What You’ll Do:
- Act as a technical advisor to 3 primary enterprise accounts, ensuring successful product adoption and effective usage of the Datadog platform.
- Lead enablement and adoption sessions across core product areas tailored to your customer’s architecture and business needs.
- Analyze customers’ IT Operations environments and workflows to recommend configuration, product usage, and performance improvements.
- Deliver technical business reviews, health checks, and account maturity assessments, contributing to customer QBRs with impactful recommendations.
- Escalate product issues appropriately and advocate for your customers’ needs with Datadog’s Product and Engineering teams.
- Create executive-level summaries and insights that tie platform usage to business outcomes.
- Participate in internal TAM strategy sessions and contribute to team learning through feature presentations, case studies, or best-practice sharing
Who You Are:
- You have 2+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (TAM, Solutions Architect, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or similar) within the cloud or observability space.
- You’re confident with at least two public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and have hands-on experience with infrastructure or application monitoring.
- You’re familiar with scripting or automation tools (e.g. Python, Bash, Terraform, Chef/Puppet).
- You have working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).
- You excel at communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and can adapt your style for individual contributors or exec audiences.
- You’re able to work with minimal guidance on customer enablement, issue triage, and product adoption strategies.
- You are comfortable traveling up to 25–30% of the time as needed (via auto, air, or train).
- Previous experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools is a strong plus

The Partner Solution Architect (PSA) is a Datadog expert who will work closely with Datadog’s Director of Partner Solutions Architects, and is aligned to our Channels & Alliances business segment. The PSA is responsible for supporting a variety of technical initiatives and activities for our partners (for example: cloud migration, application modernization, DevOps transformation). About the Team:
STR’s Analytics and Command & Control (AC2) Division focuses on developing actionable, advanced technology solutions to provide asymmetric advantages within the information domain.
The Mission Applications (MA) Group within the AC2 Division specializes in ensuring the technology that STR creates produces outsized mission impact. Staff within the MA group have a deep understanding of missions and technology needs for national security with skills targeting transition of technology to operational use, including product management, UX Product implementation, software integration & mission engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, and program management. MA staff combine with other science and engineering staff from the various STR research and development groups to form dedicated product teams focused on accelerating the operational transition of cutting-edge software technologies.
The Role:
A Test Lead coordinates all efforts associated with test, to include test-driven development and implementing automation for various elements of system test. This approach places a strong emphasis on all aspects of test (unit, integration, and system-level) to ensure STR is fulfilling the end-user's operational needs, thus enabling the success of the overall mission. Ensuring all facets of system test are accounted for in the end-to-end software development and deployment can significantly improve the impact of STR software.
We are seeking experienced candidates – preferably, established technical leads with experience as a test lead on a software development program and skill interfacing with teams of developers.
What you will do:
- Lead the development team in designing and implementing integration tests for innovative software services in an agile DevSecOps environment
- Collaborate with program leadership to prioritize test planning and execution activities
- Ongoing work includes developing and maintaining automated system and regression tests and working with program management/staff to identify key system-level test cases
- Hands-on experience with ability to quickly grasp overall system architecture picture is essential
Who You Are:
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, for which U.S citizenship is needed by the U.S government

As a Senior Database Reliability Engineer at Checkr, you will be primarily responsible for managing cloud database and data storage infrastructure, backup policies and processes, data lifecycle management, and performance tuning and troubleshooting across a breadth of database platforms. Beyond this, you will help our software teams maximize their understanding and efficient use of our database systems.
What a typical week may look like at Checkr:
- Design and recommend database architectures that address resiliency, durability, and high availability concerns
- Provision and administer database and database-adjacent cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code
- Maintain and troubleshoot database systems in production, staging, and sandbox environments
- Optimize database performance at the query, schema, and instance levels
- Embrace and extend BCDR and data protection practices across availability zones, accounts, and providers
- Work closely with the Infrastructure team to align on infrastructure best practices
- Implement security best practices for data stores
- Automate common database tasks to reduce manual toil
- Work closely with the SRE team and improve observability (alerting, metrics, monitoring) of the database schema and infrastructure
- Take part in incident response, diagnosis, and follow-up on system outages or alerts across Checkr’s customer-serving infrastructure
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience working with relational database concepts, storage systems, and architectures
- Advanced level of experience with Postgres, MySQL, SQL, and MongoDB database administration and replication topologies at scale
- Experience working with AWS cloud databases such as RDS, Aurora, ElasticCache, MongoDB Atlas, and AWS S3
- Solid people skills and ability to guide software engineers through database best practices with regard to security, schema design, and migrations at scale

Platform Engineer, Windows Infrastructure
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid), San Antonio, TX (Hybrid), Brooklyn, NY or Remote (US Based)
About the Role:
As a Platform Engineer, Windows Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the Windows-based infrastructure that underpins Simplesense’s operational platform helping to secure critical infrastructure. You will support the implementation, automation, and ongoing improvement of Windows domain infrastructure and partner closely with the Platform, Security, and Operations teams to ensure our systems remain resilient, secure, and mission-ready.
Work Model: We prioritize candidates in the Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX, and Brooklyn, NY area, but are open to remote talent.
- Locals: 2 days/week onsite.
- Remote: Quarterly travel for team meetings.
What Success Looks Like:
- 30 Days: Onboard into the platform environment, gain familiarity with Windows infrastructure, IaC workflows, and internal tools.
- 60 Days: Develop and deploy Windows automation scripts and infrastructure updates and begin contributing to tasks following the development workflow.
- 90 Days: Take ownership of small- to medium-sized infrastructure tasks, contribute to system reliability and automation efforts, and collaborate cross-functionally to support operations and platform enhancements.
What You’ll Do
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions:
Deploy features, fixes, and updates to Windows infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. - Automate Windows environments and processes:
Develop, test, and maintain automations for system configuration, deployments, and operational workflows, including CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate across teams to improve systems:
Partner with Platform, Security, and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate new assets, and continuously improve system performance and resilience. - Contribute to technical delivery and growth:
Actively participate in code reviews, follow engineering best practices, and contribute to solving technical challenges while continuing to build your skillset.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience using software development and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to manage Windows infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with self-hosted Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and system performance tuning
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation (modules, system configuration, networking, services)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and infrastructure deployment workflows
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including analyzing Windows Event Logs and system metrics
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Systems Manager)
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of secure system configuration, automation best practices, and infrastructure reliability in mission-critical or regulated environments.
- Travel: Quarterly travel required for team planning and collaboration.
Clearance & Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a DoD NIPR network account and Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a Secret Clearance
- Security relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cloud+) or willingness to obtain
Preferred Qualifications:
- Based in Denver, CO, San Antonio, TX, or Brooklyn, NY
- Experience working within DoD, Air Force, or Federal contractor environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $115k-$145k per year. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and location. We review ranges regularly to ensure market competitiveness.
