Senior Associate, Strategy

About the Job
Reporting directly to the EVP Strategy, you will support and contribute to the company’s work across capital formation, investor relations, communications, and commercial partnerships. The EVP covers a lot of ground — fundraising, PR, and customer and partner engagement — and you will be embedded in all of it, learning fast and producing real work from day one. This includes but is not limited to:
- Manage the EVP’s calendar, travel, and meeting logistics — and handle personal administrative tasks as needed. This is a high-trust, no-task-too-small role, and keeping the EVP’s day running smoothly is foundational to everything else
- Prepare briefing documents, talking points, and background materials ahead of meetings so the EVP walks into every room fully up to speed
- Draft presentations, one-pagers, and pitch materials in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Figma, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling decks
- Update and collaborate on financial models in Excel and Google Sheets (unit economics, scenario analyses, financing structures) and produce clean data visualizations that simplify complex information
- Draft high volumes of written communications: follow-up emails, investor updates, partner correspondence, and internal memos that keep workflows moving across many relationships
- Maintain and organize the EVP’s CRM of investors, partners, and key contacts — track engagement, flag priorities, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Support PR and communications efforts alongside internal and external communications teams, including drafting content, coordinating media and partner outreach, and contributing to social media strategy and execution
- Help with preparation, logistics, and follow-up for board meetings, investor touchpoints, and commercial partner engagements
- Attend select meetings, conferences, and events — initially in a support capacity, and increasingly as a representative of the company as you grow into the role
This is a high-agency, high-trust position on a lean team commercializing a once-in-a-generation technology. You’ll start as a hands-on contributor, doing the work yourself across a wide range of tasks -- some glamorous, some not. As the company scales, if you are excelling in your role, you will help hire another associate to whom you hand off the scheduling and personal assistance work, and step into a more senior role with real ownership of strategic relationships and initiatives. There is no upper limit on your advancement within this company.

Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or a high-growth startup in an operational or strategic role
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is a strong plus
- Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets and investor-grade presentation skills (PowerPoint, Keynote, Figma)
- Exceptional written communication; able to condense complex ideas into crisp bullets and headlines, and flex style for various audiences
- Strong affinity for, and facility with, technology, including but not limited to AI tools, CRMs, productivity software, and whatever comes next
- Demonstrated “extreme ownership” and comfort with tight deadlines, incomplete information, and senior-level scrutiny
- Experience in or strong affinity for technology-oriented, engineering-driven companies
- Bonus: familiarity with energy, AI infrastructure, data center, and/or climate tech markets
Additional Requirements
- Hybrid role based in Portland, OR. Must be willing to spend significant time in Portland (relocation assistance provided).
- Nonstandard hours, including evenings and weekends, are required. We move fast and our partners span time zones.
- Some travel on short notice to meetings, conferences, and events.
Compensation and Benefits
If hired for this full-time role, you will receive:
- Cash compensation of $125,000 - $175,000, depending on experience

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
onX is seeking a Senior Integrated Campaign Producer to drive operational excellence across high-impact, cross-functional marketing campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of multiple cross-functional Marketing, Brand, and Vertical (Hunt, Offroad, Fish, etc.) teams, enabling campaign owners to focus on strategy by building systems and processes that set campaigns up for success. This role will report to the Senior Marketing Strategic Operations Manager.
Operating Model: You will serve as the operational hub across Marketing, Brand, and Vertical teams—ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum across all campaign stakeholders. You’ll establish standardized processes while leading project management for Tier 1 campaigns across all teams, setting them up for success before transitioning project management and execution to campaign owners and creative production. You will create a consistent and repeatable operating rhythm that enables teams to execute efficiently at scale.
This role will also drive end-to-end project management for all Brand Team-led campaigns, inclusive of creative production and execution.
This role is ideal for a systems-minded operator and builder who thrives on bringing structure and process to ambiguity, improving how teams work, and delivering impact without a predefined playbook.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Integrated Campaign Producer, your essential job duties and responsibilities will be split into several distinct buckets of work:
Vertical Campaign Enablement & Process Standardization
- Build and reinforce scalable, repeatable processes for Tier 1 campaigns across all Verticals, balancing consistency with flexibility
- Partner with Vertical teams early to define timelines, stakeholder engagement, and briefing requirements within a standardized framework
- Create seamless transition of executional ownership to the Creative Producer and Vertical stakeholders post-brief, maintaining alignment without owning day-to-day execution or retrospectives
- Improve and connect workflows across Brand, Creative, and Vertical teams to increase efficiency and reduce friction
Brand Team Campaign Management and Planning
- Serve as the primary project manager for Brand team-led campaigns, leading end-to-end project management–from planning through creative execution, launch, and retrospective–while ensuring timelines, workflows, stakeholder alignment, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed
- Drive alignment across Brand, Creative, and Vertical teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective inputs, decisions, and handoffs
- Help identify when to outsource creative work, and help procure and manage external resources
- Manage Brand creative requests from other departments (e.g., HR) via the Brand requests Asana board
- Facilitate retrospectives for Tier 1 campaigns and translate insights into actionable improvements
- Support Annual and Quarterly Brand planning in partnership with Brand leadership, identifying risks, dependencies, resourcing constraints, and opportunities and helping translate strategic priorities into clear, executable plans
Tools, Technology & AI Enablement
- Partner with Brand, Verticals, Creative, and other teams to manage and optimize project management tools and technologies that support campaign execution
- Leverage AI to improve project management and marketing operations, including:
- AI-assisted brief writing and review
- Workflow automations that reduce manual work
- Exploring innovative applications of AI to increase efficiency, speed, and quality of execution
- Regularly bringing recommendations, education, and best practices into our workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Develop systems that integrate video project management into broader campaign workflows in order to scale our full suite of Creative operations
- Act as the operational hub across across teams, driving alignment, clarity, and execution across stakeholders
- Partner closely with Marketing, Strategic Operations, and Creative Production to improve workflows
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence without direct authority to move work forward
- Identify and lead new opportunities for process improvements as teams and needs evolve
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Eight (8) or more years of project management or strategic operations experience is required
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional marketing campaigns from a project management or operational lens
- Experience building or scaling processes across multiple teams or business units
- Experience building and evolving processes in ambiguous or “greenfield” environments without a defined playbook
- Strong project management skills, including timeline creation, stakeholder management, and workflow optimization
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
- Experience with and enthusiasm for using AI and emerging technologies for project management and/or Marketing operations, with a proactive, experimental mindset
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience working across multiple teams and priorities with frequent context switching

HOW YOU’LL BE COMPENSATED
onX is committed to compensating all employees fairly and equitably for their contributions. For this position, applicants can expect to make between $119,000 and $140,000 upon hire. The pay range will vary based upon experience, skills, certifications, education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, full-time onX employees are eligible for a grant of common share options with a vesting schedule and an annual bonus of 10% based on company performance.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify requirements and specifications for the development of new and established features
- Create prototypes and high-fidelity user interface designs that demonstrate new designs to developers and product managers

- Design aesthetically pleasing, usable, and accessible UI designs that conform to Esri’s design system

- Enthusiastic about working in depth at the feature level of the Dashboards application; willing to explore multiple approaches to a single solution
- Interest in data visualization and representation along with willingness to learn about design aesthetics specific to dashboards will be greatly appreciated
- Knowledge of or experience in localization (L10N) or internationalization (I18N)
- Expertise in accessibility (WCAG 2.0/Section 508 Compliance) and a strong track record of collaborating with developers to address and resolve accessibility-related challenges
- Demonstrated self-ownership and initiative in exceeding responsibilities to drive impactful outcomes for the product and team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
