About the Role:
We’re a growing SaaS startup building our security team from the ground up. We’re looking for a hands-on Product Security Engineer who enjoys breaking things (responsibly) and helping teams fix them fast.
This role is very practical and impact-driven. You’ll be embedded close to the product and engineering teams, proactively attacking our own systems before anyone else does. If you like moving fast, owning problems end-to-end, and thinking like a real attacker, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:

About the role:
As our Lead AI Test Automation Specialist, you'll develop testing strategies, evaluation frameworks, and quality metrics specifically designed for LLM-powered applications. This role requires a unique blend of QA expertise, understanding of GenAI behaviour, and automation skills to ensure our AI features are reliable, accurate, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities:

About the Role:

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer / Platform Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain a resilient, scalable infrastructure supporting our applications across multiple cloud providers. In this role, you will design and implement infrastructure solutions, automate operational processes, and work closely with development teams to ensure reliable, efficient systems that scale with our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Argo and CircleCI to enable rapid, reliable deployments
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments, ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization
- Administer and optimize cloud databases including MongoDB, Redis, RDS, and other data stores for performance and reliability
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to identify and resolve issues before they impact users
- Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual toil and improve system reliability
- Conduct incident response and post-mortem analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with development teams to design systems with reliability, scalability, and operational excellence in mind
- Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve platform capabilities
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
- Demonstrated expertise with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Argo and/or CircleCI
- Solid understanding of database technologies including MongoDB, Redis, and relational databases (RDS)
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)
- Experience implementing and managing OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for distributed tracing, metrics, and logging
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of security hardening and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience with cost optimization in cloud infrastructure
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure or DevOps projects

What You’ll Do: Build and Scale DevRev’s Platform
- Engage with internal customers around cloud native application and infrastructure design to ensure services are built with scalability, cost optimization and security as primary considerations
- Design and support infrastructure as code solutions using OpenTofu and other automation frameworks.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters at scale, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
- Own cost optimization across cloud environments, implementing strategies to balance performance with efficiency.
- Contribute to the evolution of DevRev’s multi-cloud and multi-tenant strategy, ensuring compliance and scalability.
- Mentor engineers, teach best practices, and influence DevRev’s platform architecture decisions.
What You’ll Need: Strong Foundations in Cloud and Platform Engineering
- 10 years in overall technical roles with at least 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
- Experience in leadership or mentor roles.
- Deep knowledge of Terraform/OpenTou for managing infrastructure in a zero console environment.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, including upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Practical expertise with Argo CD or similar GitOps tools for continuous delivery.
- Proven track record of cost optimization in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and incident management.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, or similar).
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Bonus Points If You Have: Expanding the Impact
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) for secure service-to-service communication.
- Background in multi-cloud operations and hybrid deployments.
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
- Contributions to open-source communities in Kubernetes, Argo CD, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with advanced cloud cost management tools and FinOps practices.
