We’re looking for a Real-Time Firmware Engineer who wants to work on challenging, meaningful problems at the intersection of hardware, software, and clean energy.
This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be helping build a new product from the ground up and contributing directly to firmware that powers electrification, grid resiliency, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
If you’re someone who enjoys deep technical work, solving real-world problems, and seeing your code move from concept to deployed product, this role is built for you.

The Sr. Customer Solutions Engineer is a customer-facing technical role responsible for enabling the successful integration of FORT products into customer robotic systems and platforms. This engineer will serve as FORT's primary technical presence at customer sites, guiding integration design, resolving implementation challenges, and ensuring customers achieve full functional and safety compliance with FORT's control systems.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility position requiring strong technical depth, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to operate independently in fast-paced industrial environments.

About the Role:
As an AI Solutions Engineer you will sit at the intersection of cutting-edge AI infrastructure and the world’s most ambitious AI teams. The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Position Summary:
The Field Engineer will serve as engineering support for our sales team assisting with construction management and after-sales field support. This role will require frequent travel to job sites throughout a specific territory but will be based at our sales office in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The position will include both field and office work.
Position will involve extensive formalized training plus work under a mentor, developing skills and gaining an understanding of CaptiveAire products, troubleshooting, and application engineering processes etc.
