We are hiring a Director of Employee Communications to reset and lead this function at a higher strategic and operational level. As we set out to become a $10B company in the age of AI, we must drive a high-performance culture grounded in clear strategy and operating at pace. To do this, we must raise the bar on how our internal comms operates and delivers the information employees need in order to execute successfully, while strengthening leadership alignment, employee trust and clarity during periods of change. This requires a Director-level leader who can set the strategy and operating model for the function, influence senior stakeholders, lead through others and drive into execution when needed with core partners, including executive leadership, the People team and Global Comms. It is important to base this role in the U.S. (San Francisco, NYC, or Austin) so the Director is in the time zones where leadership is primarily making decisions that directly impact employees and the internal communications function day-to-day in addition to supporting high-velocity, high-stakes communications with senior leaders in real-time. Early objectives include:

• Reset the Program: The Director will define and implement our internal comms plan, operating cadence, channel strategy and quality bar to be consistent and proactive while delivering operational excellence at pace.
• Lead cross-functional alignment with Global Comms and HR: They will closely collaborate with the People Team and will ensure internal communications are planned, aligned, and integrated into the company narrative, major business moments and leadership priorities.
• Lead High-Stakes Moments: Own our most visible internal platforms, like Global MongoDB Lives. We need a leader on the ground to ensure these moments deliver. This role will oversee the execution of several of leaderships’ tentpole programs that shape company strategy, trust and organizational clarity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process development & implementation

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

As the Compliance Ethics & Advisory Lead, you will be responsible for administering the bank’s ethics compliance program. Position Summary:

The Wire Transfers Payment Associate is responsible for processing, monitoring, and reconciling wire transfer transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. This role supports all clients by processing wires transfers, researching transaction discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with OFAC, Travel Rule, and bank policies. Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s Lending Group is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to assist in closing loans for a growing commercial loan portfolio.  This role will assist with the loan closing process and management of the loan portfolio.  The portfolio is comprised of a wide variety of property types including multifamily, nursing facilities, retail, office, hotel, and construction.

Responsibilities 

• Serve as main liaison for all aspects of the loan closing process of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) transactions for complex loan transactions which includes reviewing and negotiating loan documents, preparing loan settlement statements, ensuring all due diligence items required for closing are in received, and confirming compliance with both internal and external policies.
• Coordinate with several internal bank departments throughout the closing process including the credit group to ensure closing requirements as outlined in the credit memo are met, the loan operations group to pre-board new client and collateral data to bank systems and to close and fund the loans on the day of closing, and the lending deposits group to have the necessary deposit accounts opened prior to closing.
• Review attorney prepared legal documents for accuracy to loan approval and to ensure operational functionality is in-line with bank’s system capabilities.
• Coordinate closing aspect of loan renewals and modifications in a similar manner to new loan closings.
• Manage entire loan payoff and collateral release process by working bank attorneys, borrowers, and loan operations department for termination documents and payoff letters.
• Serve as main point of contact for several monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance-related reports and audits as assigned by Director of Loan Closings (eg: quarterly withdrawn loans log, OFAC audit, etc.).
• Work on additional tasks, assignments and projects as needed.

Production Architecture & AIOps

• Establish and enforce architecture standards for production AI systems, including data pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and real-time inference services.

Implement robust monitoring and alerting for model performance to detect and address degradation (e.g., drift, latency issues).

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6+ years of experience
• Master’s or PhD in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering,  Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, etc.) is strongly preferred, especially with research or thesis work related to AI/ML
• LLM & GenAI Mastery: Expert in building and deploying LLM-based applications using RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases. Skilled in LLMOps tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and fine-tuning models for enterprise use, including agent-based architectures.
• MLOps & Cloud Infrastructure: Proficient in cloud ML platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps workflows. Uses Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for scalable deployments. Experienced in CI/CD, real-time inference, GPU optimization, and ML observability (Prometheus, Grafana, MLflow).
• Full-Stack Development: Capable of building end-to-end AI solutions, from front-end (React) to back-end APIs (Flask, FastAPI, Node.js). Skilled in integrating ML models with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and delivering seamless user experiences through robust software engineering.
• Proficient in Python (pandas, scikit-learn), deep learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras), NLP/LLMs, LangChain, embeddings/vector search, and classic ML.
• Experienced with Snowflake-native ML (Snowpark Python, UDFs/UDTFs, Tasks/Streams).

About the role:

The Credit Underwriter (AVP) is responsible for undertaking and presenting robust credit risk analysis in support of relationship-led loan requests from our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) team. The role will focus on traditional C&I. The underwriter will be expected to lead underwriting for straight forward loans, with senior support provided for the more complex transactions.

• With limited supervision, undertaking financial and credit risk analysis for borrowers and guarantors in a timely manner; including financials, projections, global cash flows, REO schedule, industry/market, structure, and terms.
• Demonstrating understanding of credit risks and mitigants, presenting analysis and risk rating recommendation clearly and concisely in risk focused credit proposals for submission to the FVP Credit/Deputy CCO for review.

• Develop and refine prompts, grounding instructions, structured outputs, evaluation datasets, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings, vector search, document chunking, and metadata-driven retrieval.

Agentic workflow design & orchestration:

• Support AI use-case intake and governance processes by preparing required documentation (e.g., AI intake forms, model/system inventories, change-control artifacts, and audit-ready evidence packs) aligned to MCB’s Trustworthy & Responsible AI Principles and internal approval processes.
• Learn domain and process context for new use cases by speaking with business owners and control partners; translate requirements into clear problem statements, data needs, user journeys, control gates, and documentation required to comply with internal and external regulations.
• Support third-party / AI vendor due diligence by collecting and organizing evidence, reviewing vendor documentation, and helping risk-tier AI vendors and solutions in partnership with Third-Party Risk and Cyber/IT; act as an AI subject matter expert in providing an understanding of AI-specific risks.
• Apply privacy-by-design, data minimization, access-control, and secure prompt/data handling practices; follow approved tooling and build standards.

Cross-functional partnership and continuous learning:

• Communicate findings, limitations, and recommendations clearly to AI Scientists, managers, control partners (Model Risk, Compliance/Legal, Cyber/IT, Data Privacy), and business stakeholders; incorporate feedback quickly and accurately.

Position Summary:

The Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager is the primary contact for established borrowing clients.  Under the general direction of the department head and its Commercial Lenders, this position’s primary responsibilities include all aspects of portfolio management as it relates to assigned portfolio loans together with the cross selling of Bank products and services. Compliance & Risk Management

The Election Analytics team produces flagship, standard-setting elections coverage, including the live, election night statistical model known as the Needle and The New York Times/Siena Poll. Both of those efforts rely on one of the most comprehensive election data operations in media, with the voter file at the core.

We’re just scratching the surface of all the journalistic products we could produce with the voter file and the rest of the data we collect — absentee files, precinct-level results, live turnout figures, poll results and more. But our tooling has not always kept pace with our ambitions.

You will be responsible for owning this mass of data end-to-end, for ensuring that we have reliable, automated pipelines for putting the data into consistent formats and for validating that the data is being transformed correctly. You will also be responsible for the tooling to work with the data, ensuring that more data journalists can leverage it without the existing steep learning curve. (We are an R shop, though prior R experience is not a necessity.) If you like solving problems for which there is little, if any, documented precedent, this would be a fun job for you.

Your work will ensure that we can even more regularly tell compelling stories about voting patterns and elections, whether they take the form of articles or evolve into new products that deliver as much insight as our polls and the Needle.
