THE ROLE

As a Finance Intern within our Center of Excellence, you will transform raw data into strategic intelligence that fuels Pure’s global growth. You will partner with cross-functional leaders in R&D, Sales, and G&A to streamline financial operations and enhance decision-making accuracy. This isn't a "shadowing" role; you are here to build scalable solutions and provide high-visibility insights that directly impact our bottom line in a fast-paced, innovation-first environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive Strategic Insight: Own and execute a high-impact financial project from inception to completion, culminating in a formal presentation of your findings and recommendations to senior Finance leadership.
• Optimize Financial Operations: Build and refine sophisticated financial models and automated dashboards that increase the speed and accuracy of reporting for R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Modernize Data Workflows: Leverage tools like SQL, Python, or AI-driven chatbots to automate manual data tasks, ensuring the Finance team can pivot from data entry to high-level strategic analysis.
• Influence Business Outcomes: Synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable business narratives that help departmental heads understand their spend, ROI, and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Analytical Expertise: You possess a strong foundation in financial modeling and the ability to translate large, messy data sets into structured insights using Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization software.
• Technical Agility: You are comfortable navigating modern data environments, with an interest or proficiency in SQL, Python, database programming, or the application of AI/automation to financial workflows.
• Collaborative Communication: You have the verbal and written clarity to explain financial concepts to non-finance partners and the proactive mindset required to manage projects in a team-oriented setting.
• Academic & Professional Commitment: You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or a related field (graduating Dec 2026 or later) and can commit to 20 hours per week during the academic year.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Analyst to support the G&A organization from our Prague Finance Hub, with a focus on Corporate Functions finance. As a key member of the G&A Finance team, this role will serve as a strategic partner to Facilities and G&A leadership, bringing financial rigor, transparency, and forward-looking insight across operating expenses, capital investments, and a complex global real estate portfolio.

This individual will own OPEX and CAPEX governance, lease portfolio analytics, and monthly close, forecast cycles, annual plan, ensuring disciplined financial execution and predictable outcomes across G&A. Beyond core reporting, the role will deliver advanced spend modeling, contract and lease economics analysis, and scenario planning to inform footprint strategy, functional investment decisions, and long-range planning.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytically rigorous self-starter with strong communication and advanced modeling capabilities. By streamlining reporting, building scalable dashboards, and enhancing financial visibility, this Senior Finance Analyst will empower Facilities and Corporate Function leaders to make confident, data-driven decisions aligned with margin optimization, capital efficiency, and long-term business objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Drive Strategic Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain integrated financial models covering CapEx, lease accounting, facilities rent and CAM, and operating spend. Quantify the three-statement impact of investment and real estate decisions to support disciplined cost management, capital efficiency, and cash flow optimization. Provide visibility into the financial overview by site. Develop a centralized data lake to serve as a single source of truth for various analyses
• Lead Operational Automation: Revolutionize our reporting ecosystem by leveraging SQL, Snowflake, Python, and AI technologies to automate manual workflows, ensuring our financial processes are scalable and integrated across multiple platforms
• Direct Expense & Capital Strategy: Own the full lifecycle of CapEx and OpEx management, balancing expense targets based on current and future long range plans
• Enable Cross-Functional Decisions: Serve as a Finance business partner cross functional to Facilities, Corp Finance, BU Finance, and Cost Accounting, to support leasing agreements, maintain budget oversight, accurately reflect contract terms in financial models, and ensure adherence to purchase order governance
• Planning and Orchestration: Ability to plan and lead multiple timelines and milestones, ensuring alignment across facilities lease renewals and critical dates, while maintaining the regular cadence of financial planning, forecasting, close processes, and financial presentations

WHAT YOU BRING

• Education & Foundation Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Cost Accounting, General Ledger (GL) accounting, or data analytics roles.
• Analytical Storytelling: You possess a mastery of financial modeling and the ability to synthesize massive datasets from tools like Snowflake, SQL, or Tableau into compelling narratives that drive executive action.
• Strategic FP&A Expertise: You have a proven track record of navigating complex business-facing finance roles, specifically in designing investment frameworks or sales-incentive models within a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Systems Agility: You are highly proficient in leveraging enterprise-level financial tools (such as Anaplan, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced spreadsheet functions to build scalable, automated reporting solutions.
• Collaborative Leadership: You are a self-starter who excels at managing multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously while building strong, trust-based relationships with cross-functional global stakeholders.

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a proactive, excited and determined Senior Game Data Analyst to strengthen the World of Tanks product analytics team.

We collect all kinds of information about the player behavior and  the events in the ‘WoT universe’: from economic, financial and detailed combat data to the precise coordinates of each shot and tank movement, interface telemetry and many others. All of them are routed to a singular database and are available for analysis 24/7.

You will be working with the WoT Product Team responsible for decision-making process, with the Data Warehouse team responsible for data storage, reports system and our infrastructure, as well as 60 analytics all over the world united under Wargaming Global Analyst Network.

What will you do?

• Helping deliver important analytical insights to managers and other product teams necessary for decision making.

• Use quantitative analysis to understand how the game is played and identify impact and growth opportunities.

• Participating in analytical maintenance for features, game events and modes throughout all development and release stages:

  • Pre-Production Analytics: modeling likely outcomes and risks from implementing new features, game modes and events into the game; predict the future events, product KPIs and metrics; providing analysis of their full development cycle (from concept to release);

  • Production Analytics: developing and preparing analytical reports, metrics and methodologies for evaluating features, game modes and events in operation; looking for anomalies and insights that help increase effectiveness of the product and its parts;

• Operation Analytics: creating and supporting analytical tools and interfaces (dashboards) for rapid updates on the status of the product and its subsystems delivered to the management and the responsible teams.

• Gather and formulate requirements, conduct analytical research from producers, PMs, UX/UI and game designers, developers, QA and artists.

• Presenting the research results and filling the product analytics knowledge base to share with other teams.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years experience on a similar position.

• Understanding the principles of formalizing business tasks in research plans, as well as experience writing analytical reports and presenting their results.

• Advanced SQL knowledge.

• Experience with at least one data visualization solution (Tableau / Qlik / Microsoft Power BI, etc).

• Experience with Python/R and popular libraries for data processing and analysis.

• Great communication skills, both written and spoken, especially for non-technical audience.

• Written and spoken English (B1 and higher).

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Being prepared to learn, take in and systemize vast amounts of data within a short time.

• Experience working with Cloudera Impala / Hive, Oracle SQL, Snowflake.

• Knowledge and practical application of machine learning algorithms.
