• Providing guidance and support to patients and family members to help promote goals and encourage patients progress through the program.

• Providing loved ones with psychoeducation about substance use and various other Axis 1 and 2 disorder symptoms

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while working on interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. What You'll Do:

• Performing complete initial psychiatric evaluation on patient to determine diagnosis and develop plan of care including medication prescription, if indicated.
• Revising, prescribing, and implementing therapeutic regimen using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Monitoring patient progress and providing collaborative treatment and communication with the treatment team.
• Providing timely documentation of each encounter with a patient.
