About the role:
As an intern as Dashlane, you will be part of the Analysis & Contextual Experience team. You will work on the AI Data Loss Prevention (DLP) project, a pioneering industry solution that creates a frictionless security layer for tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. Propose and implement new features, capabilities, tooling, visualizations, or even full products across our stack. We encourage our engineers to look beyond their immediate team for missed opportunities, and to speak up when they identify one.
Establish and evolve our React component library, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment with our visual design standards across multiple front-ends.
Collaborate with others beyond your team and share knowledge with the wider frontend community at Helsing. Contribute to establishing our frontend engineering standards. Build or adopt tools that help enforce these standards, or make our frontend engineers more efficient in a different way.
Become a mentor, find a mentee, and help support and develop our interviewing pipeline. The people make or break the company, and we want as many engineers as possible to be part of fostering and growing the organisation.
Share your experience and technical know-how with other Helsingers. We host tech talks, get together for smaller "let's learn together" groups, run topical office hours or reading groups (e.g., on React or TypeScript), etc. to help each other get better with time.
Connect with, understand, and make changes to backend systems as needed. Our backends are primarily written in Rust, and you'll need to be comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases to unblock yourself and improve integrations. Rust experience is not a prerequisite to this role, though - you can learn that over time as needed.
Present your work at our weekly demo sessions. We want engineers to come together around what they are working on and to feel like they are not endlessly squirrelling away at something that doesn't matter. To that end, we host (and actively work towards) demo sessions that allow early feedback, celebration of progress, and a better shared understanding of everything that goes on at Helsing.
Can write legible, maintainable, and performant frontend code - ideally using TypeScript and React.
Are experienced with APIs and server-client communication like REST and GraphQL.
Have experience with running a live production software.
Are passionate about staying on top of current development best practices, libraries and frameworks.
Are comfortable working with unfamiliar backends, ideally with some exposure to languages like Rust.
Communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.

Significant recent experience with React.

The Team
As a Front-end Engineer at Standard Notes, you will play a crucial role in evolving our platform into the leading secure note-taking, knowledge management, and productivity solution. We are seeking a senior engineer who is passionate about client-side architecture, system design, and usability, and who thrives in a highly collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, API teams, and fellow engineers, driving data-informed decisions to deliver a seamless and secure user experience.
Current Projects:
The Standard Notes team is focused on building a comprehensive suite of tools to help users manage their knowledge and boost productivity while maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy. Recent efforts include advancing editor capabilities, improving data organization features, and optimizing cross-platform sync. You’ll work on architecting features such as encrypted search, tagging systems, advanced note formatting, and seamless integrations—all built with React and TypeScript and secured with end-to-end encryption.

The Account team owns the capabilities across the full user lifecycle - from acquisition and account creation, through protection, recovery, and user management, to retention and end-of-life. We're building out the Customer Success Engineering team at Postman, and we need business-minded engineers who can solve real problems at scale. You will partner closely with Customer Success Managers and own the “How” of technical solutioning. This is a consultative role that requires both depth and versatility. This is no support role; you'll be the technical architect of Customer Success, turning complex and nuanced challenges into repeatable solutions that benefit our entire enterprise customer base.
As a CSE, you consult on the technical implementation path. When a customer needs to get from point A to point B, you figure out how to make it happen - whether that means architecting workflows within Postman, guiding integrations, or creating pragmatic workarounds when the product doesn't quite fit. A key part of this role is turning individual solutions into reusable assets that shorten time to value for future customers. We don’t believe in reinventing the wheel each time.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, systems thinking, and the ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable implementation steps.
You need 6-8+ years in a technical customer-facing role and a portfolio of “built things”.
Customer Success Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Account Manager… the title doesn't matter as much as the hands-on technical work that solves real problems for customers.
