Job Description

• Lead the global compliance framework and manage the full licensing lifecycle, acting as the primary liaison with international regulators.
• Establish and enhance risk-based AML/KYC policies, monitor suspicious transactions, and perform MLRO functions to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Review trading instruments and marketing materials to mitigate risks associated with copy trading, automated strategies, and misleading claims.
• Monitor for abnormal trading behaviors such as arbitrage or latency abuse in collaboration with the Risk and Trading teams.
• Develop internal SOPs, support external audits, and ensure global compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and PDPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in compliance within a trading platform, brokerage, or fintech environment.
• Strong familiarity with at least one major regulatory regime (e.g., ASIC, FCA, CySEC, MAS).
• Professional compliance certifications (such as ICA, CAMS) are highly preferred.
• Proven ability to balance regulatory adherence with business growth, possessing strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage business operations, streamlining processes for procurement, logistics, and vendor coordination to support high-performance computing activities.
• Oversee physical mining farm operations, ensuring optimal performance of compute resources (e.g., ASIC miners or large-scale servers) across global facilities.
• Interact with mining farm teams, coordinating maintenance, hardware upgrades, and energy efficiency to maximize uptime and computational output.
• Develop operational strategies to align business goals with on-chain mining objectives, enhancing scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Optimize energy consumption and negotiate with utility providers to support sustainable, large-scale computing operations.
• Ensure compliance with global regulations for crypto mining and data center operations, collaborating with legal teams on environmental and operational standards.
• Analyze operational metrics (e.g., compute performance, downtime, energy costs) to drive data-informed decisions and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of business operations, including process optimization, vendor management, and budgeting in dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of Bitcoin, PoW mining, and blockchain technology, or the ability to quickly adapt expertise in compute infrastructure to mining contexts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating with on-site technical teams and global stakeholders.
• Familiarity with global regulations for computing infrastructure, energy markets, or crypto mining compliance.
• Analytical mindset, with proficiency in leveraging operational data for performance improvements.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
