What you will do
Reporting to our Senior Manager of Finance Operations, you will step into the pivotal role of Finance Operations Process & Automation Lead. You will lead our FinOps Projects team, acting as the architect of a leaner, more automated financial operation. Your mission is to own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process, drive our AI automation strategy, and champion process quality across the business, ensuring our operations are as innovative as our products.

- Lead, manage, and mentor the FinOps Projects team, fostering their professional growth and driving project success.
- Own the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process, leading initiatives to map, redesign, and improve process quality from start to finish.
- Drive the FinOps automation roadmap, identifying opportunities and partnering with technical teams to build and implement AI-driven solutions.
- Act as the voice of operational excellence, influencing upstream commercial decisions to prevent downstream complexity and ensure scalability.
- Lead the integration of billing systems and processes from newly acquired companies, ensuring seamless absorption into Lighthouse operations.
- Develop data-driven business cases and reporting to demonstrate the impact and ROI of automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Champion and maintain high standards for process documentation, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our automated systems.

You'll be leading the FinOps Projects team, a crucial group at the intersection of finance and technology. As part of the wider Finance Operations team, we own the entire Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. Our mission is twofold: we drive major strategic projects like integrating new companies and building out our AI automation, while also ensuring the core business runs smoothly. Who you are
Essential
- Experience in Finance Operations, with deep, hands-on expertise in the full Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle.
- Proven experience in people management, with a passion for coaching, professional development, and performance management.
- A demonstrated track record of leading process optimization and automation projects from conception to successful implementation.
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements and partnering effectively with engineering or automation teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
- A strategic, root-cause thinker who solves problems upstream rather than just managing downstream symptoms.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with strong prioritization skills.
- An ambitious and proactive mindset, with a strong work ethic and a drive to deliver results in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
We welcome
- Experience in a finance transformation or consulting role, with exposure to systems like Salesforce (CPQ/Billing), NetSuite, Kolleno, or Adyen.
- A background working within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

What you will do
Reporting to our Lead Enterprise Architect, you will join us as a Senior AI Solutions Engineer. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for our internal AI transformation, building the infrastructure that turns innovative ideas into reality at scale. You will act as the connective tissue between our growing portfolio of AI capabilities and the core SaaS platforms that power our internal operations. This is a hands-on builder role where you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring our AI initiatives are architecturally sound and scalable.

- Design and build robust, scalable integrations between our AI capabilities and core SaaS platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Slack.
- Develop reusable integration patterns and architectural blueprints that empower teams to deploy AI solutions efficiently and consistently.
- Build and maintain the shared automation infrastructure that underpins AI-powered processes across the business.
- Act as the dedicated technical partner for our AI Transformation Leads, translating business needs into detailed implementation plans.
- Prototype new AI solutions to prove technical feasibility before hardening them for production environments.
- Ensure all AI integrations adhere to the highest standards of data privacy and security, in line with GDPR and SOC 2 requirements.

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning.
Over 50 million people use Speechify’s text-to-speech products to turn whatever they’re reading – PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, websites – into audio, so they can read faster, read more, and remember more. Speechify’s text-to-speech reading products include its iOS app, Android App, Mac App, Chrome Extension, and Web App. Google recently named Speechify the Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple named Speechify its 2025 Design Award winner for Inclusivity.
Today, nearly 200 people around the globe work on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting – Speechify has no office. These include frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and others from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, leading PhD programs like Stanford, high growth startups like Stripe, Vercel, Bolt, and many founders of their own companies
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or related UI frameworks), C#, XAML, and — when needed — C++.
- Define and enforce best-practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase: code architecture, performance, memory usage, responsive UI, cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+), and maintainability.
- Drive accessibility efforts: integrate and validate support for accessibility APIs (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or other relevant Windows accessibility frameworks), ensure UI controls, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and usability for users with disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and other stakeholders to shape feature planning, UI/UX architecture, and long-term roadmap for the Windows platform.
- Take ownership of full lifecycle of features: conception → design → implementation → testing → release → maintenance. Ensure quality, reliability, and consistency across releases.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, or compatibility problems — and propose robust architectural or design solutions.
Required:
- 3+ in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar), C#, XAML — and ideally additional experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).
- Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed code (.NET) and native code.
- Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or similar), and a dedication to building accessible and inclusive software.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading or asynchronous programming (where relevant).
- Experience leading technical design, mentoring other engineers, conducting code reviews, and making architecture-level decisions.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate tradeoffs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive consensus.
- A user-centric mindset: focus on building polished, intuitive, and accessible experiences for end users.
Preferred / Bonus:
- Experience with writing automated tests for UI — unit tests, integration tests, UI automation tests; familiarity with relevant testing frameworks.
- Experience with performance optimization for desktop apps (memory usage, startup time, rendering performance, high-DPI support, responsiveness under load).
- Experience with localization/globalization, right-to-left UI support, internationalization, accessibility for multiple regions.
- Familiarity with telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, logging, and error monitoring in desktop applications.
- Previous experience in shaping CI/CD workflows, release pipelines, and deployment strategies for desktop applications.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of feature areas or modules and drive them long-term, including maintenance, refactoring, and technical debt management.
