths, and strategic accounts; publish a weekly global “usage radar.”
- Standardize commercial design. Maintain global proposal templates, option frameworks (PAYG vs. commit), ROI/TCO narratives, concession “give/get” rules, and approval SLAs. Pricing and non-standard terms remain with Finance/Legal; DSS designs and shepherds.
- Run pipeline and deal reviews. Establish a global rhythm for opportunity triage, strategic deal reviews, and win/loss analysis; surface systemic blockers and drive resolution with Sales, Deal Desk, Security, and Legal.
- Enable the field at scale. Ship workload blueprints, playbooks, calculators, objection handling, and talk tracks; run monthly regional enablement with Sales leadership and measure adoption and lift.
- Close the loop with Product & PMM. Translate field insights into clear, quantified recommendations on positioning, packaging, limits, and roadmap; track impact ($) of changes.
- Partner with Programs. Support startups/accelerators and targeted campaigns with BDR/Marketing, with a clear sunset plan as regions become self-sufficient.
- Forecasting & planning. Own DSS headcount planning, coverage models by segment/geo, and quarterly objectives; partner with RevOps for attribution and instrumentation.

Who You Are
- 10+ years in developer platforms, pre-sales/solutions, deal strategy, or commercial architecture; 4+ years leading managers across multiple regions/time zones.
- Proven ability to translate technical workloads into compelling commercial outcomes and navigate complex approvals with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Security.
- Builder’s mindset with strong operational chops: you design operating models, write crisp narratives, and drive cross-functional execution.

Solution Architect, AI / Cloudflare Developer Platform
As a Solution Architect, Cloudflare AI / Developer Platform and a member of the sales team, you will help customers understand the value proposition of the Cloudflare Developer Platform and demonstrate how to effectively build applications with our products.
Every day as a Solution Architect is different. You will utilize both technical and business skills to advise customers and sales teams, support strategic opportunities, architect innovative solutions, and develop proofs of concept / demonstrations. Your technical knowledge of Cloudflare’s products and system design will be vital to designing solutions that meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
Serving as a trusted technical advisor, Solution Architects guide and enable clients, partners, and teams within Cloudflare on product capabilities, positioning and competitive intelligence. You will form a tight feedback loop with product, product marketing, and technical pre-sales to refine and evolve our products.
The ideal candidate possesses a consultative mindset, demonstrable success working with customers, and deep, practical knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud architecture, and experience building on a distributed serverless platform. No matter your background, you have natural curiosity and desire to solve problems, achieve goals, and design the most elegant and efficient solutions to address client needs. A successful Solution Architect at Cloudflare is able to act as a trusted advisor for our customers, while balancing the technical and business needs of the role – actively building and regularly presenting technical solutions to varied audiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales organization to drive revenue, new customers and pipeline of AI and Developer Platform solutions.
- Lead technical discovery with customers and jointly architect best practice solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to drive developer platform revenue and customer adoption.
- Present to strategic customers as an expert of our Developer Platform solutions.
- Align Director and C-Level perceived business and technical value with Cloudflare developer solutions.
- Provide succinct feedback to cross-functional teams to deliver relevant Developer content, use cases, customer stories, and data driven value propositions.
Skill Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling or supporting technical sales in the cloud computing industry.
- Deep technical expertise across cloud infrastructure and AI/ML — you have built production systems that combine both as a solutions engineer, entrepreneur, or solution architect.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Practical knowledge and experience designing systems. You have built and deployed a production web application either professionally or as a hobbyist and are able to clearly articulate the design and explain the considerations / trade-offs. You are able to hear a clear, non-technical description of an application, ask clarifying questions, and quickly design a high-level, conceptual architecture.
- Software development experience delivering full-stack applications, preferably using modern JavaScript frameworks, a variety of databases, and Serverless tooling. Experience building with modern coding assistants.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows (branching, versioning, CI/CD practices, system integrations).
- Knowledge of key market players/competitors in the cloud computing, AI and storage spaces.
- Up to 30% travel.

About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for the AI & Developer Platform, you will lead a team of high-performing technical experts who help customers understand the business value and technical details of Cloudflare’s ecosystem. You will serve as a strategic partner to sales leadership, advising on programs to grow developer revenue and supporting complex strategic opportunities. In this leadership capacity, you will bridge the gap between technical sales and product engineering, ensuring your team effectively acts as the feedback loop that evolves our product offerings.

About the Role
Cloudflare’s Senior Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) operate at the intersection of product engineering and customer impact.
As an FDE, you will be embedded within one of Cloudflare’s most strategic global customers, working side-by-side with their engineering teams to build and deploy solutions using Cloudflare’s platform. Unlike traditional Solutions Architects or consultants, you will write production code, shape technical architecture, and directly influence how Cloudflare products are used at massive scale.
You will operate as a technical extension of both organizations - helping the customer ship faster while surfacing real-world product insights back to Cloudflare engineering.

About Team & About Role:
The Senior Manager of Commissions & Design is responsible for leading the end-to-end commissions function, ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable execution of sales compensation. This role partners closely with Sales Operations, HR and Finance to design and operationalize compensation plans, improve processes, and deliver actionable insights that drive performance and trust.
Key Responsibilities
Commissions Execution & Accuracy
- Own monthly/quarterly commission calculations, validation, and payouts
- Ensure auditability and compliance with SoX and sales compensation policies
- Manage exception handling and governance in partnership with Sales Ops & Finance
- Oversee commissions systems (e.g., Xactly) and ensure data integrity across inputs and outputs, including annual UAT activities
Process & Systems Optimization
- Build and scale commissions processes to support company growth and complexity
- Lead system enhancements, automation, and integrations with CRM and upstream data sources
- Reduce manual adjustments by identifying root causes and improving upstream processes
- Partner with Sales Compensation to ensure plan designs are operationally scalable and system-compatible
- Drive continuous improvement across global processes, including standardization across regions and segments
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Sales Operations on plan design and rollout, SPIFFs, and policy interpretation
- Collaborate with Finance on accruals, forecasting, and expense management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for commissions-related inquiries
- Contribute to Sales Compensation Committee materials, including payout trends, exception analysis, and operational insights
- Support global stakeholders, including occasional travel to align with international teams and processes
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver reporting on commissions trends, attainment, and payout distribution
- Identify risks (overpayment, underpayment, plan misalignment)
- Provide insights to improve plan effectiveness and sales behavior
- Analyze exception trends and partner with Sales Compensation to address root causes
- Support executive-level reporting needs, including inputs into compensation reviews and governance forums
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop commissions analysts/specialists
- Establish SLAs, QA processes, and documentation standards

Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in commissions, sales compensation, or sales operations
- Strong experience with commissions platforms (e.g., Xactly)

About the Role
As a Technical Marketing Intern, you will help accelerate our plans to improve the content and tools we build for technical sales, partners and customers. Your work will be key to improving our ability to explain to customers the complex technical details which will lead to an increase in sales.

Responsibilities
- Gain experience with all of Cloudflare's amazing technology and work with the people that build it.

Digital Native AEs at Cloudflare sell into the most innovative companies in North America. Key Responsibilities

What you’ll do as a Solutions Engineer
You are the technical lynchpin through the entire sales cycle - pre-sales and account technical leadership. You will work closely with our Public Sector prospects and customers to educate, empower, and ensure their success on the Cloudflare platform. Your technical expertise in Cloudflare’s global distributed network and technology will allow you to find best-fit solutions for prospects, to train and onboard new customers via video-conference or in person, create documentation, and to support the long-term technology strategy of the customer.

Responsibilities
- As critical members of Cloudflare’s Public Sector Sales team, Solutions Engineers drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business, expand existing business, and keep our customers happy.
- In business generation and expansion, you’ll be tasked with qualification of prospect and customer use cases, technical requirements discovery, leading demonstrations, solution identification and design, and collaborative work on proofs-of-concept (PoCs).
- For our existing customers, Solutions Engineers are part of a dedicated account team that advises the customer on technical best practices, implementation of Cloudflare products and features, and strategic guidance.
- The role is focused on our territory segment within SLED and as such may require some travel but the majority of engagement will be done via remote mechanisms. - Demonstrated understanding in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7,Routing TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), SSL / TLS.

What you’ll do as a Senior Solutions Engineer
The Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization owns the technical sales of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap for our customers. Solution Engineering is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including but not limited to Sales Consultants, Technical Consultants, Technical Support and Program Managers.
You are a customer facing technologist within the Cloudflare Solutions Engineering team. You have experience in working in a pre-sales or other technical customer facing role supporting large enterprise accounts or acquiring new enterprise customers, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills suited to explain the benefits of Cloudflare products and services to existing and potential customers. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support, prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos explaining the benefits of Cloudflare products to existing and potential customers, and run proof of concept trials for customers.

What you'll do as a Senior Solutions Engineer, Majors Accounts
The Solution Engineering organization is responsible for the technical sale of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap for our customers.
Reporting to the Solution Engineering Manager, the Majors Accounts Solutions Engineer is a Senior level role. You are a customer facing technologist within the Cloudflare Solutions Engineering team. You have strong experience in large account pre-sales management as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills suited for executive-level engagement. You are comfortable speaking about the Cloudflare vision and mission with C-level customer executives. Your role will be to build passionate champions within the technology ranks at your accounts, drive sales for identified opportunities, and leverage your relationships with these technical champions to build a revenue pipeline where no opportunities yet exist.
You will work within a high-profile pursuit team dedicated to certain strategic accounts, working closely with the majors account executives attached to these accounts.
Specifically, we are looking for you to:
- Build and maintain long term technical relationships with the technical buyers (executives, managers and individual contributors) at your assigned accounts, becoming a trusted advisor to those stakeholders.
- Deeply understand the business-critical issues that your accounts are facing, and provide meaningful solution designs to facilitate technical validation of Cloudflare as a part of the customer’s infrastructure, including the coordination of Cloudflare colleagues throughout the sales and procurement cycle.
- Identify and drive technical conversations in every possible line of business within the accounts, engaging key technical buyers with the purpose of uncovering new areas of potential revenue & showing value to all possible parts of your accounts.

What you'll do as a Senior Solutions Engineer
The Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization owns the technical sales of the Cloudflare solution portfolio, ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design and adoption roadmap for our customers. Solution Engineering is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including but not limited to Sales Consultants, Technical Consultants, Technical Support and Program Managers.
You are a customer facing technologist within the Cloudflare Solutions Engineering team. You have experience in working in a pre-sales or other technical customer facing role supporting large enterprise accounts or acquiring new enterprise customers, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills suited to explain the benefits of CloudFlare products and services to existing and potential customers. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support, prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos explaining the benefits of Cloudflare products to existing and potential customers, and run proof of concept trials for customers.

- Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to Cloudflare solutions

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student to join the Employee Briefing Center (EBC) team as a Program Operations Analyst Intern. This role is crucial in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, and reporting capabilities of the EBC program. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of business processes, a keen interest in automation, and a desire to improve operational excellence using technology.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will focus on two core areas: Operations Projects and EBC Tooling / Reporting.
1. Operations & Process Improvement (Approx. 60% of Time)
- On-Site Logistics Lead: Coordinate end-to-end event logistics within our SF headquarters, partnering with Facilities, IT and Security teams to manage high-volume scheduling and resource allocation for the EBC. Drive operational excellence by maintaining a meticulously organized briefing center, ensuring all physical spaces and materials meet brand standards for global C-suite executives and key stakeholders.
- Identify and Implement Automation Opportunities: Work closely with the EBC team to map existing manual processes (e.g., brief request intake, feedback collection, resource allocation) and identify opportunities for automation using existing tools or Cloudflare solutions (e.g., Workers, AI agents, workflow automation features, etc.).
- Develop and Test Solutions: Design, build, and test basic automated workflows to streamline EBC operations, focusing on workload reduction, accuracy and user experience.

2. Tool Improvement and Reporting (Approx. 40% of Time)

- Tool Improvement Lean-in: Gather user feedback from the EBC team on tool functionality and propose/assist with minor tool improvements or feature enhancements to increase user adoption and efficiency.

Qualifications

About the Role
The Customer Advocacy Intern will support the team responsible for building, managing and growing customer marketing programs. Reporting to the Head of Customer Advocacy, the ideal candidate will be interested in a focus on both customer engagement and scaling customer programs in high growth SaaS companies. You will shadow the Customer Advocacy Managers cross functionally and globally in building customer participation with enterprise customers across many industries and partnering closely with stakeholders in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and PR/AR.
The candidate is an entry level intern who will work closely with the global Customer Advocacy team, who are driving all Customer Marketing and Customer Advocacy programs. Success is measured by the ability to drive forward efficiently and at the speed of the business, focused on quantity and quality of content, deep engagement with top accounts, brand equity, and levels/titles of participating customers.
The main projects are:
Customer References:
Support and fulfill sales 1:1 and RFP requests for customer references working across customer advocacy and account teams
Manage/track customer references requests via customer marketing tools
Support customer reference requests from key stakeholders across events, campaigns, product, analyst, and public relations teams
Customer Advocacy:
Qualify, develop and maintain a targeted pipeline of strategic customer relationships
Manage and qualify incoming nominations
Contribute to the development of high quality, world-class customer story content
Advisory Boards and Councils:
Shadow the process and contribute to our customer advisory boards/councils
Coordinate across many teams and executives, pre/post event success
Develop documents and reporting pre/post event
Assist in onsite, in-person, best-in-class customer experiences
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the GTM teams to develop and execute customer marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Support the research, writing, and editing of engaging case studies, customer interviews, and other marketing collateral.

The Americas GTM team is Cloudflare’s largest sales organization that comprises AEs, AMs, SEs, BDRs, CSMs, and Operations roles - all working together to help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create phenomenal internet-enabled experiences. The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems and needs to support their business outcomes, while also creating revenue streams that fuel Cloudflare’s culture of innovation and excellence.
About the role
The Digital Native segment at Cloudflare is our fastest growing segment in the US and we are looking for a Director of Sales to manage a team of Account Executives. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales management and technical background that enables them to drive engagement at all levels with technical and non-technical buyers.
As a Sales Director, you will have the opportunity to position and differentiate the Enterprise platform experience for Cloudflare, while reinforcing strong pipeline and forecast management practices. You will extensively interact with other teams within Business Development, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing to drive new business across untapped accounts.
This leadership role is within the Mid-Market team (Digital Native segment), and focuses on both the acquisition of new Digital Native accounts, as well as the expansion of existing Customer accounts. You will manage a team of 11 account executives. The expectation is for all sellers within this segment is to drive customer engagement from technical professionals through to executive levels, and across Security, Network, Development and Infrastructure teams, as an avenue to building and converting thousands of prospective customers.
This role extends beyond analyzing and reporting; we take pride in helping to design and implement solutions to the different challenges that can arise in our fast paced and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately forecast commits by month and quarter, and deliver attainment to quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Oversee, coach and motivate a team of account executives, consistently measuring their success against overall quota attainment, new logo acquisition and expansion into existing accounts.
- Hold regular 1x1s with team members, maintaining open and transparent communication.
- Develop and uplevel team selling abilities through consistent focus on enablement, solution selling and metric improvements. Build and refine sales runbooks and scripts.
- Assist in the continued codification of various product focused playbooks on how to connect data led insights to Cloudflare solutions that solve critical business challenges Cloudflare customers face daily.
- Maintain a funnel of new hire candidates by continuously interviewing and building a network of candidate potentials.
- Monitor access and proficiency of enablement resources and various sales tool licenses.

Requirements
- 5+ years of Sales Management experience leading sales teams at a high-growth SaaS company (Cloud security or Hyperscalers are a bonus)
- Experience developing relationships with Digital Native, highly technical customers and selling through a PLG growth model
- Experience building relationships with target partners to expand the partner ecosystem in Startups.
- Record of high performance in consistently meeting and exceeding team plan
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Track record of success in selling new products and early access solutions.
- Experience in networking across business units within an account and through M&As; multi-thread to identify, engage and close new divisional buyers.
- Demonstrable record of success and passion for acquisition and expansion tactics.
- Coaching level knowledge of Gap Selling, Sandler, Challenger, or other sales methodologies.
- Strong talent for driving consensus and support among internal and external stakeholders and champions.
Compensation
