About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. You’ll take ownership of our AWS-based environments, build scalable automation with Terraform and Jenkins, and help us maintain secure, high-performing systems.
You’ll have a real voice in infrastructure decisions and the freedom to implement your ideas.
Your Daily Work:
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform / Terragrunt
- Build & optimize Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD
- Automate with Puppet, Shell, and Python
- Monitor performance with Grafana and Prometheus
- Troubleshoot issues & collaborate with developers
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Terragrunt
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Linux, and Puppet
- Scripting skills (Shell or Python)
Nice to Have:
- CloudFormation, Packer, Prometheus, Postgres/MySQL administration

ABOUT THE ROLE
Kaseya is looking for a Software Engineer I to join our R&D team working on our industry-leading Backup product.
This is an opportunity to build a strong foundation in backend development and cloud-based systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop, test, and maintain reliable backup services, while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies like cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
You'll be supported through mentorship and code reviews while contributing to systems where reliability, performance, and scalability matter.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of professional backend software engineering experience
- Strong willingness to learn one
- Fundamental understanding of SQL databases (e.g. MySQL)
- Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of core programming concepts: data structures, algorithms, OOP
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments
- Exposure to automated testing concepts (unit or integration)
- English proficiency at B1–B2 level for communication and documentation
Nice to Have
- Nice to have experience with Golang or PHP
- Exposure to any public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Docker or containerisation concepts
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Awareness of Kubernetes, even at a conceptual level
- Introductory knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Understanding of microservices architecture concepts
- Awareness of basic security principles

About the Role:
Kaseya is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (with Golang) to build the new Backup product.
As a Engineer, you'll take ownership of your code and collaborate with a skilled team of developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals. You'll be recognized not only for delivering robust, high-performance services but also for actively driving improvements in product quality and engineering processes.
This is a role for engineers who thrive in fast-moving agile environments, embrace accountability, and are eager to work on systems that require performance, reliability, and scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Take full ownership of backend feature development using Golang, from design through deployment and support
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodology to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver value incrementally
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and performant microservices and APIs
- Resolve reported defects efficiently while delivering features that delight users
- Drive and uphold best practices in code quality, security, performance, and maintainability
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring within the engineering team
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with one or more of the following: C/C++/Java/Ruby/Python/R/Scala
- 1–3 years of professional experience with Golang
- Strong understanding of SQL databases (preferably MySQL), including query optimization and performance tuning
- Deep knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms in real-world use
- Experience with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucene, or OpenSearch
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies (e.g., OpenStack)
- Demonstrated use of professional software engineering best practices across the full SDLC: coding standards, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operations
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS - Exposure to GraphQL, RESTful API design, and service-oriented architecture
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm)
- Background in storage, backup, or disaster recovery systems is a strong plus
