The Role 

As a Production Tech, you’ll be an essential part of the process of turning raw cannabis flower into our beautiful line of medicated products. Under the guidance of the management team, you will produce, package, and handle products, perform inventory duties, adhere to compliance requirements, and keep safety as your top priority while working daily in our facility. Responsibilities 

• Deliver on production goals, while focused on safety and quality
• Produce product per recipes and SOP’s, maintaining high quality standards
• Package product into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Ensure all standards for processing procedures and laboratory protocols are followed
• Compliance with local and state regulations
• Adherence to quality control methods throughout entire process
• Documentation of manufacturing methods are created and maintained
• Electronically convert packaged products in the state traceability system
• Manage time efficiently to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
• Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the facility with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift
• Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and Windows based operating software
• Use independent judgment regarding product processing, keeping quality and goals in mind

Qualifications      

• High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred  
• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing, food processing, warehousing, and/or inventory preferred      
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered     
• Must be able to work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, and technique
• Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by GTI
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences  
• Ability to perform monotonous tasks with great efficiency without losing qualities
• Must be able to follow basic instructions and accept constructive criticism
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform reaching, grasping, bending, stooping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.
• Work involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil).

The construction of fairlife's manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750k sq ft, greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife's next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. 12 Hour Nights: This is a night shift position, with hours from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off. Entry level position that provides key support for the Quality Department including: water testing, raw milk testing, raw and pasteurized load out testing, Finished Product testing, microbiological testing, chemical titrations, and work-in-process testing. responsibilities:

• Ability to operate lab testing instrumentation correctly. Testing includes moisture/solids, protein, fat and pH. Technicians will be responsible for understanding microbiological plating, Foss analytical equipment, pH meter and other laboratory instrumentation as needed.
• All instrumentation is to be operated in a safe, efficient, and sanitary manner.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a NYS milk receiver, Appendix N and or Phosphatase License.
• Ensures raw milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements
• Perform testing and documenting of bulk product loadouts.
• Perform daily quality line audits, evaluations and testing on plant floor as assigned.
• May be required to perform sensory evaluations on all finished products.

• Follow all safety, work, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and GLP’s rules.
• Ensure verification of approved incoming raw milk producers. May be required to be PMO certified for raw milk sampling and antibiotic residue screening.
• Assists with state and federal screening inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Through this role, the AMC ECC Nursing Services will: 

• Deliver exemplary, coordinated nursing and technical patient care aligned with AMC’s mission and core values.

• Serve as a working supervisor, providing direct clinical support as an LVT approximately 60% of the time, delivering patient care while mentoring and coaching staff in real time.
• Monitor and support the consistent delivery of high-quality nursing and technical care.

• Oversee ordering, maintenance, and inventory management for patient care equipment, medications, instruments, and supplies, ensuring readiness and compliance with sterilization and maintenance standards.

In our Integrative and Rehabilitation department, Patient Care Assistants work alongside out veterinary specialists during clinic hours, obtaining medical histories from pet parents, taking notes for medical records, assisting in patient exams, obtaining vital signs, and assisting LVTs with laboratory sampling and performing in-house laboratory tests. These Patient Care Assistants also participate in patient rounds and assist our veterinary technicians in preparing patients for advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like endoscopy, surgery, oral surgery, advanced imaging CT/MRI, and more!

Licensed Veterinary Technician working in Internal Medicine (IM) performing Dialysis must be able to perform at a high level of practice with minimal supervision. The Perioperative Clinical educator is part of the clinical education team with a primary focus on training OR assistants and LVTs in all phases of perioperative care. The Perioperative educator will focus on mentorship, curriculum development, lecturing, and implementation of an ongoing continuing education program.

The Perioperative Clinical Educator works in an LVT capacity approximately 60% of the time and oversees the onboarding, assessment, and clinical education of all staff working within the operating room at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center. The perioperative clinical educator will adhere to all policies and procedures as they relate to the safe practice of central sterilization, processing, proper use and maintenance of all surgical and anesthetic equipment.

Minimum Qualifications Desired

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support clinical education team in all facets of perioperative care

• Take basic patient vitals (TPR, weight) and perform pre-operative assessments as directed.
• Collect and prepare samples for basic laboratory testing (fecal, UA, cytology prep, etc.).
• Gather and input patient history and surgical request information, including follow-ups for research or educational cases as directed by doctors.
• Assist with surgical inventory maintenance, restocking, and tracking expired or missing items.
• Support the cleaning and turnover of surgical suites and patient prep areas.

The Katharine and William Rayner Interventional Radiology (IR) and Endoscopy (IE) Suite is the first facility of its kind, offering complete interventional capabilities for veterinary patients. Well established in human medicine, these minimally invasive procedures provide unparalleled precision in the treatment and diagnosis of complex medical conditions. The IR / IE team is co-led by Drs. Chick Weisse and Allyson Berent, who have pioneered the use of these lifesaving procedures in companion animals.

IR / IE Veterinary Technicians provide anesthesia for these cutting-edge procedures, working alongside our highly skilled technicians and our board-certified anesthesiologist. The Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology Service is critical to the lifesaving work we do at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, providing timely diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning of diseases in companion animals. As a Diagnostic Imaging technician, you’ll operate our computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to obtain quality images for our radiologists and other board-certified specialists across the hospital.

Diagnostic Imaging technicians work together as a team to provide the highest quality care to our patients. While one technician is scanning and capturing images, another technician functions as a primary anesthetist and monitors the patient. Our technicians are excellent communicators and collaborators who work with multiple departments at AMC and coordinate multiple imaging procedures each day. We also occasionally get special visitors from local zoos and aquariums that require our advanced imaging services to better help the animals in their care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional and compassionate care for our patients from admission through discharge
• Provide anesthesia support and patient recovery for patients of all ASA levels undergoing diagnostic imaging
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Diagnostic Imaging modalities (CT and MRI) and anesthetic equipment
