The Team:
The Accounts & Identity team builds highly scalable java based services that safely connects PlayStation users with the social and entertainment experiences they love. What you'll be doing:
As part of our team, you'll develop distributed services, collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and operations team members to build highly robust solutions. Role responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Provide solutions that are simple, maintainable, well abstracted, and with accurate test coverage
- Perform in-depth requirement analysis and design/code reviews with peers
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise
- Problem solve and triage issues including addressing operational incidents
What we're looking for:
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years of strong hands-on Java (ideally Reactive Java Programming) development experience for backend web services using Spring boot framework
- Experience developing services built for deployment into AWS EC2 or EKS using Docker
- Experience developing applications on Unix/Linux platforms
- Experience with servlet containers (e.g., Tomcat), JAXRS, Spring, and related technologies.
- Experience developing REST based web services also utilizing JSON and XML.
- Experience with GraphQL including the Apollo Client and GraphQL-compliant server stacks.
- Familiarity with data storage technologies such as Oracle, DynamoDB, and Cassandra
- Experience with agile development methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Experience with tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Jenkins, JIRA, Git etc.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Works well with others at all levels, and is effective at working with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams.

We’re seeking curious minds like yours to collaborate with full-time engineers and cross functional teammates, learn development standard methodologies, and gain practical software engineering experience.
Software engineering interns are fully integrated into software engineering teams across our Product and Technology organization. Interns spend their summer pushing production-level code to make lasting contributions across MongoDB’s products and services for our internal teams, external customers, and developer end users.
What we are looking for in you (qualifications)
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a foundation in computer science theory, with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Fluent in any one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go, C++, Javascript, Node.js - or a comparable object-oriented programming language.
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Summer 2027, Fall 2027, or Spring 2028.

Role overview
The International team is seeking a talented and driven Principal Software Development Engineer to join CarGurus' new Dublin office and lead exciting product initiatives for our Canadian and UK markets and play a key role in establishing the office’s culture. What you'll bring
- 8+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer, including 3+ years serving as a technical lead or principal engineer.
- Deep full-stack expertise working with Java and TypeScript (or similar languages) and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and React.
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, scaling, testing, and evolving distributed systems using service-oriented architecture in 24/7 production environments.
- 2+ years of experience using cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Terraform or similar cloud services.
- Hands-on experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, applying the right data models to diverse needs.
- Experience in operating and troubleshooting production systems.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a demonstrated talent for translating technical concepts for both engineering and business audiences.
- Consistent record of being self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in driving projects and business goals.
- An aptitude for leveraging AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar to enhance software development and operational efficiency. Additional hands-on experience with LLMs is a huge plus.

The Comms Capture team is responsible for Gong's core data – the data pipeline that ingests and capture customer’s interactions from external communication systems (emails, calendars, phone/web conferencing calls, texts). These pipelines are online, are used by all of the company's customers, and forms the basis for a wide range of Gong's products.
NOTE: This position is a hybrid-based role (Dublin office 3 days a week and remote 2 days)
- Dive into core, complex, large-scale backend systems.
- Understand how to implement new features, enhance existing capabilities, and resolve issues within a live, massive system without negatively impacting customers.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies.
- Develop and maintain integration infrastructure, enabling third-party applications to seamlessly connect with Gong and extend its functionality.
- Build generic, modular API interfaces that support a wide range of future use cases, ensuring flexibility and reusability.
- Enhance system security, ensuring that Gong’s external-facing capabilities are both powerful and secure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, GTM, and other R&D groups) and external partners to develop solutions that align with business and customer needs.
- Take full ownership of features from design to production, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Contribute to the strategic vision for Gong’s integration ecosystem, thinking beyond short-term tactical solutions.
You should apply if you have...
- 5 + years of backend software development experience, with a strong foundation in Java and modern cloud-based architectures.
- Experience in both application and infrastructure development, with a deep understanding of scalable SaaS solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring, etc.) and designing robust, maintainable APIs.
- Experience developing durable systems and using relevant technologies and techniques (kafka, SQS, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and building scalable microservices architectures.
- A solid understanding of secure API design and best practices for external integrations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills- you'll work closely with partners, product teams, and developers across multiple organizations.
- Ability to take ownership and drive projects forward independently.
