About the Position 

We’re seeking a Document Control Lead to support a large-scale aviation redevelopment program delivered within a complex public-sector infrastructure environment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant project documentation while also supporting the development, implementation, and standardization of program-level document control procedures, protocols, governance materials, etc.  

This is a long-term, full-time, hybrid position (4 days per week onsite subject to change based on project requirements) location in Queens, NY. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Support implementation and maintenance of program-wide document control protocols and standards. 
• Maintain accurate document naming conventions, metadata tagging, version control, and coding structures in alignment with project and program requirements. 
• Coordinate intake, processing, tracking, distribution, and archival of controlled documents including RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other project records. 
• Track deliverables and support coordination of document reviews between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders. 
• Prepare and maintain document control reports, logs, transmittals, and tracking dashboards. 
• Perform quality checks on document submissions to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures. 
• Support document retrieval activities for audits, executive reporting, project closeout, and stakeholder requests. 
• Provide user assistance and troubleshooting support within enterprise document management systems such as SharePoint and other EDMS platforms. 
• Support development and maintenance of document control governance materials including procedures, protocols, management plans, and Work Instruction Documents. 
• Assist with standardization and continuous improvement of document control workflows across projects and teams. 
• Support alignment of document control practices with program requirements, contractual obligations, and project closeout expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of document control, or similar heavy civil infrastructure project role, experience on large, complex, heavy civil infrastructure projects.  
• Experience managing document versioning, metadata tagging, naming conventions, and controlled document workflows. 
• Experience supporting document control processes for RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and project correspondence. 
• Demonstrated experience preparing governance documentation such as procedures, protocols, management plans, guidance documents, or Work Instruction Documents. 
• Experience supporting enterprise document management systems such as SharePoint, eBuilder, Aconex, ProjectWise, Procore, Unifier, or similar platforms.  
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 skills (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Master's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or project management.   
• Experience supporting aviation, transportation, transit, or public agency capital improvement programs. 
• Experience supporting multi-project or program-level document control environments. 
• Familiarity with FAA, NEPA, or aviation-related regulatory documentation environments.  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software. 

Compensation Details 

Expected Salary: $90k-$140k/year ($45-$67/hour). About the Positions 

We’re seeking Project Controls Analysts (Cost and Data Visualization) at multiple levels to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programs, including highways, roads, bridges, transit (rail and bus), aviation (international airports), and water projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. 

These roles sit at the intersection of project controls and modern data analytics. Depending on level and experience, responsibilities may span cost control, financial tracking, and schedule awareness, combined with advanced data structuring and visualization capabilities. Across all levels, the focus is not just on building dashboards, but on working within active programs to help teams understand what the data is actually telling them and where performance is trending. 

Team members support cost and financial oversight across publicly funded programs (USDOT, FAA, FTA, and state DOTs), contributing across the full reporting lifecycle. This may include partnering with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, integrating and validating data from multiple systems, structuring datasets, and developing dashboards and reports that support project execution, program controls, and executive decision-making.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:  

Project Controls and Program Analytics 

• Develop dashboards and reports that support cost, schedule, forecast, progress, change, and performance analysis. 
• Create reporting solutions for project teams, program leadership, and executive stakeholders. 
• Support analytics related to: budget versus actuals; forecast trends; cost and schedule variance; cash flow and commitments; change management; portfolio and program performance; risk and exposure indicators. 
• Help translate project controls data into practical, decision-ready outputs. 

Cost Control and Financial Oversight 

• Monitor actual costs vs. budget and analyze variances across multiple funding sources. 
• Implement cost control procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations. 
• Prepare cost reports and documentation required by agencies such as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and State DOTs. 
• Collaborate with scheduling, procurement, and engineering teams to align cost data with project milestones. 
• Support earned value management (EVM) and integrate cost and schedule performance metrics. 
• Identify cost-related risks and support mitigation planning. 
• Evaluate cost impacts of change orders and scope modifications.

Data Integration and Management 

• Extract, organize, and validate data from client and internal systems, including PMIS platforms, ERP systems, scheduling systems, and operational/financial source systems. 
• Support the design and maintenance of data pipelines using SQL, APIs, and Python-based workflows. 
• Prepare data for reporting through cleansing, transformation, and modeling. 
• Contribute to scalable data structures that support repeatable reporting and analytics delivery. 

Dashboard and Report Development 

• Design and build user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visual analytics primarily in Power BI. 
• Develop views tailored to different audiences, including executive, management, and operational users. 
• Use wireframes and prototypes to align reporting design with stakeholder needs. 
• Incorporate best practices in layout, usability, filtering, navigation, and documentation. 
• Support paginated and presentation-ready reporting where required. 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

• Gather and document business requirements from internal teams and external clients. 
• Facilitate conversations that clarify reporting goals, success criteria, and data availability. 
• Present reporting concepts, draft dashboards, and iterative updates for stakeholder review.

Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

About the Role

We’re scaling quickly, and data is one of our most important strategic levers for unlocking growth and improving patient outcomes. As a Data Analytics Lead, you'll own end-to-end analytics within a business function—shaping our data roadmap, bringing structure to ambiguous problems, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the organization.

This role blends analytics engineering and strategic insights: you’ll be responsible for building clean, scalable data models and pipelines, and surfacing clear, actionable insights that accelerate our impact. As one of our early hires focused on analytics at Nourish, you’ll help define our long-term vision for data and collaborate closely across our Operations, Engineering, Product & Design teams.

Our data team is fully based in NYC and goes into the office 2-3 days a week, and while we don't have any required number of days in office, we're looking for people who would be excited to be part of that culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full analytics stack for a business-critical function: Take full ownership of the analytics workflow—from raw data to models, dashboards, and insights
• Deliver high-impact insights: Partner closely with business stakeholders to proactively identify and lead analyses that answer key strategic questions, uncover growth and efficiency levers, and shape team priorities and roadmaps
• Build dashboards that drive action: Design intuitive dashboards for a broad range of stakeholders that deliver clarity and enable fast decision-making
• Build and maintain a robust data foundation: Partner with Engineering to validate and optimize pipelines, ensuring our data infrastructure is accurate, scalable, and supports a trusted single source of truth
• Champion a data-first culture: Guide teams to interpret and act on data, write clear documentation, and lead by example in driving evidence-based decisions
• Drive scientific decision-making: Use experimentation data, forecasting, and predictive analysis to inform forward-looking product and business strategy

We’d Love to Hear From You If You...

• Have 4–8 years of experience: You’ve owned analytics for a business function or product area, ideally at a fast-paced, high-growth company
• Bring deep domain expertise in analytics engineering: You write clean, performant SQL, have hands-on experience with tools like dbt, Fivetran, and Metabase or Looker, and have a strong grasp of the fundamentals of data modeling, ETLs, and infrastructure
• Are curious, strategic, and outcome-oriented: You proactively shape the right questions, translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, and balance speed with depth to drive clear, high-impact decisions across the business
• Are a builder who thrives on ownership and impact: You take pride in designing clean, scalable systems from scratch, and you’re excited to take end-to-end ownership—filling gaps, creating structure, and becoming the go-to person others rely on for clarity
