Overview

The responsibilities of our Platform team include building and maintaining all backend services, including, but not limited to, payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.

This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

Our interview process involves several technical interviews and we aim to complete them within 1 week. 

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Proven experience in backend development: TS/Node (required)
• Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Efficiency in ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

What your day-to-day will look like

• Monitor and manage the internet link, ensuring stable and continuous connectivity;
• Support the internal network, focusing on the configuration and maintenance of access points (APs);
• Manage IT assets, controlling inventory and the equipment lifecycle;
• Provide support for on-site corporate events, ensuring the required infrastructure is in place;
• Deliver priority support to company executives (VIP);
• Perform the onboarding process for new employees, configuring devices via Autopilot for Windows and Mac (iOS);
• Ensure proper and secure formatting of IT devices;
• Apply ITIL framework principles to ensure quality and efficiency in support processes;
• Use the ServiceNow platform for configuration, implementations, catalog creation, and API integrations;
• Collaborate with different organizational levels, maintaining clear and objective communication;
• Act proactively, focusing on service excellence and meeting the agreed SLAs for IT support and demands;
• Provide support for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), configuring identity synchronization, user and group management, conditional access policies, and multifactor authentication (MFA), as well as applying security configurations to protect the cloud infrastructure;
• Support the administration of Google Workspace, including account creation and maintenance, permission control, application of security policies, and user support for tools such as Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Meet.

What you need to shine in this role

• Proven experience in technology infrastructure and support;
• Knowledge of networks, firewalls, and information security;
• Ability to manage devices via Windows and Mac Autopilot;
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework and its best practices;
• Experience with the ServiceNow platform (configuration, implementation, and integration);
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to support all levels of the company, with a focus on VIP support;
• Proactivity and commitment to excellence in service delivery;
• Intermediate English.

Bonus points if you have

• Development and automation skills;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune (Configuration and Compliance Policies);
• Previous experience administering Apple MDM tools (Jamf);
• Knowledge of Networking and Security (Zero Trust) for hybrid environments;

What your day-to-day will look like

• Responsible for designing the system architecture to train, retrain, develop, monitor, and serve machine learning models;
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure for machine learning pipelines and APIs;
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment, updating, and continuous monitoring of machine learning models;

• Strong Python skills with experience writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code;

In the IT Ops team, we take care of the infrastructure that keeps EBANX running every day. We ensure that employees have the best experience with devices, networks, and systems, providing fast, secure, and efficient support so nothing gets in the way.

Your day-to-day impact:

• Strengthen the security of our AWS and GCP environments by building, improving, and monitoring cloud security controls;

• Lead and support security investigations, collaborating with multiple teams to prevent incidents and drive long-term improvements;

• Develop automations and tools (Python, IaC, Kubernetes integrations) that reduce manual work and increase security coverage;

• Contribute to PCI-DSS, ISO-27001, ISO-27701 and ISO-27718 compliance efforts by ensuring controls are implemented and continuously improved;

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, supporting scalable and reliable services;

• Partner with Engineering, Cloud Platform, FinOps, and GRC teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and influence architecture decisions;

• Help elevate EBANX’s cloud security posture through documentation, best practices, and continuous learning;

Must-haves to shine in this role:

• Solid experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure), preferably in security-focused roles;

• Hands-on skills with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation;

• Ability to automate tasks and build tools using Python or other scripting languages;

• Understanding of security frameworks and standards like PCI-DSS or ISO-27001;

• Experience participating in or leading security incident investigations;

• Familiarity with Linux administration and Kubernetes concepts;

• Strong ownership, curiosity, and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams;

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, learning, and delivering secure solutions at scale;

Bonus points if you have:

• Cloud security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent;
