A Sr. Software Developer (Infrastructure) that will help us build the platform and tools that help Bandwidth engineers ship better software, faster.

• Design and operate Bandwidth's AI infrastructure layer, including our LLM gateway, model routing, and cost controls, so every engineering team can experiment with AI tools safely and cheaply.
• Build and maintain the "paved road" of developer tooling and platform services that help engineers ship faster with less friction.
• Drive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, and others) by building enablement systems, prompt libraries, MCP server integrations, and internal tooling that make AI feel obvious, not optional.
• Connect AI to the systems engineers already use (Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub) so context flows to wherever work happens.
• Measure what actually matters: engineer velocity, build times, reversion rates, and real shipping outcomes. Not vanity metrics.
• Stay ahead of the curve on agentic workflows, helping teams evolve from writing every line of code to orchestrating AI systems that handle the toil.

What you need

• 5+ years of experience building and operating web services in production
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar
• Experience with platform services: CI/CD, secrets management, developer portals, internal tooling
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and the tradeoffs involved in model routing, token cost management, and AI observability
• Experience building tools or services that other engineers depend on day-to-day

Target RWE is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our Technology team and help shape the next generation of real-world evidence solutions. In this hands-on role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning systems — with a particular focus on large language model (LLM) applications. As an Applied AI Engineer on the Corporate IT Engineering team, you’ll identify where AI can create real leverage across our internal systems and operations, and build it. You’ll work inside a team that owns a broad and complex infrastructure footprint, embedding AI into the platforms and workflows that keep Bandwidth running. This is an infrastructure and systems role with a deep AI focus.

What You'll Do:

• Own and extend existing AI platforms and tooling, improving reliability, expanding capabilities, and integrating them more deeply with internal systems.
• Architect and build internal API layers and shared services that allow AI workflows and internal applications to publish, version, and retrieve outputs across the engineering ecosystem.

• As an Senior Value Engineer specializing in the Energy Sector, you are pushing the envelope in solving business-critical problems for our strategic customers across utilities, oil & gas, and renewable energy. You will be working with our most strategic energy clients, understanding their unique objectives—from grid modernization and asset lifecycle management to navigating the energy transition—and building Celonis solutions using the world’s leading Process Intelligence (PI) platform in combination with the largest AI and ML technology partners, such as Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks.
  
  With Celonis’ Process Intelligence (PI) platform, we feed operational context to AI so it understands our customers’ complex business realities (bridging IT and OT systems) and enables them to industrialize AI, unlocking real ROI on deployments at scale. You will prototype these solutions, demonstrate their value to Energy Executives, and ensure successful implementation, adoption, and value realization in order to increase the footprint of Celonis across the global energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Discovery & Solutioning: Understand energy customers' AI strategy and sector-specific challenges (e.g., predictive maintenance, outage management, supply chain resilience, or regulatory compliance). • 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements specifically within the Energy sector (Utilities, Oil & Gas, and/or Renewables). • Deep understanding of business processes native to the Energy sector (such as Asset Management, Field Services, Supply Chain, Capital Projects, or Trading) with the ability to translate high-level business needs into specific, impactful AI use cases.

• Expertise in generative AI techniques like RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning used to build high-impact use cases (e.g., automated processing of engineering documents, regulatory filings, or intelligent diagnostic chatbots).

• Solid knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (such as LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) as well as data engineering tools and technologies relevant to handling large-scale industrial data.

• Strong presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders (including C-level executives and operational leaders), whether leading technical whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience preferred.
