Anduril’s Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) is a division with two missions: 1) build highly capable autonomous drones, and 2) build solid rocket motors at scale. We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high-volume production methods—delivering safe, reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires software engineers & hardware engineers, who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio—from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a senior finance professional to lead the Tactical Reconnaissance and Strike (TRS) finance team. This role will provide leadership and management of division and business line finance teams as TRS continues to rapidly scale. This person will oversee financial planning and analysis, program finance, strategic finance and pricing and is expected to recommend and execute on new strategies that drive both top- and bottom-line impact.

The TRS finance and business teams will rely on this leader to develop, grow, and sustain strong collaborate relationships with internal and external Anduril stakeholders. In practice, the Head of Finance will support TRS’s rapid growth and make important decisions that drive the long-term success of our business. You will communicate your findings to senior leadership and partner with others to operationalize the hypotheses and takeaways. This role requires a strong interest in solving puzzles with an ability to recognize patterns and collaborate via cross-functional partnerships drive decision-making. You will be tasked with identifying business opportunities, formulating hypotheses, and conducting in-depth analyses which illuminate opportunities to drive success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Daily partnership with Senior Leaders within TRS to bring first class financial expertise and fractional CFO level support to the business.
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of division, business line, product and program level financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with forecasts, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
• Work with senior TRS and corporate finance leaders to identify and implement ways to improve business performance and finance systems, tools and processes.
• Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management.
• Get deep in the operations and support the team in creating bottoms-up, data-driven models to understand segmentation, pricing optimization, scenarios, and financial returns of our products and investments.
• Manage and scale a dedicated finance team in line with the needs of the business by developing and hiring best-in-class talent and implementing best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible finance organization.
• Own performance dashboards, alerting, and investigation into KPI health. Assess the impact of financial decisions on KPIs while developing strategies which drive demonstrable impact against these metrics.
• Develop deep relationships with our customers (both internal and external) and oversee customer program reporting, monthly invoicing, and monthly financial status reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• 10-15 years of finance experience working for Big Tech, Defense, Large Manufacturing, or Government contracting, with 3-5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling and data analysis tools, and experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (i.e. Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Foundry).
• Demonstrated track record of owning problems end-to-end in a finance function.

Position Overview

Shift4’s VP, Marketplace & Value-Added Services will lead the strategy, development, and monetization of our partner ecosystem and adjacent product expansions across the global POS platform.

This role owns two critical growth vectors:

• Marketplace: A scalable ecosystem of third-party integrations across the restaurant operator stack (online ordering, inventory, labor, payroll, kitchen operations, loyalty, etc.)
• Value-Added Services (VAS): Strategic product extensions (e.g., capital/loans, payroll, invoicing) delivered through deep partnerships and company-led go-to-market motions

The VP will be responsible for defining the partner strategy, driving integration execution, establishing commercial frameworks, and delivering revenue outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Partnerships, Development, Finance, and Go-To-Market.

Reporting to the Head of Global POS, this is a highly strategic, high-visibility role with frequent interaction with the CPO, CFO, and CEO. The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership, partnership acumen, and commercial ownership with the ability to scale complex ecosystems.

Responsibilities

Marketplace Strategy & Ecosystem Development

• Define and execute the vision for Shift4’s Marketplace ecosystem across global POS.
• Identify priority partner categories and build a structured integration roadmap aligned to merchant needs.
• Establish a scalable Marketplace model, including:
• Partner onboarding frameworks
• Integration standards and certification processes
• Marketplace governance and lifecycle management
• Drive expansion of Marketplace coverage across key verticals and geographies.
• Ensure Marketplace capabilities enhance merchant value proposition and platform stickiness.

Partner Relationships & Commercial Agreements

• Own executive-level relationships with key Marketplace and VAS partners.
• Negotiate and structure commercial agreements, including:
• Revenue share models
• Pricing structures
• Exclusivity and strategic alignment terms
• Build a tiered partner strategy (strategic vs. long-tail partners).
• Ensure partner incentives are aligned with Shift4’s product and revenue objectives.

Integration Delivery & Platform Enablement

• Oversee end-to-end integration delivery across Marketplace and VAS partners.
• Partner with Development team to:
• Define integration standards and APIs
• Improve speed and predictability of partner integrations

Value-Added Services (VAS) Product Expansion

• Define and execute the strategy for VAS offerings that extend Shift4’s core platform.
• Identify high-impact opportunities (e.g., capital, payroll, invoicing) that drive incremental merchant value and revenue.

• Product design in collaboration with Product & Development
• Go-to-market strategy in coordination with Commercial, Operations and  Marketing

Monetization & Revenue Ownership

• Own revenue performance across Marketplace and VAS.
• Define and manage monetization models, including:
• Transaction-based revenue
• Subscription or SaaS pricing
• Revenue share and referral models
• Establish quarterly revenue targets and drive execution to achieve them.
• Partner with Finance to track performance, forecast revenue, and optimize ROI.
• Continuously identify opportunities to increase attach rates and revenue per merchant.

Operational Excellence & Support Model

• Define scalable operational processes for partner onboarding, support, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure clear support ownership between Shift4 and partners.
• Improve integration quality and reduce support burden through:
• Standardization
• Documentation
• Partner enablement
• Establish KPIs for ecosystem performance (integration success rate, partner SLAs, merchant adoption).

Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment

• Partner closely with:
• Product leadership to align Marketplace and VAS with product roadmap
• Development to ensure platform readiness and delivery execution
• Commercial & GTM teams to drive adoption and revenue
• Finance to ensure commercial alignment and performance tracking
• Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on ecosystem strategy and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management, partnerships, or platform ecosystems, with leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience building and scaling partner ecosystems or marketplaces.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning revenue targets and monetization strategies.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex partner agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Development, and Go-To-Market teams.
• Strong understanding of API-driven platforms, integrations, and partner enablement models.
• Experience in fintech, payments, POS, or adjacent industries is highly preferred.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in global organizations with multi-region considerations.
