We’re looking for a Head of Brand Design and Creative who is strategic, thrives for creative excellence and is operationally effective to be responsible for defining Wave’s brand expression at scale. You will build up and lead a high-performing creative team, establish strong creative processes, and ensure our brand supports Wave’s rapid growth across Africa.

In this role, you'll: 

• Define and lead Wave’s brand design strategy, ensuring it supports business objectives across all markets

About this Role

GiveDirectly’s Fundraising team is responsible for unlocking significant, sustained funding to scale direct cash transfers globally. As we scale, our fundraising systems must become increasingly rigorous, automated, and compounding. Today, many of our core fundraising metrics and analyses require manual effort; this role will help transform that reality.

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Data (Fundraising & Marketing) to serve as the primary strategic data partner to our fundraising and marketing teams. You will combine deep fundraising context with strong technical expertise to define the right questions, establish durable source-of-truth metrics, and build leveraged data products that reduce ad hoc work over time. You will function as a senior individual contributor with significant scope and autonomy.

You will directly own significant data modeling and transformation work within the data lakehouse. You will be responsible for building the curated data models that power reporting, forecasting, and decision-making. Our data infrastructure is built on AWS and Databricks, with dashboards and visualizations in Tableau. You will primarily use SQL to query data and contribute to data pipelines, and Python notebooks for deeper analysis. 

This is a full-time, globally remote position with travel 2–3 times per year for team retreats or planning sessions.

Core Responsibilities

Data Product and Metrics Ownership

• Set vision and priorities for how data supports fundraising and marketing strategy, based on a deep understanding of GiveDirectly’s fundraising model, donor lifecycle, and growth strategy, across revenue streams
• Define, standardize, and document core fundraising and marketing KPIs (e.g., retention, LTV, revenue forecasting metrics) to drive fundraising goals 
• Design and build robust data models in the warehouse that serve as the source of truth for fundraising reporting - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
• Establish clear, trusted source-of-truth datasets and metric logic used consistently across Fundraising, Finance, and Leadership, continually folding learnings in to update the metrics and definitions
• Identify recurring analytical needs and convert them into scalable, automated data products
• Scope and prioritize fundraising data products in partnership with Fundraising and Marketing Data stakeholders
• Partner with data engineering on upstream data quality and pipeline improvements, while owning the downstream analytical layer
• Continuously reduce ad hoc reporting by investing in durable systems that compound in value over time

Strategic Fundraising and Marketing Analytics

• Serve as the primary data partner to fundraising and marketing leadership, informing strategy across acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion
• Build and maintain revenue forecasts and donor cohort models to guide annual planning and budget allocation
• Support channel investment decisions with clear ROI frameworks, experiment design, and performance analysis
• Proactively surface decision-relevant insights, even when questions are not fully formed

Donor & Revenue Insights

• Conduct deep-dive analyses into donor cohorts, retention drivers, churn patterns, and cost per dollar raised to drive continuous improvement on fundraising performance
• Evaluate marketing and fundraising initiatives using appropriate analytical methods (including experimentation where feasible, though not all channels support large-scale testing)
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders that drive fundraising improvements
• Surface high-leverage opportunities to improve conversion, retention, and revenue durability

Data Infrastructure & Platform Contribution

• Collaborate with data engineers and analytics peers to improve data quality, access, and trust
• Partner with the Salesforce Lead to ensure CRM data structure and integrity support accurate reporting and scalable downstream modeling
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap for fundraising data architecture, ensuring systems are designed for scalability and compounding insight generation over time
• Contribute to improvements in GiveDirectly’s data capabilities such as adopting conversational analytics

Compensation

Role Summary

The Community Manager will be responsible for leading ALX’s community activation strategy in Kenya, with a strong focus on ambassador activation, learner and alumni engagement, community-led recruitment, and impact storytelling.

ALX Kenya is seeking a highly analytical, execution-focused Performance Marketing Specialist to drive learner acquisition and growth across Kenya.

This role is designed for a marketer who is deeply fluent in paid acquisition, conversion tracking, attribution, and campaign optimization, and who measures success through pipeline quality, enrollments, acquisition efficiency, and return on investment.

The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of media buying, data infrastructure, analytics, and growth experimentation. They will be responsible not only for launching and optimizing campaigns, but also for ensuring the integrity of the tracking ecosystem, strengthening visibility across the acquisition funnel, and enabling faster, smarter decision-making through robust reporting and insights. Specific Responsibilities

Performance Media Strategy and Campaign Execution

• Lead the strategy, setup, execution, and optimization of paid digital campaigns across key performance channels, including Meta, Google, and other relevant acquisition platforms.
• Build and manage full-funnel campaign strategies that drive awareness, lead generation, and learner enrollment across multiple markets.
• Own campaign architecture, audience targeting, budget allocation, bid strategies, and spend efficiency to maximize growth outcomes.
• Run disciplined A/B tests across creatives, messaging, audiences, placements, and landing pages to continuously improve results.
• Optimize campaigns against core commercial and growth metrics, including cost per lead, cost per acquisition, conversion rates, and return on ad spend.
• Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns while reducing inefficiencies across underperforming segments.

Conversion Tracking, Attribution, and Technical Setup

• Design, implement, and maintain a reliable tracking and attribution framework to support accurate performance measurement across all digital campaigns.
• Manage tools and systems such as Meta Pixel, Google Tags, Google Tag Manager, and conversion event tracking across landing pages and enrollment funnels.
• Ensure accurate end-to-end tracking of user journeys, lead submissions, and enrollment conversion events.
• Monitor tracking integrity and proactively resolve issues related to broken events, tagging errors, attribution gaps, or data inconsistencies.
• Strengthen campaign measurement foundations to improve confidence in reporting, optimization, and investment decisions.

Performance Analytics and Dashboard Reporting

• Develop and maintain performance dashboards that provide real-time visibility into campaign results across channels, markets, and audience segments.
• Build reporting structures that track funnel performance from first click to qualified lead to enrollment.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as CTR, CPL, CPA, conversion rates, funnel progression, and ROI.
• Translate campaign and funnel performance data into clear, actionable reporting for marketing stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Improve organizational visibility into acquisition performance through high-quality dashboards, reporting discipline, and insight generation.
  
  

Insight Generation and Growth Optimization

• Produce weekly and monthly performance reports that surface trends, opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
• Identify patterns in audience behavior, creative effectiveness, channel performance, and funnel drop-off points to inform strategic optimization.
• Use data and experimentation to uncover new growth opportunities and improve acquisition efficiency over time.
• Generate insights that support better decision-making across learner acquisition, campaign investment, and market prioritisation.

• Work closely with Marketing, Recruitment, and Community teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with recruitment pipelines, market priorities, and enrollment targets.
• Support broader market activation efforts, community initiatives, and events with targeted performance campaigns where relevant.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging, targeting, and learner journeys are aligned with ALX’s brand and value proposition.

Skill Requirements - Essential

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, paid acquisition, or a related digital growth role.
• Demonstrated success in planning, managing, and optimising paid campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Strong hands-on experience with conversion tracking, attribution tools, and tagging frameworks, including Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager.
• Proven ability to build and interpret performance dashboards using tools such as Looker Studio or similar analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn campaign data into clear recommendations and optimisation strategies.
• Experience running structured A/B tests and using performance insights to guide scaling decisions.
• High attention to detail and strong comfort working across data, systems, and campaign operations.
• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Candidates must be based in Nairobi or willing to relocate to Nairobi.
• This is an in-person role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work onsite as part of the Nairobi team.

JOB PURPOSE – SUMMARY

We are seeking a Junior Client Performance & Analytics to own end-to-end client performance management, analytics oversight, dashboard governance, and insight delivery across our CRM performance and Marketing Intelligence platforms. This role consolidates client success management, performance reporting, dashboard customization, and advanced marketing analytics into a single accountable position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Client Success & Account Stewardship (CRM Platform)

• Lead enterprise client engagement: Act as primary contact, lead reporting/governance sessions, and manage stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery across markets.
• Oversee performance & analytics: Direct campaign and CRM reporting, ensuring data quality and consistency in multi-market environments.
• Manage operations & SLAs: Coordinate technical escalations with Engineering/DevOps, monitor SLA adherence (incidents, MTTR, ticket resolution), and mitigate operational risks.

Digital Media Reporting & Dashboard Customization (Marketing Intelligence Platform)

• Design audience-specific dashboards: Translate stakeholder requirements into KPI frameworks and tailored dashboards for C-suite, marketing leaders, specialists, and agencies.
• Ensure reporting depth & consistency: Deliver granular, cross-channel reporting (campaign to audience level) while maintaining standardized, reusable templates across clients.

Performance Analytics & Insight Generation

• Analyze performance & ROI: Conduct cross-channel ROI and attribution analysis, diagnose performance drivers, and investigate anomalies across spend, CTR, CPA, conversions, engagement, and sentiment.

PROFESSION, TECHNICAL SKILL AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education

Experience

• 2+ years in a combination of:
