The Senior Financial Analyst brings business acumen and commercial judgment to the Financial Performance & Reporting team. This senior analyst owns the topline revenue intelligence function, tracking, interpreting, and communicating student revenue performance, collections trends, and financial outcomes to institutional leaders. Working under the Associate Director of Financial Performance & Reporting, you will transform reconciled data into performance narratives, manage the donor and grant reporting relationship, and serve as a thought partner to academic and operational stakeholders.
This is a role for a finance professional with strong business instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to comfortably sit at the intersection of numbers and strategy. You make the data mean something to the people who need to act on it.

You will ensure that market access value chains are analyzed against the winner value chain framework thoroughly and accurately to 1) inform org resourcing decisions, 2) guide Market Access stakeholders on how to strengthen those value chains, and 3) deliver impact for smallholder farmers and especially youth and women.

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Professor of Practice to provide academic leadership in business, finance, economic, international trade and related domain areas within the school of business and for the service of the institution as a whole. The incumbent will serve as the intellectual leader and architect for the development of a suite of academic programmes in line with the needs of the Continent and the mission of ALU. The Professor of Practice will serve as an head of the ALUSB faculty, and will lead the development of a research framework appropriate to the mission, program composition, and faculty expertise of the University.
Working with all relevant stakeholders across both campuses, the incumbent will lead the accreditation and development of post-graduate programs in business, leadership, and adjacent fields in both jurisdictions, with particular urgency given to the accreditation of post-graduate programs in Mauritius.
This person is the leader of business education encompassing programme design, programme alignment and articulation, quality standards, mission alignment of business education and overall business efficacy (which includes student satisfaction). The key performance areas of the role are:

Given that the team at the School of Wildlife Conservation (SOWC) is small, each team member has a clearly designated role, but we do expect all team members to multitask and mutually support other members of the team as needed (and within reason) across the functions of the School. The team is led by an Executive Director and is focused on the following key areas:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Professional Development Courses and Consultancy will lead the development and execution of SOWC’s professional development and consultancy portfolio. The role will focus on winning, managing, and delivering contracts for professional development training and consultancy projects, as well as developing, marketing, and scaling open and bespoke courses for conservation professionals and organisations across Africa. Working closely with adjunct faculty, partner institutions, and internal and external stakeholders, the Manager will ensure that all offerings meet client needs, uphold ALU’s brand standards, and contribute to the School’s financial sustainability. As with all SOWC roles, this position will require flexibility, collaboration, and a proactive “startup” mindset.

The Impact division supports all One Acre Fund programs to generate more impact, wherever we work. We help the organization keep three core aspects of impact at the forefront of our work:
The Sustainability Lead role has two core responsibilities. First, the Lead oversees the measurement and analysis of One Acre Fund’s environmental impact, including emissions accounting and environmental and social impact assessments. Second, the Lead drives improvements in sustainability through targeted initiatives and cross-functional projects that address identified gaps. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues across our ten countries of operation and multiple functional areas, such as supply chain, logistics, and field operations, as well as coordination with external partners. We are therefore seeking a highly organized project leader who is also a strong cross-team collaborator.
The Sustainability Lead sits within One Acre Fund’s Impact Division and reports to the Senior Impact Director. The Impact Division includes several core functions, such as the central Agricultural Research & Consulting team and the Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning team. It also leads key organization-wide initiatives, including agricultural insurance, payments for ecosystem services, behavioral research, nutrition and health, emissions accounting, and environmental impact assessments.

Lead key strategic projects to reduce emissions in hot-spot areas.
Manage our Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for all products and services offered by 1AF.
