The Applied AI Engineering team at DevRev is responsible for architecting and building solutions that deliver the optimal experience for our customers. As customers progress through their DevRev journey, they may require integrations with enterprise systems, workflow automation, or custom enhancements to the platform.

Team Overview

The Performance Measurement team is a core part of the Enterprise Performance pod, responsible for building a holistic measurement framework that enables advertisers to accurately value their ad spend across different screens. Our mission is to move beyond basic metrics to provide deep insights into advertiser outcomes like incrementality and cross-screen attribution.

The team:

• Builds and maintains a holistic measurement framework encompassing pixels, attribution, Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and Incrementality.
• Improves data quality by facilitating pixel management and increasing landing rates to ensure high-quality attribution.
• Integrates 3rd-party solutions to offer advertisers trusted external validation of campaign performance.
• Develops advanced solutions for incrementality across both CTV and web environments to prove the true value of ad spend.

As a Software Engineer in the Measurement & Attribution team, you will contribute to the development of our core performance measurement infrastructure. You will work on unifying delivery insights across web and CTV, helping to bridge the gap between different advertising environments. As a Senior Software Engineer, your missions will be to:

What will you do?

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, your mission will be:

• Improve existing ML library & tools allowing to explore and analyze more and more data and provide accurate feedback on the Teads activities.
• Create, design, develop, test and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably.
• Design, develop, and implement ML models and algorithms with a focus on robustness, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists to identify and apply effective machine learning techniques and strategies for improved system performance.
• Mentor other team members to improve their autonomy and Software Engineering skills.
• Collaborate with variety of teams for production cases to develop services from design to production.
• Make sure the software is in good hands by writing, running and automating tests (unit, functional, load...).
• Keep up to date with the latest Machine Learning technologies to make sure we constantly improve our ML system.

What will you bring to the team?

• Strong programming skills with a focus on Python, Java, Scala and proficiency in software engineering practices such as testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience implementing machine learning algorithms, particularly in production environments.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of Data Engineering tools (e.g. Spark, Airflow, ...).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,..).
• Performance engineering capabilities, including profiling and optimizing algorithms and systems for high efficiency and low latency.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• A Master’s or PhD in SC/Math.

• The AI department currently consists of 50 people who are a mix of data scientists, machine learning and backend engineers
• The department provides technologies that power outcomes of campaigns with a total yearly turn over of $1.7B
• Runs large scale prediction and control systems for ad delivery, dealing with millions of live ads, doing more than a billion predictions per second based on large on-line trained models being updated every 5 minutes

What will you do?

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to:

• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to research, develop, and deploy experiments, features and enhancements with a high impact on our global revenue.
  
  
• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor your code in production autonomously and reliably.
  
  
• Work with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager and other teams to frame projects and be accountable for their execution.
  
  
• Obtain a good understanding of the business to provide relevant solutions to clients.
  
  
• Be a work facilitator and help communication inside and outside Teads.
  
  
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and architectures. If they can solve a problem Teads has, propose ways to implement them into our current software engineering process.

Running on major cloud providers (namely AWS, Azure, and GCP) as well as on-premise data centers, we are a growing team intentionally composed of diverse skills sets (development obviously, but also data store, software reliability, operational automation, etc.) which aims at delivering a first-class platform for our product development teams. We embrace Reliability Engineering, toil is our enemy while automation at scale is our main ally.

What will you do?

As part of the Cloud Foundation team, you’ll be the master architect of our core infrastructure, with a primary focus on global networking and automated provisioning. You’ll bridge the gap between our public clouds (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centers by building the high-performance connectivity and “Infrastructure as Code” pipelines that tie them together. Your work will ensure that our network is not only secure and resilient but also invisible to the feature teams who rely on your automated workflows to spin up environments at scale. You’ll thrive on solving complex routing challenges and streamlining the lifecycle of our resources, always striving for maximum efficiency and speed. You’ll focus on hardening our Kubernetes clusters and Kafka infrastructure to ensure our microservices dance in harmony. Your mission is to abstract away the complexity of the underlying infrastructure, providing a seamless “paved road” for developers to deploy and scale their applications with confidence. You’ll obsess over low latency, high throughput, and rock-solid resilience. If you enjoy fine-tuning resource limits or optimizing message durability while sharing your expertise with the wider engineering community, you’ll fit right in.
