Relay is transforming the physical world into a searchable, actionable data asset. We’ve moved beyond "Big Radio's" analog past to build the Relay SOAR™ Platform, which treats voice and movement as the new keyboards of the enterprise. By capturing the "Human Signal," we enable frontline teams in hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, and beyond to move from reactive chaos to proactive control, driving better outcomes.
Ranked among the fastest-growing tech companies in North America, we are looking for the next generation of "Relayers" to help us digitize the final frontier of the workforce.
Why join Relay?
Ready to help us build the Intelligent System of Action?
Join us in Raleigh and let’s get LIT.
For decades, enterprise technology has focused on the 20% of workers sitting behind desks, while the 80% who power the physical economy have been left behind in an analog void. Relay is fixing the "Operational Black Hole" by providing an Intelligent System of Action (SOAR) that connects frontline teams. We are replacing disconnected legacy radios with rugged, AI-powered smart devices that run on our patented Steady Link™ network, enabling teams to communicate, stay safe, and convert voice into operational data.
As we rapidly scale and expand our enterprise footprint across Manufacturing, Steel, Food & Beverage, and Logistics, we require a highly experienced, strategic technical leader to architect, lead, and optimize our largest and most complex physical rollouts.
The Role: Your Mission
As a Senior Deployment Systems Engineer (Sr. DSE), you are the principal technical architect and quarterback for Relay’s largest, most strategic, and multi-faceted enterprise deployments. When a Tier 1 enterprise customer purchases thousands of Relay devices for a multi-site rollout, you own the technical vision, the physical infrastructure, and the overall execution strategy to ensure success.
You sit within our Solutions organization alongside Solutions Engineers (SE). While the SE secures the technical win, you design, implement, and govern the system-wide deployment. You will leverage your expertise to proactively ensure the customer's facility has the optimal power load, scalable charging infrastructure, and resilient network capacity to support our devices, and you will coordinate and set the timing of hardware delivery and software integration across multiple workstreams. Over time and as our DSE team scales, you will also mentor junior DSEs and contribute to global deployment standards.
Key Responsibilities:
About us: Relay culture, benefits & perks:
