The role
We’re looking for a Senior HPC Cluster Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our cutting-edge hyperscaler platform. The GPU & InfiniBand team is responsible for enhancing and optimizing the core components of our Cloud platform, with a specific focus on GPU computing, InfiniBand networks, and the KVM/QEMU stack. You’ll work closely with hardware virtualization and device emulation technologies, ensuring high performance and security in multi-GPU, HPC environments. The role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and improving infrastructure to support new hardware, fine-tuning system performance, and automating fault detection and resolution in a complex system.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Tuning the performance of GPU clusters and InfiniBand networks to ensure optimal operation in HPC and GPU-based environments.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting the root cause of issues related to GPUs and InfiniBand networks, and proposing corrective actions.
- Integrating new hardware into the existing infrastructure, including support for new GPU hardware through software stacks like Kubernetes, QEMU, and KVM.
- Enhancing automation systems for proactive monitoring, detecting, and resolving issues in GPU and InfiniBand environments.
- Configuring and managing GPU devices and InfiniBand fabrics, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
We expect you to have:
- 5+ years of professional experience in system-level software development (focused on performance optimization, low-level programming).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems (administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning).
- In-depth understanding of server architecture, including PCIe devices, NICs, Linux OS/Kernel, and high-performance computing (HPC) systems.
- Strong proficiency in one or more performance-oriented programming languages (C/C++, Go, Python).
It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with GPU end-to-end testing in a cluster environment using InfiniBand networking.
- Proven track record of analyzing and optimizing the performance of HPC workloads (e.g., simulations, data analysis, AI/ML workloads).
- Familiarity with RDMA, RoCE, and InfiniBand protocols for high-performance communication.
- Background in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and experience with HPC cluster networking.
- Understanding of QEMU/KVM virtualization and managing virtualized environments.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, and their integration with HPC systems.
- Familiarity with collective communication libraries like MPI and NCCL for distributed computing.

Bloomreach is seeking a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own the design and implementation of cutting-edge AI and GenAI driven algorithmic components for contextual personalization, predictions and behavioral insights that are used to personalize digital experiences for our customers. We are currently allowing flexibility for our employees to work from anywhere for the respective region (Central & Eastern Europe) or we are happy to meet you in our offices in Bratislava (Slovakia) or Brno, Prague (Czechia) on a full-time basis. The salary starts at €4,800 gross per month, along with restricted stock units and other benefits.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance ML/AI models which Predictions, Contextual Personalization and our new agentic workflows
- Process historical data, product catalog and user behaviours to extract hidden relations and features.
- Conduct research to explore ongoing cutting-edge ML techniques and conduct a quick POC.
- Work closely with ML Engineers to integrate and scale ML components to a production-level that can handle terabytes of data.
- Continuously learn and stay up to date with the current state-of-the-art techniques by reading research papers and attending AI/ML conferences.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a strong mathematical foundation and excellent programming skills (primarily Python)
- At least 3 years of experience building ML-driven fast and scalable ML/analytical algorithms in a corporate/startup environment.
- Strong awareness and understanding of recent trends in Generative AI and LLMs. Experience in working with GenAI stack will be treated as strong credentials.
- Strong understanding of various machine learning and natural language processing technologies, such as classification, information retrieval, clustering, knowledge graph, semi-supervised learning and ranking.
- Excellent exploratory data analysis skills with the ability to slice and dice data at scale using SQL in BigQuery.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to learn and adapt to newer ML technologies.
- Exposure to deep learning stack (PyTorch/Keras/TensorFlow) and techniques (Representation/Transfer Learning, RNN/LSTM, Transformers).
- Experience working with Big Data in a cloud based production environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in written form.

Joining Collibra’s Artificial Intelligence team
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer who will design and deliver Artificial Intelligence solutions that improve our customers' experience and enable informed, data-driven decision making. We seek someone excited about working with cutting-edge technologies to build pragmatic, performant AI solutions. You'll collaborate with a team of outstanding builders around the world, characterized by a love for innovative technology, a desire to solve problems, and a continuous pursuit of building simple, elegant products that delight customers and simplify all levels of data engagement. You will work primarily with Data Scientists, other AI Engineers, and Machine Learning Operations Engineers, as well as teams across Collibra.
This is a hybrid role based in our Prague office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.
AI Engineers at Collibra are responsible for
- Monitoring of the larger AI/ML landscape, including emerging techniques and current state-of-the-art approaches
- Transforming prototypes into pragmatic, production-ready solutions which solve impactful business problems
- Creating, operationalizing, and supporting AI/ML models and visualizations to power actionable value and insights
- Evaluating algorithmic results for quality, adaptability, and efficiency
- Contributing to evolving our platforms for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities in support of Collibra’s data products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers on AI best practices
You have
- 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade AI/ML projects related to business functions, incorporating advanced techniques (e.g., LLM-based applications, RAG systems, NLP, neural networks, recommendation engines)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, query authoring as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (e.g., time series, graph, vector)
- Built and deployed production code in Python with associated AI modules (LangChain, LangGraph, Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow, etc.)
- Experience with model evaluation, testing frameworks, and validation methodologies
- You must have work authorization to work in Prague, Czech Republic
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required

- Within your sixth month, you will operationalize AI products into production environments and contribute to our AI roadmap
