Technology Audit and Governance - Assistant Vice President

About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire an Assistant Vice President Technology Audit and Governance Engineer. This role will work closely with the Head of SDLC Governance and Internal Audit and various technology teams in governing the firm-wide SDLC and implementing, governing, and monitoring compliance of varied controls and policies, including providing support for the annual SOC 2 audit. In addition, the ideal candidate will share responsibility for performing administrative functions on Jira including user support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and perform internal audits of SOC 2 controls and policy compliance.
- Assist with governance of SDLC processes and associated tool configurations.
- Create and maintain documentation for processes followed and tools used.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SGIA processes.
- Support the annual SOC 2 audit.
- Assist with the administration of Jira and provide user support.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technology operations experience
- Familiar with modern programming languages and frameworks, preferably Python.
- Technical leadership and management experience is a plus
- Familiar with cloud-based technologies (i.e. AWS, K8s, etc.)
- Able to work independently or as part of a team effort, as required
- Experience with Python Scripting, GitLab, Git, Jira Administration, Vanta or other compliance monitoring tools, SOC 2 audits, controls testing or auditing, the automation of processes and SQL or MongoDB Query language
- Solid problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $155,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Role
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team located in New England. This role will report to the Sales Engineering Manager for the Americas Field Sales team.
You will be responsible for architecting technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points.

About The Role
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer, Cloud
Location: Guilford, Connecticut
This role is for talented Software Engineers with applied experience in building modern cloud services and web applications. The goal of this role is to design and develop key software systems for remote setup, management, and monitoring of our fleet of devices and ingestion, storage, visualization, and retrieval of data at a large scale. This engineer will work closely with other software engineers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and subject matter experts across the organization to implement solutions for a wide range of challenging clinical problems in MRI aimed at improving patient outcomes. Across the organization they will make a significant contribution to the company’s overall vision of developing cloud services with a delightful look and feel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop software systems and cloud applications with focus on maintenance, extensibility, integration, and security of data storage and retrieval.
- Quickly learn new tooling, platforms, and frameworks, when building and developing microservices and APIs.
- Adoption of new policies, technologies, and practices, as well as the evolution of existing methodologies.
- Implement comprehensive medical web application systems for multiple large-scale internal and external facing projects and document the design and specifications for internal and regulatory documentation.
- Participate in the code review process.
- Collaborate with software and cross-functional teams in design and technical reviews.
- Define high-level architecture, design and implement software solutions, assume accountability for the deployment and release of contributed code, and support the post-release lifecycle of our products.
- Mentor and support other engineers on the cloud team in your areas of expertise.
- Maintain familiarity with compliance standards mandated within a regulated medical device environment.
- Contribute code to a medical device software for cloud connectivity, including OTA (Over-the-air updates), Telemetry, User Management, MIoT (Medical Internet of Things), and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) relay.
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
- Building modern cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Backend web development, including best software engineering practices, efficient object-oriented software design, and building modern back-end systems (Python).
- Building and developing APIs and restful web services (Node.js, Flask/Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy).
- Front-end web development (Javascript, Typescript) and modern frameworks (React).
- Working with Product and UI/UX designers, translating wireframes and requirements into web applications.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 8+ years’ of work experience; or Masters Degree in Computer Science and 5+ years of work experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Top-notch written and communication skills in English.
- Ability to take part in on-call rotation to maintain service uptime.
- Ability to use and program a computer for 8 hours a day, five days a week.

The annual base salary for this position is between $143,500 - $165,000. This position is also eligible for to participate in Hyperfine's corporate bonus and equity plans. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, location, position level, and other job-related reasons.
