That’s where we help. At Overstory, we use AI and advanced satellite imagery to pinpoint and prioritize vegetation risks before they materialize. Role & Team
As a Staff Engineer, you will work across multiple teams to evolve a suite of web and internal tools that enable utility companies to more effectively manage risks associated with climate change and wildfires.
We are seeking improvement in the following areas:
- Performance & Scalability: ensure that our product can handle 3x YoY growth
- Accelerate time to value of new product capabilities
- Reduce the amount of manual work required to ingest vegetation analysis into our customer facing tools
At Overstory, our Staff Engineers are hands-on technical leaders whose influence extends beyond their team either through leading cross team initiatives, making technology choices for critical aspects of our technology platform or solving for critical technical challenges within teams enabling our business to achieve our rapid scaling plans (growing 3x YoY).
This role will start off being primarily team scoped solving critical scaling challenges. There is scope to expand remit as we grow.
Time zone requirement: Europe (GMT/WET, CET, EET) and Eastern North America (NST, AST, EST)
What You'll Do
Technical Skills:
- Broad and deep understanding of system design with an ability to select the correct paradigm/technology given the situation and constraints.
- Develops a deep understanding of our business domains and how technology can be applied to drive business impact.
- Innovates and introduces new technologies or methodologies.
- Resolves complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Ownership:
- Leads cross-team initiatives or leads on architectural system design at team level
- Drives pragmatic technology choices/decisions making sensible trade offs in order to balance current and future business needs.
- Defines coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Evaluates and recommends new tools and technologies.
- Hands-on contribution
Leadership:
- Mentors and coaches engineers.
- Influences technical decisions at the organizational level.
- Collaborates with product managers and CTO to inform how technology can influence or enable the product strategy.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of working in a high growth scaleup environment
- Product minded and able to demonstrate significant impact you have had on a business through the application of technology
- Proven experience of full stack development across the following (or similar) technologies: React/Typescript, Python/fastAPI, Postgres DB, Data pipelines)
- Comfortable working in a build it, run it environment (GCP, cloud run, grafana, k8s) - or similar
- Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach engineers at all levels
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Passion for learning and staying updated with evolving technologies and industry trends
Nice To Have
- Demonstrated experience scaling large distributed architectures

Role Overview:
Netskope is seeking a high-caliber Privacy Engineering Staff Engineer to bridge the gap between legal compliance, data protection technology, and core product engineering. This is a dual-impact role: you will be responsible for the technical "Privacy by Design" controls for the Netskope platform while serving as a strategic deputy to the Global Privacy & Data Protection Officer (DPO).
As the Strategic Deputy to the Global Privacy & Data Protection Officer (DPO), you move beyond task completion to achieve high-level organizational influence.
- Global Compliance Strategy: Support the execution of a multi-jurisdictional privacy program that anticipates the rapid evolution of global data protection laws.
- Board & Audit Influence: Translate complex technical privacy risks into compelling, quantifiable narratives for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
- Risk Governance: Oversee the operational maturity of our privacy program within LogicGate, ensuring a closed-loop system of accountability, audit readiness, and incident response.
- DPIA & Rights Leadership: Act as the technical authority for high-risk Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and ensure our Data Subject Rights (DSAR) engine operates at optimal efficiency.
You will be the lead privacy architect ensuring that Netskope’s innovation is inherently respectful of data.
- Component Design Review: Lead the privacy-first technical review of every new component within the Netskope platform, engaging with engineering at the "whiteboard phase" to eliminate risks before they reach production.
- PET Implementation: Direct the integration of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) such as differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, and k-anonymity into the Netskope product suite.
- AI Governance Leadership: Hold a seat on the AI Governance Committee whilst supporting the AI Ambassador program to ensure that AI innovations are built on a foundation of responsible data use.
- Technical Data Defense: Enhance DLP, DSPM, and AI/ML-driven security within our AWS and corporate environments to set the "Gold Standard" for internal data protection.
Key Responsibilities
Product Privacy Engineering & PETs
- Architectural Oversight: Review all new component designs within the Netskope platform to ensure structural compliance with "Privacy by Design" principles.
- PET Integration: Lead the design and implementation of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) such as differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, or k-anonymity within Netskope product features.
- Early Engagement: Act as a dedicated privacy consultant to product engineering teams during the ideation phase to identify and mitigate privacy risks before code is written.
Deputy Data Protection Officer (DPO) Functions
- Regulatory Support: Support the DPO in managing multi-jurisdictional compliance as the number of global privacy laws continues to rise.
- DPIA Leadership: Conduct and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for high-risk processing activities, ensuring they meet the standard of global regulations.
- Privacy Leadership: Engagement with Netskope customers and partners on privacy and data protection concerns. Provide executive leadership to CISO, Legal and Privacy teams for some of the largest and most prestigious organizations in the world.

- AI Advocacy: Serve on the AI Governance Committee and support the AI Ambassador program, fostering a culture of responsible AI use across the organization.
Platform Management
- LogicGate Administration: Manage and optimize the privacy module within LogicGate to track risks, audits, and compliance tasks.
- Netskope Corp Tenant: Take administrative responsibility of the Netskope corporate tenant’s privacy controls, ensuring our own use of the platform is a "Gold Standard" for customers.

The Operations team at Feedzai is responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the company as a whole by transforming business processes, tools, data, and insights, while ensuring great day-to-day work experiences for all teams and departments. Within this mission, the Chief of Staff (CoS) Office acts as the central engine for organizational alignment, departmental health, and executive-level execution.
You: We’re looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to act as the primary operational lead for the CoS Office. You will drive the "operational heartbeat" of the department, ensuring that internal programs, business resilience, and cross-functional workstreams maintain momentum. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing complex initiatives, a high degree of analytical rigor, and the ability to operate with absolute discretion in a high-stakes environment.
To be successful, you must be a proactive "operator" with excellent communication skills, capable of identifying gaps in processes and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across our resilience and people frameworks.
Your Day to Day:
- Manage Operational Cycles & the People Program: Own the end-to-end management of Ops Townhalls, and Team Offsites. You will also dynamize the Ops People Program, acting as the central point of coordination for various workstreams owned by different leads to ensure consistent execution.
- Build Business Continuity & Resilience: Act as the primary lead for the Business Continuity Program (BCP). You will manage day-to-day readiness while embedding a continuous improvement approach to ensure our resilience frameworks stay effective and deeply integrated into the business.
- Perform Analysis & Support Executive Visibility: Perform hands-on data synthesis and analysis to provide the CoS Office with a clear view of organizational health. You will translate complex internal data into concise executive summaries that support the CoS and SVP of Operations in daily decision-making.
- Execute Special Projects: Lead ad-hoc, high-priority projects that cross organizational boundaries. You will provide structure to ambiguous challenges and ensure these initiatives are delivered with high quality and alignment.
- Support Extended Leadership Team (ELT) Evolution: Serve as the execution partner for the CoS on Extended Leadership Team (ELT) All-Hands and support the rollout of leadership community initiatives.
- Drive Process Efficiency & AI Integration: Identify opportunities to implement more efficient processes and systems within the CoS office and wider department. You will proactively explore and integrate AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, enhance data synthesis, and drive overall department productivity and efficiency.
You Have & You Know-how:
- 5–7 years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategic Project Management, or a CoS office role within a high-growth tech environment.
- Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Management, Economics, or a related technical specialty.
- Strong experience performing hands-on data synthesis and research; you enjoy finding the "why" behind the numbers and translating it into executive narratives.
- A logical thinker who can provide structure to ambiguous, high-stakes challenges.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on process design and continuous improvement.
- Strong interest or experience in utilizing Generative AI to improve personal and departmental productivity.
- Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English (mandatory), with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
