The Opportunity

As the Operations Manager and second employee in Manila, you will be a foundational leader building Flexport Philippines from the ground up. You will serve as the regional subject matter expert across Ocean (FCL, LCL, Buyers Consolidation) and Air, driving growth and operational excellence.

This role requires a leader who can "wear many hats"—one who balances strategic scaling with hands-on execution. You will hire and coach a high-performing team, manage critical stakeholder relationships, and instill a culture of performance and innovation to make global trade easier for everyone.

What You'll Do

Operational Leadership: Hire, mentor, and develop a team responsible for end-to-end shipment handling (Export/Import) across Ocean, Air, and Intermodal.
Service Excellence: Act as the primary escalation point for clients and stakeholders, ensuring proactive issue resolution and world-class service delivery.
Process Engineering: Establish scalable infrastructure and standardized procedures to maximize efficiency and maintain high data quality.
Strategic Growth: Partner with overseas demand teams to identify growth opportunities and recommend supply chain solutions for new clients.
Commercial Management: Monitor and optimize the cost-to-serve while maintaining high client satisfaction and employee engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Customs, Trucking, and Product teams to drive continuous improvement and experiment with new growth initiatives.
Agile Execution: Deep-dive into any area of the business as needed to support a growing, lean regional team.

What You’ll Need

10+ years in freight forwarding or logistics operations, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
Deep knowledge of the Philippines logistics landscape, carrier practices, and multimodal transport (Ocean/Air).
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
A process-oriented, structured thinker with the courage to challenge the status quo and fix broken processes.
The ability to pivot between strategic vision and tactical execution.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset and a passion for developing industry talent.

What You Will Do

We are looking for an Manager-Solution Architect to join our Anaplan Delivery Team!

The Anaplan Solution Architect will design best-in-class Anaplan solutions that meet the tailored needs of our clients. You will develop and cast the technical vision to internal model building consultants, and most importantly, to our clients, as we work to deliver the best possible solution to their challenges. Your design will account for data sources, integration layers, the underlying Anaplan model architecture, and the user interface, and you will have the opportunity to coach and train others along the way!

Ideal candidates will be able to:

Work as a Solutions Architect and lead the end-to-end design of an Anaplan Model
Ability to run a project utilizing the Agile Implementation Methodology
Ability to effectively communicate with client team and in client facing roles across various time zones based on client location
Ability to work in Hybrid model (WFH and Office)
Strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude
Clear ability to teach both clients and internal resources with no prior Anaplan knowledge how to build a model.
Guide a customer to enhance their process utilizing both Anaplan expertise and Subject Matter Expertise.
Ability to have difficult conversations with a customer about scope and timeline in order to ensure the project timeline is on track and budget
Ability to effectively lead a team of consultants
Understand clients business planning performance management processes and related business requirements
Conceive and develop Proof Of Concept POC models efficiently to provide pursuit support and establish credibility of Anaplan platform flexibility with the customers
Design effectively efficiently to cover processes requirements into detailed blueprint: enterprise models with associated modules, lists / line items, and calculations as supported by multi-dimensional Anaplan platform

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering or any Graduate + MBA/PG/CA/CFA in Finance
10-13 years of consulting/implementation prior experience with on premise systems such as SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion etc
6-8 years of hands-on Modelling Experience in Anaplan (with exposure to a minimum of 4 end-to-end implementations on Anaplan) focused on but not limited to Financial Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning and HR/Sales/Incentive Compensation Management or similar use cases.
Strong knowledge of Excel. Including an understanding of how to develop macros, and model large data sets utilizing Lookups and SumIf functions.
Microsoft Office Suite expertise
Certified Solution Architect in Anaplan is Must
Strong understanding of multi-dimensional data architecture
Experience in managing team
