IEM is currently seeking a Quality Systems Technician for our Jacksonville FL. locations and will report into the Quality Systems Leader. The Quality Systems Technician plays a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital quality systems, smart tools, and quality infrastructure. Reporting to the Lead Quality Systems Engineer, this role focuses on setting up systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and enabling the smooth integration of quality processes within manufacturing operations.

Please note: This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Jacksonville offices and does not offer remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup, configuration, and validation of quality systems, including smart tools, AI cameras, and digital inspection devices.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to EQMS platforms, smart inspection systems, and quality data capture tools.
• Work with engineering, IT, and quality teams to integrate new tools and systems into production processes.
• Help build and maintain process flows, control plans, and digital documentation related to quality system infrastructure.
• Support the digitization, automation, and standardization of quality and traceability records, including inspection data, testing logs, serialization records, and process verification checkpoints.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user guides related to quality systems.
• Participate in pilot runs and process trials to validate functionality and integration of smart quality tools.
• Monitor system performance and escalate recurring issues or improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups, system changes, and configuration parameters.
• Provide technical support to shop floor users to ensure quality systems are functioning correctly.
• Assist in quality-related training sessions for new tools or systems implementation.
• Coordinate with vendors or suppliers when technical support or software updates are needed for system hardware or software.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the implementation and sustainability of quality system initiatives.
• Ability to develop & update programs and scripts for data validation, data sorting, automation, and creation of dashboards and visual reporting tools. 
• Familiarity with serialization, traceability systems, digital quality records, and manufacturing data management principles is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or technical certification in Quality, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering support role, preferably with exposure to quality or production systems.
• ⁠Experience with programming, scripting, or data visualization tools such as Python, SQL, VBA, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with EQMS platforms, process automation, or smart inspection technologies is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in both hardware and software environments.
• Ability to read technical drawings, flowcharts, and system diagrams.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with engineering, IT, and operations teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with digital tools used in quality systems.
• Good communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or six sigma principles is a plus.

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Network Systems Engineer to assist in the planning, forecasting, and implementation of resource requirements for network systems, including wireless, of moderate complexity. This role involves participating in network planning, architecture design, and engineering, as well as integrating and schematically depicting complete network configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in network planning and architecture design.
• Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, and signaling links into network configurations.
• Evaluate new products and perform network problem resolution.
• Assist in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications.
• Monitor protocol compatibility, perform system tuning, and recommend improvements.
• Work on projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity surrounding network planning, configuration, and optimization.

 About the Role  

Otto Aerospace is seeking a dynamic engineer to join our Aircraft Integration Team.  The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace rapid prototyping, including managing small, dynamic teams, hands-on design, build, and assembly of mockups, prototypes, and test articles, utilizing 3D-printed, wooden, metallic, fiberglass, and carbon-fiber construction.  You will be joining a team developing the world’s most efficient aircraft. What You’ll Do 

• Be a functioning team member within Otto’s Aircraft Integration Team. 
• Manage a small team of rapid prototyping engineers

Who You Are 

Education 

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. 

Experience 

• Minimum 8 years rapid prototype experience, preferably in aerospace 
• Experience managing a small diverse team preferred. 
• Skills in CATIA V5/V6/3DX (or similar); 3DX is preferred. 
• Hands-on experience with shop tools and equipment including drills, saws, lathes, mills, welders, routers, etc. 
• Strong understanding of materials (plastics, woods, metals, composites), their uses, and manufacturing techniques. 
• Overall knowledge of mechanical systems, propulsion, structures, avionics, and key interfaces to aircraft systems common on Part 23 / Part 25 aircraft. 
• Strong knowledge of industry standards with hands-on experience. 
• Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes. 
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-160G, DO-254, and SAE ARP4754A. 
• Familiarity with FAR Part 23 and Part 25 requirements.
