About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an SEC Reporting Vice President to join the Corporate Finance team. This role will involve accounting and financial reporting responsibilities, such as financial statement preparation and review for compliance with relevant accounting standards, SOX internal control program operations, accounting policy research and preparation, and complex transaction accounting. This individual will be on the Corporate Reporting team within the Corporate Finance department and report to the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and notes in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Review US GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists to ensure financial statements are complete, accurate, and in line with accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain financial reporting schedules and review consolidations and eliminations.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits with a big four audit firm.
• Complete and update documentation (flowcharts and risk controls matrices) for key SOX processes.
• Oversee firm-wide internal controls program inclusive of responsibility for ensuring employee compliance with performance of SOX controls and reviewing supporting controls documentation.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with controls program utilizing FloQast software.
• Provide periodic reports and present the current status of SOX controls program and operations to Senior Management (CAO and CFO).
• Prepare and maintain appropriate accounting policies for the firm, inclusive of complex transactions (including acquisitions), recurring, necessary corporate policies and other transactions requiring detailed analysis and interpretation of ASC guidance.
• Ensure compliance with policies at all times, maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
• Research and advise on new accounting guidance issuances.
• Liaise with auditors and consultants to determine appropriate guidance to apply and proper accounting treatment.
• Write technical memorandums to document guidance applied, facts and circumstances of transactions, and conclusion on appropriate accounting.
• Review and approve journal entries within accounting software to ensure transactions are reflected appropriately in the books and records.
• Evaluate related tax impact to associated transactions and liaising with tax experts.
• Perform financial due diligence of acquisition targets.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of corporate accounting or audit experience within the financial services industry
• Degree in Accounting is required
• CPA license is required
• Detailed understanding and experience with GAAP and SEC financial reporting
• Experience with SOX controls is required (performing or managing a SOX controls program or auditing controls)
• Experience with consolidation of financial statements is required
• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Power Point
• Familiar and competence in utilizing AI tools to drive meaningful results (CoPilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
• Able to manage large sets of data and implement checks and balances
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed oriented with big picture capability

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Strategic Finance professional to join the Corporate Finance team. This role will involve large scale responsibilities across financial and managerial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis of key financial and performance indicators, monthly and quarterly management reporting duties, including support during the financial close, financial modelling, and partnership with key business and department Leads to enhance decision making. This individual will report into the iCapital Solutions Business Controller, Senior Vice President.

Responsibilities

• Support the budgeting and forecasting of the company’s key financial performance indicators, with emphasis on revenue, expenses, sales activity, and select GAAP and Non-GAAP metrics, liaising with FP&A team members, sales and business leads, while providing analysis of budget vs. actuals and real-time forecasting of revenue and expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s annual budget process across key financial performance indicators, with emphasis on revenue, expenses, sales-based inputs and activity, and client level detail.
• Develop key financial and performance metrics with detailed analytics for the Management Committee and business leads.
• Liaise with FP&A team members to develop business specific key performance metrics, client analytics, budgets, and forecasts.
• Identify and assess key opportunities to enhance the current reporting structure and develop new approaches to evaluate business performance.
• Partner with FP&A team members and sales to develop monthly analyses and insights into variances between budget vs. actual results.
• Perform sales analytics to support the business development and growth of the company’s iCapital Solutions department.
• Support the preparation of monthly management and quarterly board reporting packages, including consolidation of financial statements, budget vs. actual results and revised forecasts, variance analysis and compilation of the company KPI reports.
• Identify and remediate process gaps and implement effective internal controls; improve documentation of internal control processes.
• Assist in completing ad hoc projects as needed such as implementation of new software, platform reporting automation, and financial planning and analysis tools.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or accounting experience within the financial services industry and/or FP&A or strategic finance experience with a top-tier firm
• Familiar with private market investments such as private equity, hedge funds, and/or structured investments are preferred
• Experience in planning and ERP tools (i.e., WorkDay Adaptive, Tableau, Essbase, etc.) and familiar with Oracle NetSuite and/or General Ledger systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Axiom) is preferred
• Able to work with business/sales and department leads on business performance including budgeting, forecasting and advanced analytics
• Advanced degree and/or credentials desired, such as MBA, CPA, CFA
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational planning, quantitative modeling, and problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking

Summary of Job:

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) – Rare Disease is a critical commercial role responsible for expanding the diagnosed patient population and driving appropriate treatment initiation through education-driven, data-informed field engagement. This role is designed to complement existing Regional Business Manager (RBM) coverage by placing primary emphasis on new and earlier patient identification, diagnostic pathway enablement, and referral network activation.

In rare disease markets, where growth is driven by patient identification rather than market share shifts, the Regional Account Manager focuses on uncovering diagnostic gaps, enabling earlier disease recognition, and ensuring appropriate handoff of qualified patient opportunities to RBMs for treatment initiation and account execution. The RAM serves as a field integrator across the local ecosystem and works in close collaboration with Regional Business Managers and relevant cross-functional partners

Essential Functions:

Patient Identification & Diagnostic Enablement

• Identify rare disease patients through engagement with healthcare providers, including but not limited to IM/FP, General Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Physical Therapy, Pain Management, and other non-traditional specialties
• Identify and address diagnostic gaps within targeted accounts that may delay or prevent accurate diagnosis
• Map, influence, and support local diagnostic and referral pathways to reduce time from disease suspicion to confirmed diagnosis
• Support appropriate use of diagnostic tools and specialist referrals, including utilization of approved HCP identification tools
• Serve as a field integrator to help ensure potential patients are identified throughout the diagnostic journey

Territory Strategy & Data-Driven Execution

• Develop and execute a business plan focused on patient identification and diagnostic activation
• Utilize claims data, internal analytics, Power BI mapping, and other approved data sources to identify high-probability patient opportunities
• Continuously refine targeting and territory strategy based on real-world outcomes, field insights, and performance metrics
• Analyze local and regional trends to inform short- and long-term business planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Regional Business Managers and appropriate cross-functional partners to ensure coordinated, compliant patient identification efforts

Job Requirements:

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in science or business required. 

Experience 

• Minimum of 5 years of rare disease experience or experience selling in complex disease states preferred
• Demonstrated experience and success in patient identification, disease education, or complex diagnostic markets
• Proven ability to operate effectively in long-cycle sales environments

The anticipated salary for this position will be $185,500 to $202,000. The actual salary offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications, job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.

The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) is a critical, high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class FP&A function. This role will serve as the financial nerve center of the organization—driving disciplined planning, forecasting, analytics, and insight to enable informed, timely, and data-driven decision making. Strategy, Leadership & Transformation

• 15+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with demonstrated success building and scaling FP&A functions in high-growing and transformational environment. 
• Experience in healthcare, or similarly complex data-intensive environments preferred.
• Proven experience implementing and managing FP&A systems and planning tools.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise, coupled with strong financial systems and data analytics capabilities.
• Exceptional ability to communicate and present financial insights to ELT.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and execution skills, with the ability to take initiatives from concept through implementation.
• A proactive, business-oriented mindset with the credibility to partner effectively across functions.
• Experience supporting M&A modeling or strategic business case development.

• This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office and remote work. The employee will work from our office location in Stamford, Connecticut and remotely from a home office or other suitable location with reliable high-speed internet access.
