Delivery Solutions Architects (DSAs) are trusted technical advisors embedded within the customer organization, providing expert guidance that translates data and AI challenges into high-impact business value. They help you design, implement, and scale data and AI solutions, focusing on architecture, operational excellence, and team enablement. DSAs focus on:

• Designing secure, scalable architecture 
• Aligning people, processes, and technology 
• Establishing trusted advisor relationships
• Leveraging the broader ecosystem of Databricks experts 

This is a hybrid technical and commercial role. Technically, the expectations are that you become the post-sales technical lead and trusted advisor across all Databricks products for the customer’s top priority use cases. This requires you to use your technical skills and credibility to engage and communicate with technical/technical leadership stakeholders in our customer organizations, do architecture reviews, help with performance and cost optimizations, demonstrate new capabilities, remove blockers, etc. In parallel, it is commercial in the sense that you will drive growth in your assigned customers and use cases through leading your customers' stakeholders, building executive relationships, orchestrating other focused/specialized teams within Databricks, and creating and driving onboarding plans. 

While not a hands-on-keyboard role, this is a highly technical position where architectural skills in fields such as Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Data Science are essential.

You will report directly to a DSA Manager within the Field Engineering organization.

The impact you will have:

• Be the Databricks Architect working with customer technical teams working on use cases/data products, from development to go-live, addressing any technical challenges and blockers and providing guidance, best practices and enablement
• Lead the post-technical win technical account strategy and execution plan for the majority of Databricks use cases within our most strategic accounts
• Be the internal point of contact for any questions related to production/go live status of agreed upon use cases within an account, often for multiple use cases within the largest and most complex organizations
• Leverage both Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services and Support resources, along with escalating to expert-level technical teams to address the tasks that are beyond your scope of activities or expertise
• Create  and execute a point-of-view as to how key use cases can be accelerated into production, coordinating with Professional Services (PS) resources on the delivery of PS Engagement proposals
• Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product Innovations, private previews and upgrade needs
• Develop an execution plan that covers all activities of all customer-facing technical roles and teams to cover the below work streams:
• Main use cases moving from ‘win’ to production
• Enablement / user growth plan
• Product adoption (strategy and activities to increase adoption of Databricks’ Lakehouse vision)
• Organic needs for current investment (e.g. cloud cost control, tuning & optimization)
• Executive and operational governance
• Provide internal and external updates - KPI reporting on the status of usage and customer health, covering investment status, important risks, product adoption and use case progression - to your Technical GM
• Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product Innovations, private previews and upgrade needs, presenting them to the customers when applicable for their ongoing developments

What we look for:

• 6-10 years of experience where you have been accountable for delivery of projects in  Data, Analytics or AI and where you can contribute to technical debate and design choices with customers
• Programming experience in PySpark, SQL or Scala 
• Understanding and hands-on experience of solution architecture-related distributed data and analytics systems
• Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting roles
• Understanding of how to attribute business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables
• Technical program coordination including account and stakeholder management
• Experience resolving complex and important escalation with senior customer technical stakeholders
• Track record of overachievement against quota, Goals or similar objective targets
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience
• Can travel up to 30%

What you will do: 

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Core Data team and play a key role in transforming TheFork’s data capabilities through the implementation of a modern, self-service Data Platform (DPaaS).

In this role, you will not only build scalable, production-grade data pipelines, but also contribute to designing and evolving the platform that enables domain teams to autonomously produce and consume trusted data products.

You will apply strong software engineering principles to data engineering, help define governance standards, and actively contribute to shifting our organisation from a centralised BI model to a federated, domain-oriented data ecosystem.

You will report directly to the Senior Data Engineering Manager and work in close collaboration with:

• DataOps team: who own the Data Platform infrastructure
• Architects: to ensure technical decisions align with enterprise architecture
• BI teams, Engineering teams and Data Science teams: who are the main consumers of the platform

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Design and implement scalable, production-grade data pipelines following strong software engineering practices (version control, CI/CD, automated testing, observability).
• Lead the evolution of orchestration patterns in Airflow to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Drive technical POCs to evaluate new tools, architectural patterns, and performance improvements aligned with the platform roadmap.
• Contribute to shaping and validating the target data architecture in collaboration with Architects, Staff Engineers, and DataOps.
• Proactively identify system weaknesses and design for failure, defining mitigation strategies and resilience patterns.

Data Governance & Quality

• Implement and enforce data contracts and quality controls aligned with defined SLOs.
• Apply data modeling best practices including medallion architecture to create trusted, reusable data assets
• Contribute to establishing domain ownership principles and clear single sources of truth.
• Ensure lineage, metadata, and observability mechanisms are embedded by design in all pipelines.

Enablement & Collaboration

• Drive technical alignment across teams through clear documentation, standards, and mentoring.
• Partner with DataOps to ensure infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform automation at scale.
• Actively support product and engineering teams in adopting the platform, with a strong focus on developer experience.
• Build cross-functional relationships to accelerate adoption and drive platform impact.

Technical Expertise

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications 

Minimum 6 years of data engineering experience, including significant exposure to production-grade data platforms and cross-team leadership.

Data Platform & Architecture

• Deep hands-on experience with a modern cloud lakehouse in production-grade environments (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, …).
• Strong expertise in analytical data modeling (including medallion architecture) and safe schema evolution.
• Proven experience designing scalable, incremental ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of MPP systems and distributed data processing principles.

Performance & Cost Optimization

• Experience optimizing query performance and compute cost in cloud data warehouses.
• Cost-aware design mindset.

Orchestration & Data Integration

• Advanced proven experience with Airflow, including scalable DAG design, dependency management, and failure handling strategies.
• Strong experience designing and operating production-grade ELT pipelines using modern integration tools (e.g. Airbyte or similar) or custom ingestion frameworks.
• Experience designing self-service data platform capabilities is a strong plus.

Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong experience with AWS-based data architectures (S3, IAM, networking fundamentals).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Understanding of security-by-design principles in cloud data environments.

Data Quality, Governance & Observability

• Experience implementing data quality frameworks, data contracts, and validation strategies.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, lineage tracking, and monitoring practices.
• Experience embedding observability and reliability into pipelines (alerting, SLOs, incident response mindset).

Execution & Autonomy

• Lead initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing to production rollout, with high autonomy.
• Structure complex technical problems into actionable plans and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Make informed architectural trade-offs balancing scalability, cost, reliability, and time-to-market.
• Take ownership of platform stability and continuously improve operational excellence.
• Mentor and help other engineers grow through technical guidance and feedback.

About the Role:

The Strategic Partner Manager will own a portfolio of Growth focused agency partners. This includes managing the day-to-day interactions and building relationships with agency partners.  Additionally, enabling Shopify system integrators and digital agencies in Southern Europe who will implement, refer and manage Bloomreach solutions.

This is a quota carrying role for someone who is passionate about creating and building partnerships that are mutually beneficial, driving sourced and influenced revenue.  The role will facilitate collaboration between agency partners and align cross functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Delivery, and Marketing, to drive success.  This role reports into the Associate Director, Agency Partnerships. 

What you'll Do:

• Build, own and grow a portfolio of agency partnerships and drive value with those partners 
• Generate partner sourced pipeline and influenced business, achieving quarterly targets  
• Support partner through entire sales cycle- qualifying opportunities, joint co-selling with Bloomreach sales team, and post implementation
• Create strategic business plans with partners, outlining mutual goals related to generating revenue, marketing initiatives, and partner enablement
• Develop strategic enablement and “market to” plans with partners to educate them on Bloomreach’s capabilities, drive awareness, and ensure our solutions are top of mind
• Create scalable and effective partner marketing activities that drive revenue
• Identify the right partners to recruit and develop an outbounding strategy and a clear onboarding plan that activates the partners quickly to drive sourced revenue 
• Build strong relationships with internal team members to meet objectives and targets
• Facilitate collaboration between Bloomreach Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Delivery teams and partners
• Nurture relationships with partners by proactively attending industry conferences, partner events, and hosting “Bloom Enablement Sessions” to equip the partners under your portfolio.
• Evaluate potential partnership opportunities based on market dynamics, customer impact, and strategic unlock partners who would provide with their credibility and clientele they bring with them.

What you'll Need:

• 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in Channel Sales selling software or software-as-a-service (SaaS)
• At least 3-5 years of selling or partnerships in Commerce, Marketing agency or technology companies 
• Travel: Estimated 20-40% (variable)
• Marketing and full cycle sales background is a plus 
• Deep knowledge of online/internet/digital marketing technology  and eco-system
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quota
• Well-established presence in the industry with a strong network to leverage

• Ideally have experience in collaborating with C level executives at top digital marketing and commerce agencies
