In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support (remote and on site) to our SNSPD (Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detector) systems’ customers, and ensuring their inquiries and issues are addressed promptly and effectively. As this product embeds a lot of different technologies (cryogenics, high vacuum, RF electronic, optical, PLC software, high-level software, network, etc.), this position requires a broad technical expertise, in addition to good communication skills and customer-centered approach.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical support requests, specifically on our cryogenic single photon detectors. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers, providing timely and accurate solutions. 
• Handle product training and installation, as well as guidance to customer, remotely or on customer site. 
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, Test and Manufacturing department, to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 
• Document customer interactions, including issues reported and solutions provided.
• Continuously improve customer support processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.  
• Assist in the development of support documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to help customers troubleshoot common issues independently.

What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is looking to hire a Lead Commissioning Engineering to join it's Clean Energy Deployment team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Nexamp projects are safely and reliably energized on schedule, moving through project milestones, including, Mechanical Completion (MC), Permission to Operate (PTO) and Substantial Completion (SC). You will leverage deep SCADA and data acquisition expertise across utility-scale and distributed generation projects to validate that assets perform as modeled and as represented to financing partners, banks, and utilities, and to close gaps in our growing SCADA pipeline. By owning the technical review and implementation of SCADA and related controls, you will help turn projects on, maintain critical deadlines, and confirm that operational performance aligns with contractual, market, and internal performance requirements. 

We are supporting hybrid work out of either our Boston or Chicago offices. You will report to the Director, Commissioning Engineering. 

What you’ll do:

• Independently leading the commissioning of PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from pre-energization through project operational turnover.
• Acting as a primary troubleshooting resource for the Commissioning Engineering and Field Commissioning teams, providing expert level support on common electrical, protection, and SCADA/communications issues surfaced during commissioning and early operations.
• Managing project commissioning schedules in partnership with Deployment, SCADA, Engineering, and external contractors, ensuring that inverter, DAS, SCADA, BESS, and protection system commissioning stays aligned with construction and interconnection milestones.
• Providing remote support and occasional field support for DAS, inverter, BESS and SCADA commissioning as well as witness tests.
• Reviewing and validating site performance of assets once live, including managing or executing performance testing and identifying and troubleshooting underperformance.
• Lead Data Acquisition System (DAS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system design for PV, BESS, and hybrid PV+BESS (DC- and AC-coupled) projects, including interpreting market, utility, and ISO SCADA/telemetry and controls requirements and coordinating the procurement and installation of required telecom, hardware, and software infrastructure.
• Assist in the development of SCADA engineering standards for utility scale applications.
• Mentor and train junior commissioning team members and field technicians to increase their capabilities.

What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is looking to hire a Lead Commissioning Engineering to join it's Clean Energy Deployment team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Nexamp projects are safely and reliably energized on schedule, moving through project milestones, including, Mechanical Completion (MC), Permission to Operate (PTO) and Substantial Completion (SC). You will leverage deep SCADA and data acquisition expertise across utility-scale and distributed generation projects to validate that assets perform as modeled and as represented to financing partners, banks, and utilities, and to close gaps in our growing SCADA pipeline. By owning the technical review and implementation of SCADA and related controls, you will help turn projects on, maintain critical deadlines, and confirm that operational performance aligns with contractual, market, and internal performance requirements. 

We are supporting hybrid work out of either our Boston, Chicago, or NYC offices. You will report to the Director, Commissioning Engineering. 

What you’ll do:

• Independently leading the commissioning of PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from pre-energization through project operational turnover.
• Acting as a primary troubleshooting resource for the Commissioning Engineering and Field Commissioning teams, providing expert level support on common electrical, protection, and SCADA/communications issues surfaced during commissioning and early operations.
• Managing project commissioning schedules in partnership with Deployment, SCADA, Engineering, and external contractors, ensuring that inverter, DAS, SCADA, BESS, and protection system commissioning stays aligned with construction and interconnection milestones.
• Providing remote support and occasional field support for DAS, inverter, BESS and SCADA commissioning as well as witness tests.
• Reviewing and validating site performance of assets once live, including managing or executing performance testing and identifying and troubleshooting underperformance.
• Lead Data Acquisition System (DAS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system design for PV, BESS, and hybrid PV+BESS (DC- and AC-coupled) projects, including interpreting market, utility, and ISO SCADA/telemetry and controls requirements and coordinating the procurement and installation of required telecom, hardware, and software infrastructure.
• Assist in the development of SCADA engineering standards for utility scale applications.
• Mentor and train junior commissioning team members and field technicians to increase their capabilities.
• Support continuous improvement of networking equipment, products, and quality assurance processes by conducting research, contributing to commissioning best-practices documentation, and actively sharing experience and best practices.

What you’ll bring: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent education/certification background.
• At least 7 years of experience designing and commissioning electrical power systems, or network design.
• At least 4 years of experience in renewables such as Solar, Wind, and Storage,

• Knowledge of inverter parameter setting procedures.

What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is looking to hire a Lead Commissioning Engineering to join it's Clean Energy Deployment team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Nexamp projects are safely and reliably energized on schedule, moving through project milestones, including, Mechanical Completion (MC), Permission to Operate (PTO) and Substantial Completion (SC). • Independently leading the commissioning of PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from pre-energization through project operational turnover.
• Acting as a primary troubleshooting resource for the Commissioning Engineering and Field Commissioning teams, providing expert level support on common electrical, protection, and SCADA/communications issues surfaced during commissioning and early operations.

What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is seeking an Solar Protection & Controls Engineer (Electrical Performance Engineer) who will be a deep technical independent contributor responsible for improving the reliability, availability, and performance of Nexamp’s operating portfolio of distributed and utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets, currently exceeding 2 GW under management and in construction. What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is growing our Electrical Engineering team, and looking to hire a Lead Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible for review of PV and ESS projects design by providing technical expertise in the interconnection, construction, and assisting in the commissioning of distributed energy resources (DERs).  This role requires an Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical infrastructure up to 345kV, including in-depth knowledge and expertise protective relaying and controls, and a strong working knowledge in applicable national codes including NEC and NESC. What you’ll do:  

• Specify and review equipment shop drawings for switchgear, transformers, reclosers and other major electrical equipment.
• Perform advanced electrical modeling in ETAP and AmpCalc to coordinate system protection, determine fault-duty ratings, calculate arc-flash hazards, and run step/touch grounding analysis
• Manage scope of work for 3rd party electrical engineers including but not limited to studies; protection coordination, power flow, arc flash, Step/touch grounding analysis, PSCAD and PSSE modeling, and substation design
• Provide technical support to Nexamp Development, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) departments for the entire life cycle of a project including development, permitting, construction, and asset management phases
• Support the project Engineering and Design Engineering team:

  • Assist with code interpretation and Requests for Information (RFI) responses

What we’re looking for: 

Nexamp is seeking an Electrical Performance Engineer who will be a deep technical independent contributor responsible for improving the reliability, availability, and performance of Nexamp’s operating portfolio of distributed and utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets, currently exceeding 2 GW under management and in construction. In this role, you will apply advanced electrical engineering analysis to operating systems in the field, performing root-cause failure analysis, diagnosing complex and recurring issues across inverters, transformers, protection systems, controls, and balance-of-plant equipment. You'll identify systemic risks, validate corrective actions, and drive data-backed recommendations to reduce downtime, prevent repeat failures, and extend asset life. You'll also be responsible for optimizing control schemes and operating strategies, translating observed field behavior and performance data into improved settings, logic, and operational standards. Working closely with Operations, Asset Management, Controls, and OEMs, you will bridge the gap between design intent and real-world performance to ensure the fleet operates safely and reliably, while maximizing value throughout the project lifecycle. 

This is a hybrid role out of our Lawrence, MA, or Boston, MA office, and will report to the Director, Performance Engineering.

What you’ll do:  

• Own plant protection, controls, and compliance strategy by reviewing and coordinating protection settings across OCPDs, relays, inverters, and plant controllers; managing required setting changes with third-party vendors; and securing utility approvals to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Engage directly with utilities on complex grid-interaction issues related to protection schemes, relay settings, and plant control behavior; diagnose misalignment between plant and utility protection philosophies; and negotiate technically sound solutions that optimize availability and interconnection compliance.
• Improve system reliability and energy performance by evaluating and optimizing protection schemes, breaker coordination, relay timing, circuit configurations, and inverter control functions (Volt/VAR, Volt/Watt, frequency-watt, ramp rates, ride-through).
• Partner with Engineering to improve design standards and fleet consistency, including relay database templates, equipment specifications, standard drawings, and protection philosophies, with a focus on maintainability, operability, and lifecycle cost.
• Lead data-driven reliability and loss reduction efforts by analyzing inverter logs, relay events, EMS dispatch data, and waveform captures; conducting root-cause and 8D investigations; quantifying production and financial impacts; and recommending corrective actions, upgrades, or repowering strategies.
• Own fleetwide monitoring and diagnostics strategy by refining alert thresholds, logic, and escalation workflows to reduce false positives, minimize alert fatigue, and accelerate incident response.
• Develop analytical models, diagnostic frameworks, and performance standards for Nexamp’s PV and BESS fleet, integrating power systems engineering with data analytics to identify constraints and improvement opportunities.
• Influence organizational capability and decision-making by representing Performance Engineering in cross-functional initiatives, providing actionable feedback to development and engineering teams on design and procurement decisions, and mentoring junior analysts through training and documented best practices.

Compensation

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp ranges from $125,000 - $135,000. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-fidelity, automated test procedures on both the component and system level. You will work closely with engineering staff and a team of skilled electro-mechanical technicians to advance our testing capabilities and ensure the highest levels quality are achieved as we continue drive scalability into our production operations. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build a broad range of test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream - from system level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component level in process validation
• Develop, execute, and manage test eco-system to de-risk hardware and ensure product meets target reliability levels and ultimate design intent

About the Job

Senior Software Engineers independently drive the delivery of a variety of embedded and/or safety critical software integrated in to our products. This includes device management, drivers, firmware, power management, networking, and contingency management and recovery. We expect Senior Software Engineers to demonstrate end-to-end outcome ownership at the major subsystem or system level. Senior Software Engineers contribute as a technical lead to the rapid architecting, design, delivery, support, and evolution of next generation autonomous platforms through their entire product life-cycle.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement trusted, safety critical Vehicle Management Systems that balance constraints, restrictions and requirements in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Design and implement scalable vehicle sub-systems including sensor processing, state estimation, contingency management, actuation, payload interfaces, and mission systems interfaces.
• Contribute to the design and development of existing software components across Anduril, with the aim of developing components that are re-usable across multiple Anduril product lines.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
• Develop device drivers and interfaces to a variety of sensors and actuators.
• Create test and simulation fixtures that operate with both software-and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, including as a mentor for Software Engineers from differing backgrounds.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams up to 20% of the time.
