Summary

The Manager of Internal Audit will play a pivotal role in building, executing and enhancing the company’s newly revamped internal audit function, with a strong emphasis on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and operational audits. This individual will contribute to building a scalable and effective audit program, supporting risk management, control evaluation, and governance processes. The role requires someone who can manage co-sourced resources, collaborate across departments, and deliver value-added insights to improve business processes and controls. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this role will work closely with finance, operational, and other members of management to maintain transparency, integrity, and accountability within the organization. 

This position will be hybrid in office two days per week in Stamford, CT and may require occasion travel (~20%). 

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned areas of the SOX program, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and reporting. 
• Perform walkthroughs and document business processes, risks, control activities, and supporting technologies. 
• Review workpapers and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. 
• Draft and deliver audit results, ensuring timely and actionable feedback to stakeholders. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SOX, risk, and control, advising business and risk partners. 
• Ability to formulate opinions and communicate perspectives to stakeholders in a timely manner. 
• Conduct audits and ad-hoc internal audit projects aligned with the annual audit plan. 
• Manage multiple workstreams at the same time and prioritize tasks for team members. 
• Provide training and guidance to internal audit staff and control owners on SOX requirements and best practices. 
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and control enhancement. 
• Collaborate with external auditors, co-sourced partners, and internal stakeholders. 
• Support the growth of the internal audit function, including recruiting and onboarding efforts. 
• Contribute to the evolution of audit practices by incorporating emerging technologies and process refinements. 
• Participate in company-wide risk assessments and integrate findings into audit planning.

Education, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT or other related field; advanced degree a plus. 
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. 
• 7+ years of experience in auditing and/or compliance, including SOX program management. 
• Experience managing co-sourced resources and leading audit teams. 
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, financial reporting, enterprise risk frameworks. 
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, GRC platforms, and audit management software. Experience with NetSuite or Audit Board a plus. 
• Experience within the Healthcare industry. 
• Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.

The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) is a critical, high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class FP&A function. This role will serve as the financial nerve center of the organization—driving disciplined planning, forecasting, analytics, and insight to enable informed, timely, and data-driven decision making. The Vice President of FP&A will work alongside senior leadership to establish financial transparency, modernize planning processes and systems, and translate complex financial and operational data into clear strategic insights for management and the Board of Directors. Reporting to the SVP Corporate Controller, this role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the ability to design and implement scalable systems and processes while serving as a trusted thought partner to executive leadership.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy, Leadership & Transformation

• Establish standardized, scalable budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes that support growth, margin expansion, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of planning and forecasting systems and tools, partnering with leads supporting: Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, and Commercial teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, data quality, reporting cadence, and analytical rigor.

Annual Operating Plan, Forecasting & Performance Management

• Ownership of annual operating plan (AOP), forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Board and Investor reporting: Deliver timely, accurate monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board of Directors, and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust, integrated financial models to analyze performance across customers, products, channels, and business units.
• Analyze financial results and KPIs, clearly articulating performance drivers, variances to plan, risks, and opportunities.
• Proactively evaluate business trends, identifying emerging risks and upside opportunities.

Strategic & Operational Business Partnership

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to ELT and Management Team (MT) partners, providing insight that drives improved decision making and performance.
• Lead financial analysis supporting key strategic initiatives across Commercial, Lab Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and other corporate functions.
• Develop and report key performance indicators, dashboards, and scorecards for operations, procurement, and other functional leaders.
• Identify and lead cost reduction, margin improvement, and productivity initiatives in partnership with the business.

Analytics, Insight & Decision Support

• Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable analysis with clear recommendations for executive decision making.
• Translate complex data into compelling narratives and presentations for ELT and Board meetings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
