About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to help architect and build the systems that power Redpanda’s vision for the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), while also shaping the technical culture behind them.
In this role, you will design and develop our ADP product, building on our Bring Your Own Cloud, Serverless, and Redpanda Connect offerings. The Payments Offering team is the critical pillar of our payment infrastructure at HelloFresh. We are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core payment systems that power every transaction across the organization. We own several critical backend services for the Payments Tribe within the Growth Alliance, and our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our end-to-end payment ecosystem.

The Conversions Tech area enables meal brands to achieve ambitious growth targets through a seamless and high-performing conversion funnel. You will work in a cross functional team in Conversions that builds and operates the backend systems powering customized user journeys across HelloFresh funnels. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, implement and operate scalable and fault tolerant services that enable personalization, experimentation and decisioning at scale. These systems sit behind high traffic landing pages and funnels and must be fast, reliable and resilient.
You will work closely with frontend engineers, data scientists, machine learning engineers and product managers to bring personalization logic into production and ensure it performs well under real world traffic.
