About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to help architect and build the systems that power Redpanda’s vision for the Agentic Data Plane (ADP), while also shaping the technical culture behind them.
In this role, you will design and develop our ADP product, building on our Bring Your Own Cloud, Serverless, and Redpanda Connect offerings. You will lead system architecture, develop new features, and operate ADP and Redpanda Cloud, helping us meet our 99.99% SLA. You will raise the engineering bar across the Cloud team and collaborate closely with Cloud, Core, and Platform engineering, as well as pre- and post-sales teams, to build robust, scalable systems with a strong emphasis on stability and zero-downtime upgrades.

WHAT YOU’LL Do
Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate and improve IT and business workflows while minimizing hallucinations and ensuring reliable outputs.
Implement model validation, monitoring, and fail-safe mechanisms to detect and reduce incorrect or risky agent behavior.
Architect secure data handling pipelines (ingest, storage, access controls, encryption) to protect sensitive information used by models and agents.

Integrate observability and telemetry (logging, metrics, tracing) for agents and infrastructure to enable rapid incident detection, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Build role-based APIs and interfaces that allow business and engineering teams to safely interact with agents and automated workflows.
Create onboarding, documentation, and training materials to help teams adopt agents and follow best practices for secure, low-risk usage.
Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams to define policies, access controls, and approval workflows for model deployment and data use.
Optimize infrastructure cost and reliability through capacity planning, fault tolerance, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for agent behavior and integrations.
Continuously evaluate new model architectures, tooling, and defenses to improve accuracy, reduce bias, and maintain a secure, scalable AI platform.
Define canonical schemas, metadata standards, and classification taxonomies to enable trusted decisions and secure data sharing between IT and business teams.
Create automated metadata pipelines using AI/NLP to extract, normalize, and enrich dataset context (ontology, definitions, sensitivity, lineage), and automate metadata population, semantic matching, and lineage inference for faster cataloging.
Develop AI agents and tooling that summarize dataset health, recommend joins/transformations, infer lineage, and route remediation tasks to owners.
Measure and report on adoption, data health, and governance maturity; iterate standards and tooling based on feedback and telemetry.
Mentor peers and evangelize best practices to raise organizational data maturity and enable reliable AI/analytics at scale.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed above and is determined based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. This compensation is composed of a 80/20 split between base salary and variable pay (where the base salary represents 80% of the OTE range above). Eligible employees may earn variable compensation if they meet 100% of their performance targets. Actual earnings may be higher if targets are exceeded or lower if targets are not fully met.
This position is not eligible for consideration for an equity/RSU grant.

Kimchi is the AI platform inside CAST AI. We started by helping companies run LLMs on their own Kubernetes clusters - now we're building the execution layer where agents do real work.
Our Infrastructure today: multi-model inference (MiniMax, Kimi, GLM-5, Nemotron, DeepSeek) with intelligent routing, an OpenAI-compatible API, and deployment flexibility from our GPUs to your VPC. The inference layer is the foundation. Why harness engineering matters here
OpenAI and Anthropic ship models. They also ship one harness each - the scaffolding that turns a raw model into something that can plan, execute, recover, and complete work. We ship a different kind of harness: one built for cost-conscious, long-horizon autonomy, running on inference infrastructure we control end-to-end.
A decent model with a great harness beats a great model with a bad harness. We've watched this play out. The gap between what today's models can do and what you see them doing is largely a harness gap - and that gap is where we operate.
What you'll build
The ratchet.
Every time our agent makes a mistake, we engineer a solution so it never makes that mistake again. That means hooks that enforce constraints the model "knows" but forgets: pre-commit lint checks, permission gates, context compaction before the window fills. Success is silent, failures are verbose.
Long-horizon execution.
Our harness is built around spec-driven autonomy: meta-prompting, fresh context per task, worktree-per-slice git strategy, automatic replanning, crash recovery, stuck detection. We're implementing Ralph loops - when the model tries to exit, we intercept and reinject the goal into a fresh context. The agent reads state from disk and continues. Multi-session, multi-day work, without context rot.
Planner/executor splits.
Planning with a reasoning model, executing with a fast one, evaluating with a third. Separating generation from evaluation beats self-verification because agents reliably skew positive when grading their own work.
The harness surface.
CLI, TUI, MCP integration, sandboxed execution, telemetry. Our AGENTS.md is short - every line traces to a specific thing that went wrong. TypeScript on the surface, Go where it matters.
Memory and context.
Moving agents off laptops, giving them state that survives across sessions, managing context so information lands where it's actionable. Compaction, tool-call offloading, progressive skill disclosure.

What’s Exciting About the Role
Verifone is seeking a Kafka DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. This is an operations-first role with a strong emphasis on scripting, automation, and pipeline development. You’ll be hands-on with day-to-day Kafka operations, reliability, tuning, and high availability for payment gateway solutions that process billions of transactions annually on-prem and in AWS Cloud. Beyond keeping the lights on, you’ll play a key role in building the data pipelines—of which Kafka is a core component—that power Verifone’s new AI, machine learning, and analytics initiatives. About the Role
Veeam is looking for a Senior Data Security & Privacy Engineer to own privacy-by-design and data protection engineering for the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) data plane on Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will be the dedicated security and privacy engineering partner for VDC, responsible for how customer data is classified, ingested, encrypted, stored, processed, accessed, monitored, retained, and deleted across VDC workloads.
This is a product security and enablement role: you will build shared security/privacy services, guardrails, and paved roads that make secure, compliant defaults easy for product teams to adopt. You will ship code via pull requests, provide reference implementations and self-service tooling, and measure adoption to drive consistent protections across the data plane.
