Key Responsibilities:

• Data Quality Analysis & Remediation: Collect, extract, and clean data from various sources to prepare comprehensive datasets for analysis This includes handling missing data, removing inconsistencies, and ensuring the data is structured correctly for further analysis.
• Analyze data using appropriate statistical techniques and tools to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in the information. This could involve anything from simple descriptive analysis to more complex exploratory data analysis
• Validate and cross-check analysis results to ensure accuracy. This involves verifying calculations, comparing findings against external or historical data for consistency, and investigating any irregularities in the results. Data Analysts are expected to be vigilant about data quality during analysis, catching any issues that might have passed initial data processing.
• Create clear, concise reports and visualizations to communicate findings. While the focus is on analysis rather than just creating dashboards, analysts will use tools like Power BI to illustrate key insights. They should present data in an understandable way for internal stakeholders, writing summaries that interpret the numbers and highlight important conclusions.
• Work closely with statisticians and other team members to interpret results and refine analysis approaches. This collaborative approach ensures that the analysis aligns with methodological standards and project goals. Analysts may adjust their methods based on feedback, contribute to discussions on what the data means, and help integrate their findings into broader census reports.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar. This educational background provides a solid foundation in data analysis techniques and statistical reasoning.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, particularly SQL for database querying, Excel for data manipulation, and programming in Python or R for more advanced analysis and automation. Experience with statistical libraries or packages (e.g., pandas, R’s tidyverse) is highly valuable.
• Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth data analysis and not just generate visuals. We need analysts who can write complex queries, perform calculations, and apply statistical tests if necessary – beyond assembling dashboard components. An analytical mindset and attention to detail are crucial for interpreting data correctly and spotting outliers or errors.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools, especially Power BI, to aid in presenting analysis outcomes. While creating polished dashboards is not the primary focus, the analyst should be capable of using Power BI (and similar tools like Tableau if needed) to turn data into interpretable charts and graphs for reporting purposes. They should also understand data visualization best practices to communicate information effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain data findings in layman’s terms. A collaborative attitude is important, as Data Analysts will frequently interact with other teams (IT, field operations, subject-matter experts) to gather context and ensure that analyses meet the needs of the census project. They should be proactive in sharing insights and contributing to data-driven decisions within the organization.

About the Job

The Product Manager, Accounts Lifecycle, will be the strategic owner of the entire merchant journey, from initial sign-up and onboarding (Activation) through ongoing engagement and retention. A core focus of this role is to skillfully balance the necessity for a world-class Merchant Experience (MX) with stringent Compliance and Risk requirements (e.g., KYC/AML). This individual must be highly adept at navigating complex trade-offs and driving alignment across multiple, interdependent product and risk teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Product Management specifically focusing on customer/merchant lifecycle, growth, or product-led growth (PLG) initiatives, ideally within FinTech, Payments, or an equivalent high-compliance industry.
• Technical expertise is a significant advantage: Ability to understand technical architecture and integration points to facilitate meaningful discussions with engineers.
• Strong organizational skills to strategically navigate and prioritize conflicting demands from multiple stakeholders (e.g., business goals vs. risk constraints).
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus and drive outcomes across large, interdependent organizational structures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain Expertise (Critical): Direct product management experience within FinTech, Payments, or a similarly regulated industry that requires balancing user experience with strict Compliance, Risk, or Fraud requirements (e.g., KYC/AML).
• Technical Expertise (Strong Plus): A background in engineering, computer science, or demonstrated ability to understand technical architecture, APIs, and data flows to facilitate deep, productive discussions with technical teams.
• Account Lifecycle Specialization: Specific experience building or optimizing products related to core lifecycle stages like Onboarding, Activation, Offboarding

Responsibilities

• Lifecycle Strategy & Roadmap Ownership:
• Define the vision, strategic goals, and execution roadmap for optimizing the end-to-end Merchant Account Lifecycle, with a primary focus on maximizing Onboarding success, Activation rate, and Onboarding Throughput
• Synthesize market trends, competitive analysis, and business goals to prioritize high-impact lifecycle initiatives.
• Risk, Compliance, and Experience Balancing:
• Crucially balance the Merchant Experience needs (speed, clarity, ease-of-use) against strict requirements mandated by Risk, Fraud, and Compliance policies (e.g., KYC/AML checks, documentation needs).
• Collaborate closely with Risk and Compliance teams to design product processes that embed necessary controls with the lowest possible friction for the merchant.
• Proactively anticipate and translate new regulatory and policy changes into clear product requirements and required experience updates.
• Product Discovery & Execution:
• Lead the product discovery process, generating deep insights through merchant feedback, data analysis, and user research.
• Translate strategic goals into clear, actionable Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and design teams.
• Own the prioritization of features, fixes, and experiments, strategically managing a backlog that is often subject to frequently changing demands from business and regulatory forces.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Navigation:
• Act as a highly effective navigator and consensus builder across interdependent core product teams (e.g., Payments, Core Platform) to ensure a unified and consistent merchant experience.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance.

The Financial Operations team manages all customer funds across the region, ensuring that funds are placed appropriately, liquidity is managed correctly, transactions are reconciled and all manual operations to support customer fund flows are executed to an extremely high standard.

As we expand across more countries, we have developed a global offering (“Global Accounts”) for our merchants, allowing them to move funds seamlessly across currencies and leverage any of Xendit’s global services from within one dashboard. This role will be the main owner of all regional fund flows, overseeing float management, liquidity forecasting, day to day operations, cross border and FX operations. The focus will be on the strategy and management of this, while execution will primarily be done by the existing operations team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course, with 5-8 years of relevant experience in a start-up/fast paced environment or within the payments, fintech, or financial services spaces
• At least 3 years working in cross-border and FX operations
• Able to get your hands dirty, getting into the weeds of the operations to ensure they are done in the most efficient and effective manner
• Comfortable dealing with large datasets and data analysis

Responsibilities

Design & execute the fund management & liquidity strategy for Global Accounts operations

• Understand all fund flows, their volumes, and their liquidity requirements, in order to design the right strategy to support these operations
• Design & execute on the strategy to manage liquidity in the most operationally and cost effective manner for Xendit. Adjust strategy as needed
• Monitor funds across the region through the day to ensure correct allocation across accounts and currencies

Monitor Global Accounts & FX operations to ensure seamless execution

• Execution of Global Accounts & FX operations will be done by the existing Financial Operations team. Oversee and guide the operations to ensure that there are no errors or disruptions to merchant flows
• Create or update SOPs as required to correct operations and ensure they all follow best practices
• Address and manage any operational issues or escalations independently

Operational improvements & reporting

• Focus on the processes and tooling to enable the execution of cross border fund flows and liquidity operations
• Report on Global Accounts operations and liquidity statuses to the Financial Operations Head and to broader leadership as required
• ⁠⁠Own and drive Global Accounts & FX metrics such as efficiency and accuracy

Work closely with various internal teams to drive success

• The reconciliations of all fund flows are done by a centralised team. Work closely with this team on all Global Accounts / FX recons to ensure they have the information they need and to address any questions / unreconciled items that arise
• As the product continues to evolve, partner closely with the product team to give feedback on the product and provide FinOps’ input and requests, to ensure future builds and evolutions meet our operational requirements
• Solve complex problems by working across product, regional partnerships, treasury, compliance, sales and growth teams to ensure FinOps is able to support all aspects of our Global Accounts
