Your Role

• Observe each child closely to understand and support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development

• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families

Role Overview

Make your mark on Orthodox and observant Jewish students at the University of Illinois by join Illini Hillel's staff as the Orthodox Campus Rabbi!

The Orthodox Rabbi serves as a leader of Orthodox life at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). You will be a community builder, teacher and Halachic authority for Orthodox and observant Jewish students and community members in Champaign-Urbana. You will providing high-level Torah education and Rabbinic leadership for students from Orthodox backgrounds, while simultaneously offering an accessible, warm entry point for any observant or Jewishly-curious students at UIUC. As an integral member of the Illini Hillel team, you will ensure that the infrastructure of Orthodox life—including our Kosher dining, daily prayer services, the Eruv, and the Mikvah – is maintained and utilized to enhance the student experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build substantial relationships with at least 120 undergraduate and graduate students (both Orthodox and non-Orthodox) through Rabbinical care, chevruta learning, teaching, and mentorship.
• Recruit for trips and Shabbatons available to Orthodox and non-Orthodox students.
• Lead and promote daily and weekend prayer services at Hillel for the Orthodox minyan.
• Lead and facilitate Jewish holiday services including but limited to the High Holidays, Purim, Passover, Shavuot, and Tisha B’av. Host and facilitate holiday meals at the Hillel building, JET house (Jewish Education Team), or at a home location.
• Proactively reach out to incoming freshmen and transfer students from Orthodox communities and youth movements (NCSY, Bnei Akiva, etc.) to recruit and integrate them into the Illini Hillel community.

On a day to day basis you will

• Serve as the cRc representative for Hillel’s Kosher kitchens, train students to be Mashgichim for Hillel’s kitchens and other Kosher opportunities in town.
• Provide sophisticated, high-level learning opportunities tailored specifically for graduates of Orthodox day schools and those returning from a gap year in Israel, ensuring their religious growth continues during their university years.
• Serve as the on-campus authority for Halachic questions, ranging from daily ritual practice to complex modern dilemmas faced by college students.
• Host students for Shabbat and Holiday meals in a warm, welcoming home environment.
• Offer pastoral counseling and religious guidance to students navigating the intersection of secular campus life and Orthodox commitment.
• Monitor, maintain and communicate the status of the Champaign-Urbana Eruv, with help from students and community members, facilitate an annual visit from Rabbi Jachter from the OU to inspect the Eruv.
• Be involved with the Champaign Urbana Mikvah Association in a leadership role whether as a board member, or part of the Rabbinical team of the Mikvah.
• Empower students to take leadership roles in Jewish life on campus including internships and board positions at Hillel and beyond.
• Work with staff on Shabbat dinners, holidays, and other large programs.
• Participate as a full member of The Hillels of Illinois Staff in local, regional and national Hillel programs and programs of the Jewish Federation as may be appropriate.

What You’ve Accomplished

• A rabbinical ordination (smicha) from an orthodox institution
• Proven ability to connect with Gen-Z students and understand the unique pressures of a high-achieving academic environment like UIUC
• 1-2 years of post-college experience preferred

Looking for a flexible role working with children in a meaningful, supportive environment?

We’re always excited to welcome warm, dependable substitute guides to support our mixed-age Montessori classrooms when our full-time teachers are out. No formal Montessori training is required, we’ll provide training as part of your orientation and onboarding.

About the Role

This is an on-call, as-needed position, ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours while making a positive impact on young children.

As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll support multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6, helping maintain a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Many of our substitute teachers go on to become full-time Assistant Teachers, making this a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori.

What You’ll Do

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency

How you make an impact: 

• Provide outstanding customer service to all of our patients
• Work as a team to complete a three dimensional, 360° image for each baby using Digital Surface Imaging (DSi®) 
• Point person to calibrate, operate and ensure optimal performance of imaging equipment (DSi® system)
• Schedule new patient and follow-up appointments into Intergy (Practice Management Software)
• Obtain, enter and process patient information in Intergy
• Medical office duties to include answering phones, clean patient rooms and room patients

We are seeking a Teacher’s Assistant to join our growing team! This role will be a blend of direct patient interaction and general administration work. If you are passionate about providing patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team.

Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings

This is a full time position throughout the school year with summers off.  

What You'll Do:

• Provide daily supervision and support for the learning environment across U18 programs
• Implement classroom behavior management strategies for patients as needed
• Set up and facilitate rooms for supervised study, ensuring room is equipped with appropriate supplies
• Distribute printed work sent by email or printed from online resources.
• Scan and e-mail completed work back to school contacts
• Manage, proctor and support the administration of assessments for each patient, including noting special instructions/testing accommodations
• Set up computers/tablets for patients and support patients to connect to Compass Guest Wifi, in addition to securing all Compass technology when not in use
• Monitor patient technology use to ensure patients are following technology guidelines
• Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members
• Check and respond to daily emails, voicemails and Teams messages
• Ensure safe patient transitions from room to room
• Communicate patient requests with doctors/nurses/therapists/teachers, as needed
• Support with walking patients to/from lobby when they arrive and need to leave, as needed.
• Administrative tasks such as data entry, attendance, and general paperwork
• Maintain patient privacy at all times
• Supervise patient lunch period, as needed
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Who You Are:

• Experience working with children and adolescent

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Amazon DSP expert to support the launch and management of our first wave of Amazon DSP clients. You will serve as the execution lead during our Alpha phase, working directly with our Smart Services team to ensure flawless campaign delivery while helping us build the internal processes and documentation needed to scale.

This is a client-facing, highly collaborative role where you'll be both a doer and a teacher.

What You'll Do:

• Own campaign execution across PG (Programmatic Guaranteed) and auction/performance campaigns: including setup, QA, pacing, troubleshooting, and optimization

• Act as the client facing DSP lead for early implementations, supporting communications and strategic guidance on campaign performance

• Build the playbook: develop SOPs, setup checklists, safety controls, workflow documentation, and reporting templates for repeatable use by the internal team

• Train Smart Services through live work and structured knowledge transfer sessions

• Quantify lift: track and document time/effort across campaign types to help establish benchmark models distinguishing PG vs. auction/performance support needs

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on Amazon DSP experience, with demonstrated expertise in both CTV/Programmatic Guaranteed and auction/performance buying

• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot live campaigns with high spend accountability

• Strong client communication skills and comfortable presenting and advising directly with brand partners

• Experience building SOPs or training teams is a strong plus

• Ability to start immediately and operate with minimal ramp time
