The Role:

The Mobile Device Infrastructure team is one of the most important core teams in our real device infrastructure product line. It doesn’t only maintain our real device fleet in a healthy state which is essential to our customers, but it also offers services and abstractions used by other teams to interface with the mobile devices fleet in order to elevate the customer experience with added value such as advanced insights and troubleshooting capabilities. As a Software Engineer you will:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of mobile agents, backend services, and frontend tools.
• Collaborate on the integration of mobile apps and frameworks into our core infrastructure.

• Execute technical tasks that adapt mobile device behavior for lease-based environments.

Role Summary

We are hiring Senior Engineers who combine solid software engineering fundamentals with proven proficiency in AI-assisted development. This role is designed for engineers who have actively used AI coding tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex CLI only) for at least one year and can leverage these capabilities to ship higher-quality code faster. You will be embedded in product engineering squads, leading feature development, mentoring junior engineers, and championing AI-first development practices across the team.

1  Feature Engineering & Delivery

• Write testable, modular, and well-documented code following the team's style guides and design principles.

4  Architecture & Technical Design

5  Mentoring & Team Growth

6  Cross-functional Collaboration

Required Qualifications

1  Education

This is a challenge beyond just writing another app and focusing on UX. Can you approach Android as a Linux distro, and develop both native and managed code to build bridges between OS fundamentals and the application layer? • Work directly with product and engineering leadership to design and develop elegant solutions for application observability.
• Solve leading-edge problems bridging the layers of an application, from managed to native to OS, in multiple platforms - mobile, gaming, managed languages, web and more.

Required Skills:

• Approximately 5+ years of relevant software development experience.

• A solid understanding of the crash reporting toolchain, and experience with native crash reporting tools like Crashpad and PLCrashReporter. Being comfortable with analyzing a minidump.
• Performance & footprint awareness:  Ability to design SDKs that are lightweight, efficient, and minimally intrusive to customer applications.
• Security best practices:  Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and strategies for securely handling crash and error data.
• Strong knowledge of cross-platform build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and package distribution (e.g., Gradle, CocoaPods, npm, Unity Package Manager).
