Compass Health Center has a Child & Adolescent Family Therapist opening focused in our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in our Oak Brook office. We are looking for clinicians trained in delivering evidence-based family therapy in the PHP/IOP levels of care. • Facilitating family sessions to a caseload of assigned child/adolescent patients and their loved ones 
• Providing guidance and support to patients and family members to help promote goals and encourage patients progress through the program.

Our Family Therapists play a key role in our multi-disciplinary teams and work to ensure synergy across treatment. As a Family Therapist, you’ll conduct family sessions with patients and their loved ones that will aim at providing support, offering education, and promoting collaboration. We are seeking a Teacher’s Assistant to join our growing team! This role will be a blend of direct patient interaction and general administration work. If you are passionate about providing patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team.

Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings

This is a full time position throughout the school year with summers off.  

What You'll Do:

• Provide daily supervision and support for the learning environment across U18 programs
• Implement classroom behavior management strategies for patients as needed
• Set up and facilitate rooms for supervised study, ensuring room is equipped with appropriate supplies
• Distribute printed work sent by email or printed from online resources.
• Scan and e-mail completed work back to school contacts
• Manage, proctor and support the administration of assessments for each patient, including noting special instructions/testing accommodations
• Set up computers/tablets for patients and support patients to connect to Compass Guest Wifi, in addition to securing all Compass technology when not in use
• Monitor patient technology use to ensure patients are following technology guidelines
• Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members

As a Primary Therapist, you’ll work thoughtfully with our patients to develop and implement their individualized treatment plans. This role will consist of conducting individual therapy meetings, collaborating with patients’ outpatient teams, and leading patients through their overall treatment program. You’ll partner closely with the entirety of our treatment teams, including Group Therapists, Family Therapists, and Prescribers to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care.

• Communicate with patients’ homeschool and attend school re-entry meetings
