Data Engineer at NICE CXone sits between the teams that build data products and the infrastructure that runs them. We keep Snowflake environments healthy, get changes deployed safely through maintenance windows, and make sure the pipelines and systems our partners depend on stay observable and reliable.
Your time will be split between operational work — coordinating and executing change requests, monitoring systems, supporting deployments — and project work focused on improving how we operate: better automation, cleaner alerting, more resilient processes.
How will you make an impact?
Release & deployment operations
- Coordinate and execute build and release activities across multiple production regions within scheduled maintenance windows
- Manage day-to-day operations of release pipelines, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions workflows, on behalf of data engineering teams
- Author and manage Change Requests in ServiceNow, following CAB and CHG guidelines
- Respond to platform alerts, investigate issues, and keep stakeholders informed
Observability & support
- Perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance of Snowflake environments — warehouse performance, access, and cost
- Monitor MSK (Kafka) consumers and producers via CloudWatch; escalate or resolve anomalies
- Keep runbooks current and contribute to post-incident reviews
- Support data engineering teams with deployment questions and environment issues
Improvement & automation
- Identify and prototype improvements to DataOps processes through scripting and automation
- Build and maintain tooling that reduces toil and improves the reliability of our release pipeline

Data Engineer
Important Information

Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and develop data pipelines that will ingest the data from the respective source systems into the data warehouse
- Support and optimize existing data pipelines to ensure that the downstream SLAs are met
- Responsible in attending agile ceremonies as part of the Agile Tribe set-up and delivering the different demands of the Tribe related to data ingestions to the data warehouse platform
- Ensures data quality within the data warehouse tables
- Ensures the data engineering standards and practices are followed like code version history, readability, functionality, extendibility, test runs, deployments, and post deployment support
- Supports L2 Data Operations team and act as L3 support
- Manage data storage, computing unit requirements, and data security within the data warehouse
- Gather data requirements coming from Tribe demands
- Supports other data engineers on other Tribes or domains if necessary
- Demonstrate technical excellence when it comes to the data warehouse platform
- Supports stakeholders of the data warehouse platform by solving data related issues and conducting data investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.
- Strong SQL and ETL development experience, preferably related to Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or other Data Delivery projects.
- Proficiency in optimizing data pipelines in order to meet SLA requirements and save cost
- Experience in Big Data, Hadoop, EMR, Hive, and cloud environments is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, R, Java, Scala is a plus

You:
As a Senior Product Support Engineer at Feedzai, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, resolving the most complex and escalated pre-production and post-production technical issues within our cloud-based financial crime prevention platform. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving mindset, and customer-centric attitude to ensure that customer issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
You’ll be expected to take full ownership of customer incidents, mitigate urgent problems, escalate appropriately to our engineering teams, and follow through until complete resolution. This position involves analyzing complex technical issues across Feedzai’s products , their interaction with customers’ infrastructure, and communicating with stakeholders across all levels of seniority. We are looking for professionals with experience across L1, L2, and L3 support levels—or with the technical capability to operate across these levels.
Your Day to Day:
- Serve as a technical expert on Feedzai’s products, resolving complex customer issues independently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product and infrastructure-related issues in a 24/7 environment, adhering to established SLA timelines.
- Manage customer communications effectively, including conference calls and status updates to stakeholders.
- Clearly document and communicate issue root causes, impacts, and resolution steps to internal and external stakeholders.
- Escalate critical issues to the appropriate engineering teams and coordinate resolution efforts across multiple tiers of support.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between Support and Engineering, driving root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring efficient hand-offs for critical issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support documentation, including the creation of internal and external knowledge base articles.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable engineering requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Customer Success teams to prioritize enhancements.

- After 3–6 months, participate in the on-call rotation for handling high-priority issues during weekends (approximately one weekend every three weeks), with additional compensation.
- Serve as a mentor and escalation point for L1 support staff, providing technical guidance and peer review for incident resolution.
You Have & You Know-how:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent professional experience.
- 4–7 years of experience in a technical support, product support, or engineering role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, professional customer-facing documentation (e.g., Root Cause Analysis reports).

- Strong technical foundation, with a solid understanding of programming concepts (development experience is a plus, but not required).
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux systems.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles (experience with Java is preferred).
- Hands-on experience with development tools such as Git, IDEs, and related utilities.
- Experience with databases, particularly Cassandra and SQL.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and web technologies (especially REST APIs).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Exposure to messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and coordination tools such as Zookeeper.

Duties:
- Deploy, Upgrade, Maintain third party application stacks for metrics, logging and APM
- Advanced troubleshooting of performance issues related to Linux
- Build, Maintain and troubleshoot containerized workloads in Kubernetes or docker
- Maintain CI/CD pipeline for developer code in Gitlab
- Support developers with deploying and maintaining application servers
- Create / Update Ansible code for configuration management of third-party applications
- Create / Update Terraform code for management of infrastructure
- Work with other teams to understand their specific needs and goals for observability and help them follow established processes and best practices to achieve those goals
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Observability stack, answering questions from other teams on how to use the tools we provide
- Provide guidance and training to junior engineers
- Participate in 24x7 On Call support rotating weekly between Observability Engineers
- Work US based daytime hours
Requirements:
This is an intermediate position with expectation the candidate has a good amount of work experience to be self-sufficient.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu / Debian / CentOS / RHEL)
- Intermediate to advanced scripting abilities ( Bash / Python )
- Intermediate to advanced experience with hypervisor technologies ( Openstack / VMWare )
- Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts to be able to troubleshoot advance architectures that involve complex networks.
- 2+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- 2+ years experience with Configuration as Code tools such as Ansible
- 2+ years experience with Grafana or a similar a Dashboarding tool
- 2+ years experience with Observability tools such as:
- Metrics: Prometheus / Mimir / Thanos / VictoriaDb / Graphite / InfluxDb
- Logs: Loki / Elasticsearch / Splunk
- Tracing/APM: Tempo / New Relic / AppDynamics
- 2+ years experience with public cloud operators specifically GCP and AWS
- 2+ years experience with Kubernetes and docker
- 2+ years experience with Kafka
- Experience with git and standard processes (branching and merge/pull request) for collaborative version control
