QphoX is looking for a Quantum Application Engineer to help push our microwave-to-optics conversion technology and its application to quantum computing to the next level. In this role, you will be part of a team focussing on the development of optical interconnects for control, readout and networking of quantum processors. As a Quantum Application Engineer, you will define and articulate the performance requirements of our products, develop experiments to quantify these requirements and demonstrate the performance of our technology both internally as well as with external partners and customers.

The Senior Field Application Specialist (Sr. FAS) EMEA, Cell Therapy & Regulatory Markets, serves as a trusted scientific partner to customers in the cell therapy, biopharmaceutical and regulated research markets including CMOs and CDMOs. Leveraging deep expertise in CAR-T workflows and GMP/regulatory requirements, this role will empower customers to navigate the transition from discovery to clinical manufacturing. With a strong emphasis on GMP-aligned applications, the FAS provides deep technical expertise, regulatory awareness, and hands-on support to enable successful implementation of CST products in both research and clinical manufacturing environments. Also responsible to reach and/or exceed territory budgetary goals through sales success across key product areas.

You'll have the opportunity to...

• Serve as the primary scientific and technical liaison for customers across EMEA (direct and indirect markets), working in CAR-T and cell therapy development, including GMP and GxP environments
• To be the subject matter expert for customers operating in regulated environments, advising on the selection of CST products that meet cGMP and ISO 13485 quality standards, assay validation, comparability studies, and documentation requirements
• Provide expert pre- and post-sales support on CST products and assays across discovery, translational, and manufacturing workflows

• To drive successful product launches and adoption in EMEA integrating local market specificities including development of sales launch packages, value propositions that are accepted by the sales force and tracking revenue in accordance with forecasts
• To support Early Access Program with sales, marketing, technical support and R&D
• To drive building a KOL network in EMEA, identify customers for possible joint collaborations and facilitate connections with CST R&D

Who you are and what you bring to the team...

We are looking for a Data Scientist - Commercial Insights to work with our Commercial teams (primarily marketing and supply) and leverage data to identify commercial opportunities from understanding the marketplace balance of the platform to scaling the demand/offering in a given category.

You will be part of the Data Science & Insights team helping us make sense of our data, finding actionable insights and creating self-service opportunities by combining data from multiple sources and working closely together with your colleagues in other departments.

In this role, no two days will be the same: you will build ad hoc analyses, design and analyse commercial activations, uncover trends in user behaviour, communicate about the impact of a new initiative or enhance the reliability of our data pipelines. Whatever the task, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Catawiki’s commercial strategy and influencing our stakeholders.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Application Scientist to join our team in Eindhoven. This role blends scientific expertise with customer engagement and technical support, contributing directly to Picarro’s growth across EMEA. You will be based at our Eindhoven office and lab, where you’ll manage day-to-day lab operations and support field activities. The position requires regular travel across Europe and to the United States, with no travel restrictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Eindhoven lab, including:
  • Independently leading application development projects
  • Conducting product demonstrations in the office
  • Tailoring solutions to real-world applications
  • Ensuring a safe, organised, and productive environment
  • Training customers and partners onsite in Eindhoven

Qualifications

• Degree in Geoscience, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD welcome).

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus.
