We are currently looking for a Senior Radar FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to support our growing team. Our Radar Systems group develops, maintains, and operates advanced software for phased array radars. This role would be responsible for building, maintaining, and deploying the FPGA images we use in our in house SDRs as well as the control software to interact with the radar and drivers.

Why This Role Matters:

Your work directly impacts mission-critical radar systems that support national security, commercial space operations, and global space safety by enabling precise detection, tracking, and analysis of objects in space.

Daily work focuses on software development in the following key areas:

Xilinx Platform Ownership

• Own and maintain the Xilinx Vivado + Yocto project(s) end-to-end
• Modernize and harden the development and production environments
• Update the existing projects to build and run on current Xilinx tool versions
• Establish a reliable process to build, package, and deploy FPGA/boot images to devices (local and remote)

Testing, Verification & Reliability

• Significantly improve the FPGA verification and regression infrastructure

Embedded Software Integration (C / Rust)

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE (or related) plus 8+ years of relevant FPGA experience (or equivalent advanced degree + fewer years)
• Excellent communications skills, must be able to communicate highly technical ideas in a manner that is comprehensible to a team composed of individuals from diverse disciplines
• Strong, demonstrated experience owning production Xilinx FPGA projects (Vivado, constraints, IP integration), plus embedded Linux exposure

• Ability to take an HDL module through the full FPGA flow on an SoC platform
• Experience operating and updating Yocto/AMD EDF-based systems in the field, including remote update/deployment workflows

• Contribute to our application security program. Work with our SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling, triage and prioritize vulnerabilities, and partner with engineering teams to drive remediation. Participate in threat modeling and secure design reviews on new products and services.

As a Happiness Engineer (“HE”), you'll spend around six self-scheduled hours per day helping customers via email and live chat, with constant peer support through Slack. We're fully remote but communicate heavily – expect continuous interaction with both customers and teammates. Role Overview

As a Founding Senior Customer Engineer at Federato, you’ll be a hands-on in helping insurance carriers and MGUs realize the full power of RiskOps. You’ll partner with Sales to lead technical discovery, solution design, and demo delivery. You’ll also co-create the systems, tools, and content that drive our early SE motion.

An overview of this role

As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer at GitLab, you will work at the intersection of customer outcomes, product direction, and hands-on engineering. This role is focused on strategic accounts in the AMER region, where you will help customers adopt GitLab and the GitLab Duo Agent Platform in complex enterprise environments, including self-managed, regulated, and constrained deployments. You will guide deep technical discovery, design practical adoption paths, and build reusable solutions that help customers move from early platform use into broader CI/CD, security, compliance, and AI-enabled workflows.

The Staff Forward Deployed Engineer works closely with teams across Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, product, and engineering to solve hard adoption problems in enterprise customer environments. An overview of this role

As a Customer Success Engineer, you'll help customers get real, measurable value from GitLab after the sale by providing technical product expertise and best practice guidance. You'll be part of the customer success engineer team that delivers GitLab's On-Demand Success Tier through webinars, hands-on labs, office hours, and on-demand engagements.

This is a pooled model, so you won't be dedicated to a specific set of accounts. We're a globally distributed customer success engineer (CSE) team supporting customers in GitLab's On-Demand Success Tier. We collaborate asynchronously and stay aligned through clear documentation and shared enablement assets. We continuously improve our content and delivery based on what we learn from customer engagements.

An overview of this role

As a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer at GitLab, you will work at the intersection of customer outcomes, product direction, and hands-on engineering. This role is focused on strategic accounts, where you will help customers adopt GitLab and the GitLab Duo Agent Platform in complex enterprise environments, including self-managed, regulated, and constrained deployments. You will guide deep technical discovery, design practical adoption paths, and build reusable solutions that help customers move from early platform use into broader CI/CD, security, compliance, and AI-enabled workflows.

This is not a traditional consulting role centered on one-off delivery. Instead, you will use customer issues to create durable technical assets, shape architecture patterns, and influence upstream product and engineering decisions when field needs point to a broader solution.
