POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting a dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented manufacturing environment. This position serves as a trusted partner to plant leadership, helping drive business results through effective Human Resources practices and employee support. The HR Generalist supports a broad range of plant-level HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, recruiting, and day-to-day HR administration. This role is instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting company values, operational goals, and overall employee engagement.

Scope: To oversee all aspects the Bakery production including: mixing, baking, and packing of products. Institute the direction and goals of the Plant Manager to create a culture and process that identifies and maintains continuous improvement of yield, efficiency, quality, cleanliness, and safety.

· Continuously take independent action, perform daily analysis, and provide corrective action recommendations to:

· Develops, maintains, and adjusts production standards and specifications to reflect processes over three shifts.
· Partners with Human Resources to develop and enforce Company rules, mission, and policies in a fair and consistent manner as well as develop long term goals and values that maintain a positive and diverse culture in the workplace. Develop specific training needs inside the organization and effective plans to bring awareness and education.
· Develop and manage subordinates including Production Managers, Supervisors and Leads to maintain production and staffing needs. Effectively bridge communication gaps between all shifts.
· Interact with Quality Manager and customer auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customer specifications.
· Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures
· Responsible for food safety and quality.
· Other tasks as assigned.

· Ability to handle several projects and tasks independently.
· Interpersonal communication and ability to clarify complex processes and procedures to staff, customers, and auditors.
· Proficient computer skills in Word, Power Point, and Excel.

Position Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or at least seven years of prior experience in managing large departments for consumer product manufacturer.
· Five years or more experience managing supervisors on more than one shift.
· Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.
· Experience in quality system audits.
· Regular and reliable attendance.
Additional Information:
· Plant Manager will serve as back up for specific responsibilities of the Operations Manager regarding production and operations procedures

Scope: This position is responsible for preparing product for final stages including packaging into specified trays. This includes inspecting and packing or repacking product into trays or corrugated boxes, closing and coding of boxes for palletizing. Key Responsibilities: Pick up product according to product tray size at a rate of seven to eighteen trays per minute, depending on variety. The packer also is responsible for inspecting for quality before placing in trays and onto conveyors. Inspect product for specific flaws as set forth by the Quality Manager and set aside in designated areas for rework or discard. Report any major discrepancies with product directly to the lead, supervisor, or the Quality Manager. Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures. Responsible for food safety and quality. Other tasks as assigned. Key Competencies: Ability to work at a fast pace on production line with moving product. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Teamwork and ability to work with others. Excellent eye - hand coordination. Position Requirements: Math and reading skills. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time. Regular and reliable attendance. Scope:
Direct contact for major projects involving complex mechanical repair, adjustments, and potential equipment problems to maintain the safety, efficiency, and productivity of equipment and plant operations within the Daddy Ray facility. Maintain preventative maintenance of major equipment and report problems to Maintenance Supervisor/Manager or Engineer.
