Legend Biotech is seeking MES Engineer as part of the Manufacturing Excellence team based in Raritan, NJ.
Role Overview
The MES Engineer will be part of Manufacturing Excellence team reporting to the Manufacturing Execution Systems Lead and will be responsible for EBR development and administration at the Raritan site to support production processing while liaising with other functions including but not limited to Tech Support, Process Improvement, Validation, Supply Chain, Operations, QA, Reg CMC, and IT. This individual will support electronic batch record (EBR) updates and system improvements, support applicable process and facility updates, and support qualification activities associated with MES (PAS-X).
Key Responsibilities
- Support eBR development, modeling, and deployment in MES
- Coordinate with other departments to gather user requirements, guage effort, and deliver robust, right first time EBR designs.
- Participate in design testing, release planning, and demos with partners.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert of MES for CAR-T and site initiatives requiring MES enhancements.
- Coordinate MES updates with other Supply Chain Systems (ERP, eLIMs, etc.).
- Coordinate and execute MES validation activities according to the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. commissioning test Plans (CTP), Installation/Operational Qualification (IOQ).
- Define standardizations and update documentation (e.g. SOPs, WIs, Technical & Design Specifications, and Qualification Protocols) with alignment to Global Procedures.
- Act as a Site MES SME to support Quality Investigations, Corrections, and QMS records.
- Build the Site Readiness of MES for FDA and/or Other Regulatory Audits / Inspections.
- This individual is responsible for the training of Manufacturing Excellence on MES utilization and ensuring that Manufacturing Excellence properly assesses updates and impact.
- Key Relationships: establish key stakeholder relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required. Demonstrated experience translating business needs to system requirements. Cell/Gene Therapy cGMP manufacturing and project planning experience preferred.
- PAS-X experience required.
- Provide technical expertise of Change Control process as well as oversight of the MES team to ensure smooth implementation of system enhancement activities.
- Accurately and reliably gauge task effort and plan work to meet project timelines
- Work closely with the development and MS&T organization to ensure translation of changes from concept to implementation, building long term implementation and support plans.
- Ability to work independently and successfully, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, integrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectively. Must be able to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic, growing environment.
- Provide technical recommendation and limitations associated with MES functionality in the evaluation of potential process changes for effectiveness, value, risk, and priority.
- Drive the implementation of MES enhancements that would provide reduction in COGs, and increase throughput, capacity, and quality compliance.
- Work cross-functionally across Technical Operations and interface with IT to drive the design and implementation of new system updates for cell therapy development and manufacturing.
- When necessary, support studies related to process improvement and implementation of new manufacturing execution system technologies.
- An ability to build strong partnerships and effectively integrate with cross functional collaborators to drive projects/programs forward in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to lead as a change agent to promote flexibility, creativity, and accountability.

Legend Biotech is seeking a Sr. Operational Excellence Engineer as part of the Technical Operations team based in Raritan, NJ.
Role Overview
This position will be responsible for driving the operational excellence / continuous improvement program at the Raritan cGMP Clinical and Commercial Cell Therapy Manufacturing plant. This individual will lead complex, cross-functional continuous improvement projects with support from various site functions to support strategic and tactical objectives.
The individual will be responsible for owning, driving and delivering safety, quality, delivery and cost saving and/or efficiency improvements, ensuring alignment in support of the overall objectives and priorities of the plant. The role will require demonstrated lean leadership, expertise in disciplined problem solving and effective continuous improvement in a cGMP environment. This is a highly visible role requiring communication, coordination and collaboration across cross functional partners and with site leadership.
This role will report to the Lead, Operational Excellence Execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for identifying and, with the support of functional areas and the Operational Excellence team, executing on a Lean and Continuous Improvement strategy that enables the site to achieve it’s SQPDC objectives.
· Executes the defined continuous improvement program through the use of lean and six sigma methodologies such as DMAIC, root cause problem solving, daily management system (tier process), leader standard and standardized work, visual tools, PDCA, Kanban, pull systems, SMED, pareto, FMEA, A3 thinking, time studies, poke yoke, value stream/process mapping and others.
· Reports progress updates of programs and projects to various levels of leadership and key stakeholders.
· Operates as the Lean Coach for the Raritan site, mentoring Lean Practitioners and leadership to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.
· Leads, facilitates and teaches others to facilitate and participate in kaizen events and increase continuous improvement skills.
· Applies and teaches change management methodology in all aspects of the plant operational excellence efforts.
Requirements
· B.S. in STEM related field required. M.S. in STEM related field preferred or desirable.
· Minimum 10+ years of experience with a B.S. or 8+ years of experience with a M.S leading and supporting continuous improvement efforts and/or Kaizen programs in a manufacturing environment.
· Driven to completion numerous quantifiable, improvements in SQPDC pillars within multiple site functions (Production, Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, QA, QC, etc.).
· Trained in lean and six sigma methodologies required. Six Sigma Black Belt (with projects) preferred. Certification by reputable 3rd party organizations (i.e. ASQ, Society of Manufacturing Engineers) preferred.
· Routine application of Lean and Six Sigma problem solving tools and techniques to drive substantial business results.
· Superior knowledge and demonstrated execution of continuous improvement and lean tools and techniques.
· Proficiency in Change Management and Communication in a highly matrixed environment.
· Advanced Proficiency with Excel – Pivot Tables, etc.
· Proficiency with Process Mapping Software – Visio, etc.
· Advanced Proficiency with statistics and data analysis in a manufacturing setting and Statistical Analysis Software – Minitab , JMP, etc.

Role Overview
The Associate Facility Engineer will support the operation, maintenance, and qualification of equipment and systems that enable a Cell Therapy manufacturing facility. This person will assist in equipment monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting activities under the guidance of more senior engineers. The role requires technical curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. This individual will be part of the CAR-T Equipment team in support of clinical and commercial manufacturing as well as facility improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for equipment and process support installations.
- Assist in maintaining reliability and compliance through preventive maintenance programs and equipment monitoring.
- Learn to recognize performance trends, document observations, and propose basic improvements that enhance reliability, safety, and quality.
- Support the development of maintenance and calibration records, work instructions, and SOPs within the Quality Management System.
- Participate in root cause investigations, CAPAs, and change controls by gathering data, preparing documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, Operations, and Validation.
- Work with technical equipment data and documentation to support analyses of the maintenance process and provide input to the Maintenance Manager.
- Help ensure that preventive maintenance and calibration activities are completed and recorded on time.
- Assist with equipment tracking, asset management system updates, and vendor communication under supervision.
- Contribute to improvement projects or new equipment introductions by supporting data collection, documentation, and basic technical evaluations.
- Interact with external service providers and support internal teams to ensure timely execution of service activities.
- Have the authority to make decisions related to technical direction, methodologies, approaches and product development processes. You can also make decisions related to project execution, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation approved by the engineering manager. Higher-level approvals are required for those related to significant batch impact, or elevated resource allocation as directed by engineering manager.

The Role
The Data Center Infrastructure Engineer will lead on-site delivery and deployment of hardware in new locations. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise activities from shipment arrival through full operational readiness, ensuring that servers, storage, networking, and supporting systems are installed and functioning according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination
-Own the hardware deployment plan for new sites, aligning timelines, scope, and resources with project stakeholders. Verify all pre-deployment requirements (racks, power, cooling, connectivity) are met.
On-Site Delivery & Installation

-Work closely with vendors, contractors, and local staff during the installation phase.
Quality & Readiness
-Conduct functional checks, acceptance tests, and troubleshooting to confirm all systems operate correctly. Document installation steps, asset data, and lessons learned for future rollouts. Establish and maintain best practices for safe, efficient hardware deployment.
Collaboration & Reporting
-Act as the single point of contact on site for deployment activities, providing clear updates to project managers and leadership. Support transition of deployed hardware to operations teams for steady state management. Contribute feedback to improve hardware design and deployment playbooks.
Requirements:
-5+ years experience in data center, hardware, or IT field delivery roles.
-Strong knowledge of server, storage, and network installation practices (racking, cabling, power, cooling).
-Proven track record coordinating deployments across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
-Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Willingness to travel frequently (sometimes at short notice).
Preferred Experience:
-Experience with GPU/HPC or high-density computer environments.
-Familiarity with change management, asset tracking, and quality assurance processes.

We are seeking two QA Engineers - Online Banking (level II and Senior) to join our Online Banking and Mobile Banking teams. The level/title will be determined throughout the interview process based on skills/experience in relation to the role. You will contribute to developing test cases, building automation, and performing testing on the services and applications that make up Cross River's COS platform. The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, and scalable services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to perform manual and automated testing across Online Banking and Mobile Banking applications
- Contribute to building and maintaining test automation across critical business domains
- Participate in planning, triage, and prioritization of testing activities
- Write and execute test cases for functional, regression, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused culture within the team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation
- Working knowledge of C#; experience with Specflow/Reqnroll is a plus
- 1+ years of experience with SQL
- 1+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and communication skills

Job Scope:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for administration and management of the site’s automation systems, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, PLCs, notification systems and computerized QC Lab instruments. The scope of the responsibilities includes the initial installation, ongoing maintenance, periodic back-up, change control, validation, and retirement of systems.
The incumbent works cross-functionally with internal departments including Information Technology, Manufacturing, Facilities & Engineering, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance, as well as external resources/vendors to maintain the site’s automation systems. The incumbent supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and fulfill system requirements and improve the quality of automated processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Area Managers, System Owners, and System Users to ensure successful onboarding, use and retirement of automation systems.
• Develop appropriate Validation Protocols, Reports, and Lifecycle documents.
• Execute Validation Protocols and collecting test evidence.
• Create and improve Administration SOPs of automation systems
• Monitor integrity, availability, performance and operability of automation systems.
• Identify, investigate and correct technical issues, including performing root cause analysis for production errors.
• Make adjustments, enhancements and applying patches or upgrades as required for automation systems, while adhering to the Change Control process.
• Understand network operations, system operations, and Cloud-based systems.
• Administer user access management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology trends, programming languages, and automation best practices for bioprocess equipment including single-use bioreactors, chromatography controllers, ultrafiltration skids, and QC instruments.

Qualifications:
- Expertise in IT Networking and industrial automation systems, such as Rockwell Automation (Allen Bradley RS Logix), Wonderware Archestra platform, TopView, Vaisala ViewLinc, Unicorn software, DeltaV, various Repligen and Thermo Scientific instruments is a plus.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field of study with at least 5-7 years of related experience that provides direct scientific knowledge of automation systems operation and validation principles for computerized biologics production systems.
- Proven experience as an IT Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Direct knowledge of the biologics process equipment, SCADA/control systems, and supporting IT networking infrastructure.
- Expertise in scientific / technical subject areas – Equipment Qualification, Computer System Validation, SCADA system architecture, Biotech Process Equipment/Systems.
- Proficient in use of electronic systems, such as Microsoft Office, various specialized software including process documentation Veeva Vault, Material Management (SAP), Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo), Building Automation System (BAS).
- Knowledge of domestic / international regulatory guidelines / compendia and industry standards (FDA, ICH, USP and EMEA guidelines) for validation of computerized equipment and automation systems, including but not limited to 21 CFR Part 11, EU Eudralex Annex 11 and GAMP 5.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to focus on solutions for our AI Transformation team. You will work in-office at least three days per week at our Fort Lee, New Jersey headquarters. With guidance from your Engineering Manager and a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate closely with an AI strategy team and collaborate face-to-face with business stakeholders to deeply understand their problems, cut through surface-level descriptions to identify root challenges, and write the code that solves real problems. We are looking for someone who has worked within ambiguity, and seeks out and applies strong engineering disciplines to deliver sustainable, AI-centered or augmented outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components
- Build backend systems using a mix of technologies. Languages may include C# (.NET 10), Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Databases may include PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Infrastructure includes AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Implement, test, and iterate on software solutions that address both short-term and long-term considerations with a maintainable, sustainable mindset
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience developing enterprise systems in modern, current object-oriented languages, with at least 2+ years of C#
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server

You will contribute to developing test cases, building automation, and performing testing on the services and applications that make up Cross River's COS platform. The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer with experience testing reliable, performant, and scalable services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to perform manual and automated testing across Online Banking and Mobile Banking applications
- Contribute to building and maintaining test automation across critical business domains
- Participate in planning, triage, and prioritization of testing activities
- Write and execute test cases for functional, regression, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Actively contribute to a collaborative, quality-focused culture within the team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation
- Working knowledge of C#; experience with Specflow/Reqnroll is a plus
- 1+ years of experience with SQL
- 1+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs
