We are looking for a Marketing Ops & AI Specialist to join our Marketing Team at Whatwapp. This role plays a key part in keeping our marketing machine running smoothly by spotting blockers across teams and solving them quickly using AI.

As a Marketing Ops & AI Specialist, you’ll be embedded across cross-functional meetings - sitting in with UA, Creative, Analytics, and Product - actively listening for problems, inefficiencies, and gaps. Then you’ll take ownership and fix them, fast, using AI tools as your primary means of execution.

You’ll act as the team’s problem-solver: turning friction into flow, building lightweight automations, and making sure no blocker goes unresolved. AI isn’t just a nice-to-have in this role - it’s how you get things done. You'll have the freedom to use whatever AI tools you need to get the job done, and we'll make sure you have access to them.

📖 Your quests will be to:

• Sit in on cross-functional meetings (UA, Creative, Analytics, Product) and proactively identify blockers, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

🎮 To start playing, you will need:

• Strong AI fluency - you’re already using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar in your daily work and can demonstrate real output from them
• Comfort with data - you don’t need to be a data scientist, but you can pull insights from a spreadsheet or dashboard and make sense of them
• Good written and verbal communication - you’ll need to clearly explain problems and solutions to different teams
• Some understanding of product thinking: you naturally approach problems by defining the issue, prioritising solutions, and iterating quickly
• Experience with or interest in automation and no-code/low-code tools (e.g. Zapier, Make, n8n, Notion, Airtable)

You will join the Motor Pricing team, which supports Wakam’s partner portfolios by delivering technical pricing excellence and profitability steering.

The team works in close collaboration with stakeholders across Risk, Reinsurance, Data, Underwriting, and Partner Management, and plays a key role in ensuring our Motor business remains sustainable, competitive, and scalable across markets.

🎯 Your Mission

As a Motor Pricing Actuary, you will deliver pricing and portfolio analysis work across the UK & Rest of Europe scope (excluding France).

Your core objective is to secure profitability and strengthen technical portfolio management through robust pricing, performance monitoring, and actionable recommendations.

You will operate with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of projects end-to-end — from analysis and recommendation to deliverables ready for committee review and implementation.

✏️ Your Responsibilities

End-to-End Pricing & Portfolio Projects

You will independently manage projects covering:

• New contract pricing: profitability analyses, scenario testing, and pricing recommendations tailored to partner needs and constraints.
• Optimisation of existing portfolios: performance diagnostics, identification of key drivers (mix effects, claims trends, inflation, drifts), pricing action proposals, and impact monitoring over time.
• Pricing tools & technical assets: maintenance and targeted improvements of datasets, models, scripts, and profitability reports, ensuring quality, consistency of definitions, and reproducibility.
• Partner reviews & committees: preparation of review packs and quantified analyses to support partner discussions and internal governance.

You will produce ready-to-use, auditable deliverables that can be used in governance settings and handed over smoothly, including:

• Pricing notes and recommendations
• Portfolio performance analyses and diagnostics
• Committee materials (slides + appendices)

You bring strong technical foundations and relevant market expertise, including:

• Proven expertise in Motor pricing, either in European markets and/or the UK
• Experience in Italy and/or Spain is a strong plus

• Excellent actuarial and analytical skills, with the ability to produce robust, decision-grade analyses
• Ability to deliver committee-ready outputs, with structured narratives, clear assumptions, quantified impacts, and traceability

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Core Data team and play a key role in transforming TheFork’s data capabilities through the implementation of a modern, self-service Data Platform (DPaaS).

In this role, you will not only build scalable, production-grade data pipelines, but also contribute to designing and evolving the platform that enables domain teams to autonomously produce and consume trusted data products.

You will apply strong software engineering principles to data engineering, help define governance standards, and actively contribute to shifting our organisation from a centralised BI model to a federated, domain-oriented data ecosystem.

You will report directly to the Senior Data Engineering Manager and work in close collaboration with:

• DataOps team: who own the Data Platform infrastructure
• Architects: to ensure technical decisions align with enterprise architecture
• BI teams, Engineering teams and Data Science teams: who are the main consumers of the platform

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Design and implement scalable, production-grade data pipelines following strong software engineering practices (version control, CI/CD, automated testing, observability).
• Lead the evolution of orchestration patterns in Airflow to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Drive technical POCs to evaluate new tools, architectural patterns, and performance improvements aligned with the platform roadmap.
• Contribute to shaping and validating the target data architecture in collaboration with Architects, Staff Engineers, and DataOps.
• Proactively identify system weaknesses and design for failure, defining mitigation strategies and resilience patterns.

Data Governance & Quality

• Implement and enforce data contracts and quality controls aligned with defined SLOs.
• Apply data modeling best practices including medallion architecture to create trusted, reusable data assets
• Contribute to establishing domain ownership principles and clear single sources of truth.
• Ensure lineage, metadata, and observability mechanisms are embedded by design in all pipelines.

Enablement & Collaboration

• Drive technical alignment across teams through clear documentation, standards, and mentoring.
• Partner with DataOps to ensure infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform automation at scale.

Technical Expertise

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications 

Minimum 6 years of data engineering experience, including significant exposure to production-grade data platforms and cross-team leadership.

Data Platform & Architecture

• Deep hands-on experience with a modern cloud lakehouse in production-grade environments (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, …).
• Strong expertise in analytical data modeling (including medallion architecture) and safe schema evolution.
• Proven experience designing scalable, incremental ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of MPP systems and distributed data processing principles.

Performance & Cost Optimization

• Experience optimizing query performance and compute cost in cloud data warehouses.
• Cost-aware design mindset.

Orchestration & Data Integration

• Advanced proven experience with Airflow, including scalable DAG design, dependency management, and failure handling strategies.
• Strong experience designing and operating production-grade ELT pipelines using modern integration tools (e.g. Airbyte or similar) or custom ingestion frameworks.
• Experience designing self-service data platform capabilities is a strong plus.

Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong experience with AWS-based data architectures (S3, IAM, networking fundamentals).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Understanding of security-by-design principles in cloud data environments.

Data Quality, Governance & Observability

• Experience implementing data quality frameworks, data contracts, and validation strategies.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, lineage tracking, and monitoring practices.
• Experience embedding observability and reliability into pipelines (alerting, SLOs, incident response mindset).

Execution & Autonomy

• Lead initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing to production rollout, with high autonomy.
• Structure complex technical problems into actionable plans and manage cross-team dependencies.
