We are looking for a proven TPM with leadership and expertise in silicon device development that will  focus on the Quantum Processor Devices. You will own the new product programme execution for silicon device development within our quantum computing roadmap, will be responsible for the successful execution of new product development programs: translating complex technical work into clear plans, measurable milestones, and predictable delivery. As a graduate at HR Wallingford, you will have the opportunity to work in our Maritime and Ships Division. You will work amongst a team of specialist engineers and scientists who are experts in their field, working on major projects worldwide.

The role in the Maritime and Ships group will be based in Wallingford and will involve working in our UK Ship Simulation Centre, our offices, as well as our physical modelling hall. The role will include the following tasks:

• Operating the UK Ship Simulator as part of the simulation team running studies to assess port design for the safe navigation of vessels.
• Working on mooring assessments with the use of our dynamic mooring analysis tools to ensure safe mooring of ships at berth
• Operating scale physical models
• Data processing, analysing an reporting results to enable them to be presented to clients

About you

You will be a graduate, or due to graduate in summer 2026, with a degree in engineering, ship science, a numerate discipline, or another physical science related to coastal environments (such as Oceanography or Geography). We will also consider applicants with equivalent professional experience relevant to the role. You will have strong numerical and organisational skills, and knowledge of ships, shipping, or boating will be a significant advantage

Many of our physical models are large and the role involves tasks such as carrying, moving, or assembling materials for physical model construction. We will make reasonable adjustments to support applicants in performing these duties. As a team player you will enjoy the challenge of working in a collaborative and rewarding environment.

This role brings clear ownership and consistent engineering practices to that ecosystem: unifying the toolchain, standardising behaviour and distribution, and improving maintainability so other teams can confidently adopt, extend and enjoy using the tools.
• Unifying and standardising existing tools into a coherent toolchain with consistent UX, behaviour, and quality bars.
• Building and maintaining reliable CLI tooling used on laptops for robot and fleet operations (configuration, access, modification, validation).
• Working with partner teams to deliver web UI tooling where appropriate, ensuring consistent workflows and shared interfaces.

About the Role

At Dexory, our autonomous robots are at the heart of what we do. We design, build, and test them in-house at our Wallingford facility, and now we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Assembly Technician to join our electro-mechanical team. This is a practical, workshop-based role where you’ll be assembling and commissioning robot subsystems and full robot builds to the highest standards. This role will be onsite 5 days a week, and a full UK driving licence is ideal for this role.

Your work will mostly often  be divided between sub-system and robot assembly.

Assembly of sub-systems

• Assist in the Assembly of complete robots
• Contribute to research and development projects
• Support the assembly process through various continuous improvement projects
• Support the wider business as required

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working in a technical function; both autonomously and as part of a team. Experienced in manual build and assembly processes of complex, high precision mechanical, and electrical systems

• Experience inspecting, testing  and signing off for production completed sub-systems
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
