About the role
Roku pioneered TV streaming and continues to innovate and lead the industry. The Roku Channel has us well-positioned to help shape the future of streaming. Continued success relies on investing in the Roku Cloud TV Platform so we deliver high quality streaming TV experience at a global scale.
You will be part of the engineering team responsible for The Roku Channel streaming service and will contribute to building apps and features on multiple platforms like for the FireTV, GoogleTV, web, Samsung, FireTV etc. The projects that you will work on will impact millions of Roku users around the world. All along, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with key product engineering stakeholders across Roku engineering teams, and contribute towards building world class media applications.
The ideal candidate will have endless curiosity and can pair a global mindset with locally relevant execution. You should be a gritty problem solver and self-starter who can drive programs with the product and business teams as well as with external partners. This is a senior software engineering role where you will architect, design, implement and test the run-time and native renderer of Roku's software development kit. You will partner with engineers who build the higher level scripting parts of Roku’s SDK.

Ensure that we can stand behind all APIs exposed by Roku’s software development kit, and manage the evolution of these APIs.

Develop tooling which will allow Roku and 3rd party developers to build great optimized and performant applications to run on the Roku platform.

This is a great role for a Software Engineer, Python / SDET , with a background in developing automated tools and tests on resource constrained hardware platforms. These tools and tests will be used daily to further improve our products and help deliver the highest quality software releases that will be deployed to devices in the field. In this role, you will develop tools that test, monitor, and analyse metrics of millions of players and TV products.
Roku is seeking a versatile Software Engineer, to build out fully automated test suites as well as performance monitoring tools. You will build automation that validates both Roku OS system software and the largest, top‑tier streaming applications that run across Roku TVs and Players, and all the required infrastructure surrounding it. This includes extending existing tests and building new ones to reliably measure memory usage, playback performance, conformance to specifications and so on. You will be also responsible for building and maintaining a small multi-platform device farm that can be used by test and firmware engineers to build and run tests.

Role Description
GFiber Business Analysts are responsible for documenting and driving the use cases in collaboration with the business teams.. The projects are related to software developed by the systems and tools teams and overseeing the development of home routers for GFiber customers. GFiber systems leverage cloud based deployments environments. The suite of systems and tools includes applications (iOS and Android), customer web based portal, back-end systems built on Salesforce, Fiber Management systems, customer agent and ticketing tools, OSS, ERP and billing systems. The wide spectrum of systems and tools provides opportunity for technical growth to business analysts in a fast paced environment. For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. Responsibilities
Define and evolve the frontend architecture for PlayStation client applications on mobile using React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Drive performance optimizations and best practices for rendering, startup time, and UI responsiveness.
Collaborate with native platform engineers (C++/Objective-C/Swift) to design and integrate custom native modules and optimize cross-platform interoperability.
Apply architectural design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP to develop a sustainable and reusable codebase.
Partner with product managers, designers, and researchers to translate user experience requirements into elegant, maintainable solutions.
Establish coding standards, testing strategies, and development patterns that raise the quality bar for frontend engineering.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of software development experience, with significant experience building React Native apps or high-performance JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong expertise in frontend performance profiling, optimization, and debugging.
Passion for delivering world-class user interfaces with exceptional performance.
Deep understanding of cross-platform architecture and how to bridge between JS and native modules.
Proven track record of delivering production-quality mobile or desktop applications with React Native.

As the Senior User Experience Researcher (UXR) for a new direct‑to‑consumer initiative at Bezos Academy, you will play a defining role in how we understand parents, families, and early learners. Focusing on parent and caregiver-facing experiences, you will uncover how software and AI can meaningfully support them and early childhood development. You will help build a new venture from the ground up by leading and executing research that directly informs product strategy and feature priorities.
You will work closely with designers, product managers, and curriculum experts to conduct studies, synthesize insights, and create shared clarity across the team. From exploration to launch and iteration, your work will guide what we build, why we build it, and how it comes to life. Your research will help ensure we are giving parents thoughtful, guided support as they navigate the early years of parenthood, with product experiences grounded in how babies, toddlers, and parents learn during the most critical years of brain development.
