We're seeking someone who thrives on building vibrant developer ecosystems. As a Senior Developer Advocate, you'll use your experience in technical enablement, community-building, and instructional content to engage developers and help them confidently adopt MongoDB technologies.
You’re seasoned at connecting with developers through events, workshops, virtual training, or meetups, and take pride in fostering discovery and delivering value. With a genuine collaborative spirit, you work closely with colleagues across teams, always striving to elevate every member’s success in alignment with MongoDB’s value of Building Together.
A strong communicator and problem-solver, you have 5+ years of experience in roles such as Developer Advocate, Solutions Architect, Software Engineer, Developer Relations, or similar. You’re skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts and can adapt your messaging to developers at all skill levels.
Empower developers: Leverage your deep understanding of database technologies, programming languages, and MongoDB’s core functionality—including Atlas —to guide developers in building impactful solutions through code and content.
Engage through live workshops: Deliver interactive sessions for audiences ranging from 40 to 400 developers, showcasing best practices and hands-on experience with MongoDB.
Community growth: Build relationships with developers, community leaders, industry influencers, and partners to scale our Developer Relations programs and foster new engagement opportunities across India and APAC.
Support user groups and champions: Collaborate with other DevRel teams to grow MongoDB user groups, champion programs, and influencer networks in the region.
Partner with marketing: Work closely with various marketing teams to inform strategies, refine messaging, and create resources that resonate with our developer community.
Technical expertise: A minimum of 5+ years of experience consulting with development teams, complemented by proficiency in database technologies and programming languages.
Hands-on enablement: A proven track record of sharing code and content, creating and leading developer-focused labs, workshops, hackathons, and other hands-on activities.
Presentation excellence: Strong public speaking skills with experience delivering live workshops, webinars, or events (bonus points for live-streaming abilities!).
Engagement strategies: Demonstrated ability to support long-term developer engagement and report on the business impact of initiatives.
Collaborative mindset: You thrive in team environments, building connections across teams and stakeholders to drive impactful results both locally and globally.
Travel-ready: The willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to deliver sessions and support the broader team at in-person events.

Job Description
The Senior Account Manager (SAM) oversees projects within a vertical account team to ensure quality and provide continuity and tactical alignment while also leading high-profile projects from the client through to the project manager and cross-functional team. The SAM will partner with the Account Director to assist brand partners with the development and management of the tactical plan. This role requires a strong awareness of the account’s strategic direction, as well as knowledge of clients’ products and processes. The success of this position relies on the success of the team, meeting clients’ expectations, partnering with Avant colleagues, and individual performance.
What you’ll do:
Ensure quality and consistency across multiple tactics that are led by both Avant and external partners
Provide oversight and consultation to Account Managers as it relates to project execution
Act as the in-house client at all times by communicating client expectations to the crossfunctional team
Act as the Customer Management Office (CMO) liaison within the respective account (vertical)
Provide invoicing information and budget status updates to clients as requested
Provide direction and review job scope changes and closeouts as necessary
Provide peer-to-peer channel insights and recommendations
Drive strategic partnerships with clients by having and applying knowledge of their products and objectives
Lead and actively participate in strategic brainstorming sessions and annual strategic planning
Assist the business owner as needed with the following tasks
Create proposals for projects within assigned accounts
Partner with finance team and project managers in budget development

Partner successfully with Project Management Team to execute projects from the initiating and planning phases through the closing phase (cont.)
Monitor the overall project scope from a client and account perspective and communicate scope changes when necessary
Provide final approval on all deliverables to ensure strategic objectives are met
Develop and communicate status reports with management and the client, monitor project and team results against client expectations
Monitor and manage project-related risks and issues in partnership with the project manager; resolve and escalate risks and issues to the client when needed

We are seeking a technically strong Global Partner System Specialist to design, implement, and optimize partner-facing systems and operational processes. This role sits within the Global Partner Program and Strategy team and operates at the intersection of business and technology, bringing deep expertise in PRM management and CRM architecture and development. The primary focus is on PRM platforms, Salesforce, system integrations (including learning management and badging platforms), and partner data architecture supporting the global partner ecosystem.
You will administer and maintain partner systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
