The Food Systems Alliance at HelloFresh is focused on building and scaling global systems that support the entire food journey, from assortment and ingredient development to supply chain management technology. This includes key domains such as master data management, strategic procurement, applied science (covering areas like menu planning, personalization, forecasting, and operations research), supplier reliability, and inventory planning. With end-to-end ownership of critical supply chain functions, the Alliance enables efficient, consistent, and innovative solutions. This integrated approach supports faster software development, enhanced collaboration, and the delivery of scalable systems across global markets.
As a Senior Backend Engineer in our Food Systems Alliance, you will be responsible for defining, securing, and implementing technical solutions for business problems. You will look after speeding up development, decision-making, and problem-solving. You will work within your team and our neighboring teams to ensure that our efforts aim to achieve a clearer architecture and boundaries between tech teams to support autonomy. You will communicate directly with our business stakeholders and multiple tech teams supporting local markets. You will report to the Engineering Manager in the Ingredient to Product tribe. This role does not include people management responsibilities.

As a Software Engineer within the Food Systems Alliance in Supply Chain Management (SCM), you will be building and scaling the core systems that power HelloFresh’s global procurement process. You will contribute to the design and operation of distributed systems supporting automated demand forecasting and inventory replenishment across our global network, directly impacting our efficiency and sustainability. This platform uses modern technologies and data science to make crucial decisions about ingredient flow, ensuring high quality and optimal delivery for our customers. We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.
Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high-throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka (for millions of events) and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

As Director of Product, Core Markets, you will own the strategy and execution that positions Fundraise Up as the category leader in key nonprofit verticals. You’ll lead and grow a team of Product Managers, collaborate tightly with Sales, GTM, and Customer Success, and engage directly with senior nonprofit executives on complex, enterprise-scale deals. This is a hands-on, results-driven role — you will set bold vision, raise the bar on execution, and drive measurable revenue growth and market dominance.
Core Markets represent the priority verticals where Fundraise Up has established strong traction and significant growth potential — including large Tier 1 & Tier 2 nonprofits across Cause & Cure, Faith-based, and adjacent segments. What you’ll do
Manage the pipeline of procurement requests and ensure that all stakeholder teams (e.g. Legal, Information Security, Strategic Finance, etc.) conduct timely review and approval
Guide internal stakeholders through the process of submitting purchase requests and occasionally submit requests on behalf of business teams.
Manage vendor onboarding in our P2P system, collecting supplier details for proper review
Reviewing supplier external form to validate proper banking and tax information is provided
Conduct beginning to end process in contract review in partnership with Vendor Legal
Manage internal events and hotel purchase process
Be liaison between Affirm events team, Affirm’s Executive Assistants and Vendor Legal to move contract approval process along in a timely manner
In charge of urgent and high priority purchase requests
Manage all Affirm Poland purchases in partnership with Financial Partnerships
Communicate with Polish vendors and review of Polish contracts with vendor legal
Lead and implement assigned process improvement projects that will impact Procurement and broader teams at Affirm.
What we look for
You have 3-5 years of recent experience in Procurement Operations or Supply Chain Operations and Procurement Tools (preferably Zip and Netsuite)
Experience with managing urgent purchase categories and working with tight purchase deadlines
Demonstrated experience in helping improve procurement processes and implementing best practices
You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously
You are comfortable interacting with internal partners and external counterparties to solve problems

We're building an AI copilot for web testing automation. You'll own the top of the funnel: outbound, qualification, and getting leads to sit down for a conversation. Demos, onboarding, and retention are staying with the founder for now.
Phase one: Get individual Automation QAs to try the product, aiming for fast adoption and no procurement. Once we hit 20+ weekly users, we’ll move on to phase two, where we’ll shift the focus to B2B – qualified meetings with QA Leads and Engineering Managers.
Your focus in the first three months:
This role expands as your strategies deliver results. Once the user pipeline works, you can take over demos and run B2B sales end to end. From there, the natural next step is Growth Lead (funnel optimization and scaling the playbook) or Account Executive (owning deal execution).
You should have a high level of agency and be quant-minded – you live in funnel metrics, run experiments, and are comfortable saying "no" to leads that are a bad fit.
