Project Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to support full-stack development initiatives in the healthcare advertising domain. The specialist will work in a SCRUM-based team and contribute to technical decisions, solution design, development, documentation, API integrations, and stakeholder communication.

• 8+ years of experience as a Full-stack Engineer;

Overview

With the growth of our iOS app, being the #18 productivity app in the App Store category and also our recent recognition as Apple's 2025 Design Award for inclusivity, we find the need for a Senior iOS Engineer to help us support the new user base as well as work on new and exciting projects to push our missing forward.   

This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

What You’ll Do

Required:

• 3+ in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar), C#, XAML — and ideally additional experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed code (.NET) and native code.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Preferred / Bonus:

• Experience with writing automated tests for UI — unit tests, integration tests, UI automation tests; familiarity with relevant testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization for desktop apps (memory usage, startup time, rendering performance, high-DPI support, responsiveness under load).
• Experience with localization/globalization, right-to-left UI support, internationalization, accessibility for multiple regions.
• Familiarity with telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, logging, and error monitoring in desktop applications.
• Previous experience in shaping CI/CD workflows, release pipelines, and deployment strategies for desktop applications.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of feature areas or modules and drive them long-term, including maintenance, refactoring, and technical debt management.

What You’ll Do

• Owning major features and working closely with our design team - take ownership of features inside the app and become responsible of delivering high quality features
• Shape the future of our Android team
• Own, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features
• Participate in discussions across different teams - Product, Design, Engineering
• Review pull requests, and support other teammates
• Handle critical issues or cope with unexpected challenges 
• Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for the QA team

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Fullstack Java Developer to help migrate existing Node.js backend services to a robust Java-based architecture. This role is ideal for someone with a strong backend focus on Java, while also being comfortable working across the stack with modern frontend technologies like React or Angular. Software Engineering Lead

The Challenge 

You will lead an operational engineering squad responsible for both frontend and backend systems across three distinct brands, ensuring reliability, scalability, and continuous delivery of customer-facing experiences. You will drive the evolution of our platforms by building new product elements and executing high-impact design and revenue experiments to optimize user engagement and conversion.

A core part of your mission will be consolidating and modernizing our overall technology stack. You will oversee the migration of legacy tools and blog platforms into a unified internal CMS built on Laravel and React, shaping it into a flexible, extensible system that supports multiple brands and use cases. This includes defining content structures, streamlining editorial workflows, and enabling rapid iteration across marketing and product teams.

In parallel, you will lead the development of new features within our customer-facing dashboards, including CLP areas, performance, SEO, and personalization. You will also take ownership of integrating and customizing multiple payment providers, ensuring seamless, secure, and regionally optimized transaction flows. Throughout, you are expected to balance experimentation with operational excellence, maintaining system stability while enabling fast-paced product innovation.

Key Responsibilities 

• Multi-Brand Platform Ownership: Lead the engineering squad responsible for the end-to-end operation of frontend and backend systems across three brands. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and continuous delivery while balancing experimentation with production stability.
• Experimentation & Growth Engineering: Drive the development of new UI components and backend capabilities to support rapid design, UX, and revenue experiments. Establish frameworks for A/B testing, feature flagging, and data-driven iteration across all brands.
• Internal CMS Evolution (Laravel + React): Own the architecture, extension, and adoption of the internal CMS platform built on Laravel and React. Lead the migration of legacy tools into this unified system, ensuring consistency, maintainability, and extensibility across use cases.
• Blog & Content Platform Consolidation: Oversee the migration of multiple blog platforms into the internal CMS. Standardize content models, improve editorial workflows, and enable scalable multi-brand publishing with strong SEO and performance foundations.
• Customer Dashboard Development: Drive the continuous improvement of customer-facing areas such as CLP dashboards. Deliver new features that enhance usability, personalization, and overall product value while maintaining high performance and stability.
• Payments Integration & Optimization: Lead the integration and customization of multiple payment providers. Ensure seamless, secure, and regionally optimized payment flows, while enabling flexibility for experimentation and business-driven adjustments.
• Operational Excellence & Delivery: Establish engineering best practices for code quality, deployment, monitoring, and incident management. Ensure the squad can operate efficiently in a high-velocity environment with clear ownership and accountability. 
• Develop new software and participate in the maintenance and enhancement of existing software applications;
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations for various components of infrastructure;
• Focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery of the company's core products;
• Contribute with innovative ideas and methods to continuously improve quality and development efficiency;
• Oversees the activity of the other developers, coordinating and coaching the web development team;

Technical Requirements (Hard Skills) 

• Next.js & React Mastery: Strong experience with the App Router, Server Components, and performance optimization for massive traffic (millions of monthly uniques). 
• PHP Ecosystem: Main focus will be on Laravel, but also on legacy applications built with CakePHP or WordPress. Hands-on experience with open-source headless CMS platforms (WordPress, Strapi, or similar) is a plus. 
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Ability to set precise tasks for DevOps and verify the integrity of deployments, proxying, and firewalling (AWS is a plus). 
• Technical SEO (optional): Deep knowledge of how headless architectures impact crawlability, schema, and dynamic sitemaps.

Java Backend Engineer

Hybrid, Bucharest, Romania

JOB OVERVIEW

The Legion application is a high-performance data-driven Java enterprise application that implements sophisticated scheduling and optimization algorithms. It also provides the necessary endpoints for our Web and mobile frontend applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a member of the team responsible for the implementation and evolution of this application. You will need to be able to write secure, efficient, enterprise-quality Java code, and have a deep understanding of the techniques and technologies that are necessary for scalability and performance. You will also need knowledge and experience with data modeling and relational databases. Our application runs on AWS, so experience with containerization and cloud deployments is desirable. We're using Springboot, Hibernate, MySQL, and JSON, so familiarity with these technologies will be helpful. Frontend experience in JavaScript and Angular and/or React is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Develop features with high quality and on-time
• Thorough understanding of product area 
• Assist with feature design along with CTO/Architect
• Develop features keeping in mind best coding practices including performance and user experience

• Test features before asking QA engineers to test
• Write unit tests
• Work with QA engineers to test the product end-to-end
• Fix incoming bugs daily: Adhere to bug resolution goals and SLA
• Be able to demo the Legion product end-to-end
• Devise robust solutions that enable product engineering teams to rapidly deliver features in a scalable and performant manner
• Design, build, and support applications from End to End.
• Make data-driven technical decisions
• Use your deep technical knowledge to debug and solve complex technical problems
• Identify and resolve ambiguities in requirements in consultation with the various stakeholders
• Contribute to the long-term team charter and quarterly planning
• Mentor others on the team, and hold a high bar for code quality and standards by conducting design reviews, code reviews, and providing feedback
• Work with QA team to make the feature as Production ready.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Strong individual contributor with the ability to research
• 3-5 years with backend technologies (Java, Spring Boot, MySQL)
• 3-5 years working on building multi-tenant SaaS applications
• 3-5 years experience with designing and building APIs
• 3+ years delivering software in a cloud-based environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Java or C++, and object-oriented design skills
• Application architecture and design patterns
• Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience in the development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
• Proven ability to lead projects from inception to production
• Strong mastery in communication skills, software architecture design, writing technical documents

Java Backend Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Design and implement: Build scalable, high-performance, and secure features for our Time & Attendance engine, including time-tracking, scheduling rules, overtime logic, and labor compliance calculations.
• Leverage AI tooling daily: Use AI coding assistants and LLM-powered tools throughout your workflow — code generation, test scaffolding, code review acceleration, documentation, and debugging — and share learnings with your team.
• Own quality: Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and collaborate on automated test suites. AI-generated code still needs rigorous human review and validation.
• Drive technical decisions: Participate actively in architecture discussions, propose solutions, and document trade-offs with clarity.
• Mentor and review: Give substantive code reviews, pair with junior engineers, and model best practices including responsible AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product Management, UX, and QA to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications and BDD scenarios.
• Troubleshoot production issues: Diagnose and resolve complex bugs in distributed, high-volume environments with urgency and care.
• Continuously improve: Identify and drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements across the platform.
• Uphold security standards: Participate in security reviews and ensure implementations comply with industry standards and internal policies.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5-10+ years of professional software development with deep expertise in Java (or C++) in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• AI tooling proficiency: Demonstrated, habitual use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Tabnine) in daily development - you should be able to describe specific workflows where AI tooling materially changed how you work.
• Backend depth: Strong command of Spring Boot, REST API design, Hibernate/JPA, and relational databases (MySQL or equivalent), including query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Distributed systems: Solid understanding of microservices architecture, asynchronous patterns, and high-volume transaction handling.
• Cloud & containerization: Hands-on experience with AWS and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Software craftsmanship: Deep familiarity with coding standards, code review practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
• Testing discipline: Proven ability to write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites - including for AI-generated code.

• AI-native workflow: You've gone beyond autocomplete — you use AI for architecture brainstorming, test generation, spec drafting, PR summaries, and are actively experimenting with agentic coding tools.
• Workforce management or HCM domain experience: Familiarity with time-and-attendance, payroll, scheduling, or labor compliance systems is a significant advantage.
• Frontend exposure: Working knowledge of JavaScript and either Angular or React.
• Leadership track record: Experience informally leading feature teams, running design reviews, or serving as a technical point of contact for a product area.
• Performance engineering: Prior work on query optimization, caching strategies, or throughput/latency improvements in high-volume applications.
• Agile fluency: Comfortable operating in fast-paced sprint cycles with evolving requirements.
• Integrity and judgment: Demonstrated ethical behavior and sound judgment, including when evaluating AI-generated outputs for correctness, bias, and security implications.
